So .. do the mats jump up and dry the dogs off LoL
Ours come in the backdoor onto the backdoor 'runner' mat .. they rarely stop as they trudge forward into the kitchen to see if anyone has dropped anything on the floor :-)
I could block off that entrance though ..
All I know is they GET WET !!!

Went grocery shopping, had the cart pretty full, about half, realized I had a 'wheel problem', was a bugger getting the cart around the last few aisles, and, it seemed pulling it by the front was easier ..
Got in line at the checkout .. Lorna was bagging .. all of a sudden I felt ?something? 'uncool' happen at my mid back .. a dull penetrating ache .. made me nauseous ..
Kept pushing .. like all of us tend to do .. get home, put stuff away, get dinner on .. half way through dinner I had to go and lay down .. still feel yuk ..
Hope this just goes away .. but.. with psoriatic arthritis, it may not :-(

If the article you order from Amazon.com you do have to pay for shipping. I can't even order a gift certificate from Amazon.ca to go to the US.When I go to Pet Store tomorrow I will check where this one came from.

Good heavens, I didn't realize was so long since I was here and trying to catch up.

32 and light snow covering here.

Still battling this virus or whatever, finishing up antibiotics and eye drops and on vitamins and bland diet and blaaaaaah. Can't look at the screens here so much WHITE my eyes start tearing and thats that. I even tried with sunglasses!!!
It brings on a migraine I think.

Not much really to report but I have bad cabin fever.

another needle into his eye to irrigate the 'channel' made by the Ophthalmologist in Toronto, plus, he now has to massage his eye 3-4 times a day to keep the fluid flowing ..
I am expecting to be told to book a flight at any time .. I hope NOT, but, it could happen I guess :-)

OH M Gord's eye needs a talking to.... as my mom used to say. Sending positive thoughts and prayers.

Well my encounter with the woodpile caused a bit more damage to me than I thought. Quite a number of bruises along my left side particularly from my elbow to my shoulder. Worst part is I managed to crack a rib or 2 on the left side.

Glorious day out there today. Sunny but very cold.

Ah Debbie I wish we had a bridge just for us mind you across the lake.

Counting down with you LK.When I had my knee done the first time I kept telling the nurses I didn't need pain meds as compared to the pain I was in before this was a walk in the park. I hope you find that too.

Keeping Gord in my prayers "M".

What was to be 1-3" of snow today turned into almost 7" of heavy wet sticky stuff. I'm so very grateful to my hubby who came home early in time to take care of clearing the car. I have never had to do it as the management here treats me well. If they want to plow and Norm isn't home, they clean and move my car. Today the guy doing the snowblower kept blowing snow all over my window and each time he did it, my upstairs neighbor would come along with her squeegee and clear it off. I am so lucky to have nice neighbors.

The compass is ready to sandwich and quilt. Still haven't decided if I will do it by hand or not.

M- I'm praying for Gord, that his eyes heal well.....
just up from a nap. After going to the Dr to hand in my form to be done re: tax rebate (to zero taxes, I hope), went to Library to return DVDs and get more. Felt like I was going to be sick - splashed face. Sat on my walker. Another patron got someone from library to help, then Bob found me (he knew I would be in Craft section lol).Sat for awhile and then went home. Laid down for 4 hours, and now feeling better.
I think all the stress since last May has finally caught up with me and reason for stress is only getting worse. Not sure if our tenants Will leave when they're supposed to. If they don't, we have to get an Order of Possession. We will put a notice on their gate to say the lease will not be renewed. If they ignore that, we can increase rent to $2000 from $900 - there are no rent regulations. At the moment, I don't know what order to do what in. Waiting for call from lawyer.
On Monday I'm going to call the Kerby Center again, and talk to someone about Elder Abuse as well as see about a wheelchair. I should also get my form from my Dr. then.

Oh M it was a combination of ice,the wood pile toppling down on me plus I had poor balance. This probably the only time I would say Thank Goodness there was a post that I was pushed into - saved my noggin from hitting the ground as I fell backwards.

Its snowing here and shows signs of picking up rather than stopping. The boys are in seventh heaven. There are a few dog angels out there already.

Susan, I would send that notice so they have to sign for it, so you have proof they received it. Last time they sad they never got it. You need to cover yourself.
