Popping in with a quick hello. Feeling a bit better.

From what I hear from "my" weather liars, the storm is going to miss us.
We might get some winds, but not supposed to be snow.

Sounds like the storm is coming up the East coast from NC, VA, Wash DC, MD and on up......and hopefully out to sea before it gets to Barb!!!

BUT weather liars said....if the winds change..who knows. Lovely! lol

The Psoriatic Arthritis I am dealing with is whacking my tushy !! I feel tired much of the time, but, I PUSH .. comes a time when my body just says .. NOPE, that's IT!!
My hands are cannon fodder with the cold, as is my neck .. so .. I will listen .. sorta ..

Not much happening .. DH is actually going out wit his Cronies today .. it'll do him a world of good ..
Dogs are all OK ..
Lorna is so so .. she is no fan of walking in the snow/ice, she does wish for snow so she can get out on her ATV and plough .. no denying she is good at it ..

Morning everyone. 40 here this morning, but will warm-up to about 65-70.

Only supposed to get light snow here and not until late tomorrow. The big storm is "supposed" to stay south of me. My brother lives in NC and he is getting hit.

Hot coffee sure tastes good this morning. Hope you all can join me. It is only 18* here this morning.... Hope to warm up to almost 30*.

Not supposed to get much more than a dusting here from the big storm. Hope that turns out to be correct this time!!! LOL

Hi - I've been in the hospital for five days.

If anyone can find, anywhere, a post in which I said I would never post at DG again, please point it out to me. Until that happens, know that Karen lied. i don't know her motive except she didn't like ATP and resented any attempts to welcome her there.

I am upset that people whom I considered friends are giving more creedence to lies about me than to what I acctually say.

When Betty returned here and began posting again I was among the first to welcome her back. I am fond of Betty. I consider her a friend. That does not mean that I cannot criticize her, any more than it means she (or someone else) cannot criticize me. I told my truth about the situation here. If she wants to make an issue of it I will happpily deal directly with her - as I have done on many other occasions which were handled through Dmail. I think she is a strong person who can, if she wishes, think about what I said, or ignore it. I never suggested that she is a bad person or that she should be shunned.

I do not think that people who care about each other should lie about each other. If anyone can show me any place that I posted anything that said I would never post here again, direct me to it. Until that happens the question for Karen is - why would tell such a lie. I was as welcoming to you as I could be at ATP as I knew how much you were hurting by the problems here, which included Betty taking a hiatus and not contacting anyone to reassure her friends here that things were OK with her. I can understand that ATP was not to Karen's liking but it does not justify the problems she has caused for me here.

I got out of the hosopital yesterday after a five day stay and must concentrate on my healing, not on things here. I've said what I had to say. Several times. If you choose to continue to enable Karen that's not my problem.

Betty asked for a picture of how my quilt is coming so I'll post it here for her. The center is done and I'm waiting for fabrics for the borders and backing.

I gather it's warmer here than in most places (no, not Mexico lol). It's currently 41F, and climbing!! And it's not a Chinook, either!!

Poor Bob - he's just not getting good sleep. He wakes up 3 to 4 times a night, and he's still in bed resting. He's got a stress-related cold, because he's so run down due to the upcoming court case. He doesn't believe that the Hearing Officer will believe us, and will continue to allow the tenants to stay....... We have 2 police reports showing that they're harassing us (just got them yesterday) so hopefully this will help.
Thursday at 1:30pm is the Hearing.....

Well then .. I guess I'll just say I'm having a good day

Katie, just keep it going if you wish. We had been talking about Betty leaving and My words were. I was afraid we were losing Katie too. Not hardly a malicious lie you are making it out to be. I'm done with it, the lie is not on my side.

Good morning everyone. Coffee is ready. 34 right now, but is predicted to reach 65 this afternoon. We will be going back to Mexico for another tooth session, then one more visit, and I should have the crown.

Your low is 35 LInda and I haven't seen that high a temp in well over a week!!!! It is chilly here but hopefully will get a tad warmer next week. I'm very lucky in that the big storm is staying to the south of me. Hope to get out with Norm and do some more fabric shopping. I love what I ordered for the quilt and now I have a request for a Mariner's Compass from one of Norm's co-workers. I haven't been out of the house since Christmas and it is about time I did!!

Yes I got one unit...still need more..and my probes up & down. Good news Never need to have colonoscopy again. Will need another EGD in two or three weeks to be sure all bleeders were taken care of. But that's no biggie, no prep required except don't eat for a few hours ahead of time.
Looks like it be onward and upward from here. This year has got to be better than the last.

Getting ready to leave now. My appointment is at 1. Gonna grab something quick for lunch, then go over.

Just glanced through the posts of the day..glad many of you missed the storms, not so lucky here
Finally went to town yesterday and picked up groceries and sewing supplies..was tempted to go to Buffalo with the girls but opted out so local shops it was.

I love that quilt Barb, now to quilt it..I've one ready for the frame and am excited to get it on..

Lindakay, never a day goes by that I don't include prayers that all will got good with the operation, long overdo..must say that prayers include you all, as I know all have health issues you also are dealing with.

Been a long day for me, bath is calling my name and bed looks mighty tempting so hugs to all

Dental appointment went well. I have the post installed with a temporary crown. Permanent crown will be installed next Saturday. I got the first appointment pretty quick. I called on a Wednesday, and saw him Saturday.

Liz, a sinus infection is not fun. And after cleaning my storage room off the laundry room for over a week, a condo is starting to look good. I have gleaned many items. Already made one trip for charity and have my SUV full ready for another delivery. The storage room is 3/4 finished but I have a total mess in the laundry room and the area by my work bench in the garage another total disaster.

I changed linens today but I did something I do not usually do. I removed, washed and replaced the same linens. Vern was still in bed when I started removing the sheets. He asked me if I was trying to tell him something.

Linda, good news on your crown. How far do you have to drive? We are close to you. We are suppose to maybe have rain Tuesday and then by Friday be in the upper 60s.

Maypop, I need to figure out how to stream. I have Direct TV and wireless but every time I have tried it, I fail. Says it cannot find my connection.

Need to go, Vern wants some ice cream.

Had about MAYBE an inch of snow overnight .. very fluffy, has covered all the 'yellow roses' LoL
Haven't looked to see how the eastern sea board is making out, when I went to bed NY was in a real mess.

NETFLIX .. love it/hate it .. seems you can be half way, or more, through watching a Movie, and,it stops .. and this wee circle goes around like it's trying to load .. so, you have to go back to the beginning, and quickly go through the scene stills til you find where you were. ..
Watched 'WILD' last night, with Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern .. excellent movie ..

Oh, Liz, that rag quilt sounds so wonderful .. I am sure your sister will be ecstatic ..
I do visit the 'Movie thread' every so often .. good tips :-)

Sharon, I, too, rarely wash and put on the same linens, but have on occasion .. my Mom was the world's greatest organizer of sheets .. always varied each set, AND< she IRONED them !
I think what you're going through now with your storage room and laundry room, is the reason I do NOT want to start !

Don't know what's up today .. cooking a pork roast for supper ..doubtless Lorna will be excited to see snow that is, to her, ploughable :-) She does like working around in that machine .. I'll take some pics today !!

Didn't get to go to the fabric store yesterday so we are going today and my neighbor upstairs that knits and quilts with me is coming along too. She wasn't able to go yesterday. I just need to be back home before the Patriots game. LOL
We didn't get any of the storm at all - just the frigid temps now.

We were dusted with maybe an inch and icy. GS, Lil'E, made his first "snowman". Look carefully or you'll miss it. What can I say? This is the deep South after all.

The spinning circle has to do with poor reception from your provider such as low band width or interference. Not the source like HBO or Netflix. The provider can usually service your connection and maybe add boosters or extenders free to help with that.

I don't know what was done in the hospital but feel they must have twisted me somehow. My lower back on the left side is killing me. I can barely walk. If I sit and don't move it's OK but any movement and I'm in agony. I had thought a couple days rest would take care of it but no go.
It's so frustrating to have to be so idle when I have so much to do.

I live 7 miles from the border, not far at all. Once we cross the border, the dentist is only 3 blocks down on the main street.
