Heading to the courts, to file for a hearing to get our tenants out asap......
Suite 314 Sweet Interruptions
Cindy, that is awesome news. I hope you get your back taken care of soon.
Good luck Susan.
Just got home from filing for the court - hearing date is Nov 27th at 9am to 10am.
We should get a judgement at the hearing, after we've had our "says".
We told our Grace about it. Also told her that we do not want Marcel in here while we still live here.
I'm hoping that we'll get a 24 hour notice for Marcel & Carolyn to vacate (Saturday Nov 28th by noon).
Thank you themoonhowl for the link. Who would think a diabetes site would have free pattern slippers. Really are a lot to choose from.
Hope you are "home" soon Susan. What an ordeal the two of you have gone through. Cindy, I hope you sell all your candles. Glad to hear all went well with the mammogram. And LK, I know you will be looking forward to Feb. 22nd. I feel so blessed I don't have major problems. Jaye, hope all is going well with you.
Was to the doctor today, Oh I really like him. We talked on several subjects that concerned me, kidneys, I have to stop taking naprozen because it is hard on kidneys. Everything is wearing out when you get older. BP was high, but I'm so worried about all the people in my life who are battling cancer. Have to keep track of that. And, darn it all I didn't lose one ounce of weight. Don't have to go back for 4 months.
Thank you, Pegi - I'm hoping to be home soon.......... perhaps they'll be told they need to leave on the 28th, by the Tenancy Officer. That would be a blessing if we don't have to pay a bailiff to remove them forcibly. If, however, they won't leave when the directive IS to, then we WILL hire a bailiff who can (based on the directive from the Officer). It's only $150 to get rid of rubbish.... "good riddance to bad rubbish"......!!!
My friend Wes passed away this morning. I felt I would receive the bad news today, but now he is no longer suffering. His wife called me and she seems to be doing OK for now. His son was by his side so he wasn't alone when he passed. Some family will be here for Thanksgiving and more in Dec. when she will have a memorial at their church. She donated his body to science hoping in some way he will help others. She posted some pictures on Facebook of both of them and that is the way I want to remember him.
This thread has started with Wes, and I suggest (in his memory) that we end it with him - what say you, oh keeper-of-the-thread..............
Pegi - sorry to hear Wes has passed. Good that you have fond memories of he & his wife's pictures. That's the best way. I'm happy to hear he wasn't alone when he passed and that his wife is doing relatively well. My prayers for all of you.
I'm going home soon. Dr. told me thete is no cure. I'll have to be monitored and have regular transfusions to keep it under control. That makes 2 incurables for me, but both I can live with. I had been going so steadily down hill that I. thought I was near the end of my road.
((Hugs)) Karen - it's tough to have incurables........ You've had a tough year, here's hoping and praying that you'll have it easier now, with the maintenance you can now do.
I'm sorry to hear that Ernie's having a tough time (as you said in another thread that I posted to, incorrectly). I will keep him in our prayers as well.
Susan hope all works out with the tenants
Cindy congrats on the good news. I did the same stuff two weeks ago. I have cysts that are painful in my right breast. Dr says all benign but he will keep an eye on it. Sometimes our hormones like to make us lumpy lol
LK good luck on the hip surgery. Keeping you in my thoughts
Sorry - meant to mention:
Cindy - how awesome is that - the cyst disappeared!! I had what I thought were cysts once, in my arm, but the Dr said they were fatty deposits, and yes - they went away. The one time when I liked being told I had extra fat on me LOL
Sorry to hear about Wes passing. Sending prayers.
