Oh ya I forgot to finish ..... apparently the lady who is selling her home told them if they have any questions about the lane to come to me.There is only 1 other person who has been here longer but she is a seasonal resident. Diesel got to do his meet to greet and was a very good boy. They all got out of their vehicle to pet him.

My weed eater has gone missing I usually put it with the lawn mower when I put them away.

Thursday Lilly has her oral surgery .. having her chipped as well .. just frantic about it .. she is just not one to be forced into doing ANYTHING .. and I hate to think about her being put out !

Very warm here today. If I had the AC turned on it would be blowing away. I think it was warmer yesterday though.

My heart just aches for Lorna M. There she is trying her best and our health system fails her. I am so glad she has you as you have her.

Doesn't bother me at all to stop a strange vehicle on the lane. We all do it... plus by the time they get to me they are definitely lost. Doesn't happen often as people are wary of the lane as it comes to me. It looks like you are going to the end of the world. Sometimes the TH and I are all out there. lol you should see people's faces.

Dragging now - hopefully I will be able to sleep tonight. The TH have slept all day so will probably dancing the light fantastic tonight.

Susan I sure hope this mess and negativity in your life clears up. I fear the tenants will try to do something to stop you from moving back in. I am sure you have had many scenarios playing around in your head. Sending positive thoughts.

Oh Betty I was stunned to see that there was a second death in Wasaga Beach this weekend. When I was watching the news I was chucking as there was the traffic bumper to bumper both ways same as it was when I was a teen. We used to summer in Grand Bend. I roller skated every night tanned and swam all day.

Bowls are being thrown around the kitchen so the TH is awake and hungry.

Heard from our tenants - they are accepting that May 31 at Noon they will be leaving.Lawyer said to send them an email
1. Estimate of Damage accounting is to be sent to them 10 days after they move, and final Damage Deposit accounting (plus any $$) is to be given to them 30 days after they move. As they're not moving until the 31st at noon, the "count down" starts then.
2. Damage Deposit cannot be used as rent. Rent is due now, and is a separate issue from the Damage Deposit.
3. We do not have to give a proof of where the DD is being kept.
4. Asking for their forwarding address so we can send them their accounting, and any $$.

btw - they cancelled their internet provider, but have not cancelled their power & gas. It does not end, just switches over from them, to us. So, we can move in on the 31st, as much as we can - Bed, bedding, toiletries, and CURTAINS lol
We won't have phone or internet until the next afternoon, but we'll have food, heat, lights, and a portable DVD player to watch movies on. It's what we did when we moved to where we are. We've roughed it here pretty much, so I guess we can do it there LOL

For months now I have been getting rid of pop ups for Windows 10 .. well, this morning, I opened the computer, was reading an email, and, POOF .. a message box told me Win10 was configuring !!?? DON'T turn off your computer .. well .. I gave that about 30 seconds of thought and shut OFF my computer, no way am I having Win10 ..
Sure hope that was OK ??!!

Lorna has help if it is needed .. there is boss Mason, his underling Corey, and 2 summer staff, Mike and Spencer .. Spencer was there last year for the summer, and, is quite attentive to Lorna .. however, when she fell, she just happened to be BEHIND the huge 'kneeling Jesus' statue .. ..
She has her cell phone with her at all times ..
Between that fall, and the one here at home, she is sore, and, feeling kind of defeated .. I will not say depressed as Lorna is not that way inclined .. she looks at the positive in most everything ..

Well at least you have it in writing they will be out by May 31st..that is a bonus, know Susan you are counting the days to be home..believe someone asked, is there still a deadline for you to have to leave the park, move your trailer?? That will play hard on your mind .

I do have the Windows 10 and getting along with it OK. I got a new laptop with it on and figured I might as well have my desk top the same.

Still can't find my grass trimmer. Either Steve borrowed it or it is in the shed down the hill and covered over with a ton of Frank's stuff. I see Canadian Tire has 1 on sale tomorrow for a very good price. It is just a 1 day sale but I was thinking of going into Ktown tomorrow anyway. I need some bags of earth from WM.

LK there is no worry about it being stolen. First of all we are over a mile in on a private lane plus who would be silly enough to face the TH. I am home I would say about 90% of the time. I rarely go out - my choice. I have a little piece of heaven here, not a shopper so go out once and awhile to get groceries.and furries supplies.

Sharon's sleep angels did find me last night. I slept without horrid dreams for about 4 hours.

Glorious day here. Nice and warm with a lovely breeze. Threat of rain tonight.

Karen - I just know quite a few people who got Win 10 and didn't like it. If you wait more than a month and decide you don't like it, you can't revert unless you buy an earlier version of Windows (or have it on disc already). To reinstall after the date, you'd have to reformat your computer and reinstall Windows.
That doesn't appeal to me at all..........

Susan, There are times when Win.10 irks me but I can usually work through it. As I said my new laptop came with it and I didn't want to deal with two systems so it was easier to make the change. Had I not gotten the laptop, I most likely wouldn't have changed my desktop.

FUMING .. Lorna's stump is 50 shades of purple/blue .. good lord I feel like suing that stupid prosthetist .. he has been stringing her along since December with the NEW LEG as the carrot !!!
Honestly I am going to blow my stack .. and, we all know that is NOT productive .. and minimizes your credibility .. but I am 'EXPLETIVE' !!!!!!!!!!

Otherwise I had a baking day after getting home from town with totally sweet Zoey .. she looks so darned cute when she gets groomed ..
DH had picked and cubed rhubarb .. hint, hint .. so, I made a pie and a coffee cake ..

As expected, I dissolved into a puddle of tears when I handed the vet tech the leash and he led Lilly away .. she was looking at me with such fear in her eyes ..
I literally bolted out of there, took 10 minutes in the car to get myself together to head home.

Now we wait to hear from the prosthetist re Lorna .. office hours start at 10am
She is back to bed .. this has just deflated her ..

Guess I'll get a cuppa and do what I seem to do best.. WAIT ...

I go on the 10th to get a machine I put on myself and it sends readings constantly to a specialists office for readings and assessments.

Just came in, got all the grass cut, need weeding done but that can happen tomorrow is the rain isn't too heavy..gardens are looking lush with all the green even though there are no flowers to speak of..got to love a freshly mowed lawn. At this time of year really need it done twice a week.

I accomplished much considering the dizziness from time to time..got Quebec and Northwest territory blocks done x3, hoping to get one more block x3 done..be more encouraging once I get beyond the 1/2 way mark

The polar bears will spruce up one the appliqué has been done to define the legs,right now it's difficult to see the legs for the blue/grey tones

Well, it happened just as I suspected it would. In spite of our landlords saying that we could take a few days in June to finish moving out and cleaning, they have changed their minds. She phoned last night to say that someone's coming in on Wed, and they want us out by Midnight on the 31st.
So, we hired (maybe?) a truck for Monday so we could load it fully, and Tues at noon we go do the Walk Through, then we can move in.
on the UP side - hooray!! Telus is coming between 1 & 3 to hook up internet & tv, and the home security company is coming to hook up our security system between 2 & 4. Busy day.....
Double Hooray!! we're getting a camera hooked up outside as well, but because of them not seeing my email on the 16th, we now have to wait for them to order the camera and it won't be until the 3rd, (or maybe the 6th) before they get one in....
They're giving us a discount for the time we haven't had it hooked up, but paid full month's charges. They disconnected it in Nov at our request because we thought we were moving then. And the cost per month of a camera is only $8!
