9th Annual DG Christmas Craft Workshop..hear those bells??
Thanks for the new room!
Think I have to pass. Nov. is getting crazier and crazier. I'm looking at three trips down state and one to TN.I was thinking I would have all the tree skirts done, now not so sure.
You'll get them done, one at a time, slow but sure!
Very excited about this craft. I'm keeping this one for myself!
Could these be used as night lights? Without the hats on? I am wondering if I could do them for the girls.
If so, I want to do three. If I can find inexpensive blocks. I would not need hats, gloves, or scarves. But I would still like the snow flakes.
Thunder, they are on sale at hobby lobby right now for like$6.00.
Not when I looked on line. Not on sale.
They could be night lights even with the hats I think
Not on sale but if you used a coupon they have with 40% off and do it 3 times as they only accept one per block??
Let me know
Good morning.
my plans for today got re-routed, lol.
sooo, made a list for dollar store on the way back.
Betty, what size glove, like one size fits all or kid size?
Yes, that is the one Judy!
My block, lights, and paint are supposed to arrive today. I'll go ahead and prep my block for painting.
You can Julie but I'd rather you wait, I'm sending something that comes first..if you've already done it don't fret But there is a step you will have missed to make life easier
Haven't done it yet, so I'll wait. Already getting ahead of myself! LOL
Lol that you are..
I just have so much to finish before Christmas that I thought I'd get ahead. One thing at a time!
good morning!
Wellll, I am working on last years project! lol I stopped originally because I don't have a decent liner. which I now have, wink...
So the great cleanup is just about complete so thought I'd finish what I started. IF I like it, I have 6 others to do. lol all will be gifts this year.
I'm on step15 waiting for paint to dry. will get snowflakes on in a bit!
...and last years mat! So I am having a big dilemma on adding anything to the mat...It looks mountainous to me, lol...
As for this years, I got the lights and the block. haven't found gloves and scarf yet.
Hint to all painters, do not place coffee cup next to brush water!
I do have all the other paints, sealer and tac and the block!
So laughing Judy, don't know how many times I've done that, funny I've not been poisoned lol
Good girl finishing your projects
Now on wine glass, looking good, if you have a porous sponge I'd do an ever slight it of white so it looks fluffy
As for the floor at, once everything is painted ie design it will come together
Keep going girl, love to see the crafting.
As for the scarf, gloves, hat, if you can't find any let me know
Going up to top re cost of project
Judy, you are one busy lady! Oooops on the coffee cup! :)
I love your glass. It took me a few tries, but I got them done easily, once I figured them out!
Added workshop kit cost above but will add it here as well
COST
Regular kit (without hat/gloves/scarf or glass block). $10.00
Kit with gloves, hat scarf. $15
Kit with gloves, mitts, hat and glass block. $25
IF you can mail it out shortly it may arrive before the 13th so I can pay for shipping and kits
Always appreciated as it gives more $$$ for crafting while I am there. Lol
Lindakay, you did them and gave them out as Christmas gifts right?
Linda called. Me this morning wanting to know if we would do those top hat snowman/snowlady wine glasses when doing the snowman block, nope!😜
Yep, I think I like it so far, thank Linda Kay. Good incentive to keep going.
Betty, do you mean a slight white on the grey??
I'm thinking, should I bring the fluff closer to forehead, might look better??
Yes, I made both mats for gifts. as well as a lot of the glasses. Once I figured them out, they were easy to do.
Think once you fluff up the grey with white and yes you could go a little lower but not too much and in random places vs straight line..you will indeed love it once done..I find also when I set candle unit on top it's just too adorable
Judy, just a reminder that the Santa Warren Christmas exchange is on, would hate for you to miss it!
OK, will add to the fluff, just got back from oil change; all is dry so will add now and prep a few other wine glasses.
Thanks Betty, yep posted this morning, probably crossed with someone.
But yes,yes please add me!
Don't you forget to post photo's as your crafting progresses
I'm here finishing off projects as well
I want to be completely finished with preside bought and made by end of November and just enjoy December, so loved last year doing same!
