He told me to go home and take a Motrin, and I laughed in his face. I told him I have Vicodin to take and it does not touch the pain, how do you think a Motrin will work?
Suite 314 Sweet Interruptions
linda, i am so sorry. praying you get relief soon.
I would so throw the Hippocratic Oath in his face!!!! And then ask him if the degree certificate on his wall is real!!!! There is no reason for him to act like that. Now I would report his behavior to the state board......
yeah, sometimes male Drs cn be so ignorant!!
When they get into "Little Tin God" mode, they are impossible to reason with. I have switched to women, mine are much more empathetic to my feelings. and needs.

Our doctors in CA were women and they were outstanding. Wish we had more female doctors here.
Wow LK! If only the doctor knew how much patience you have and for you to throw that 'Motrin
back to his face. He is darn lucky he didnt feel the weight of your fist!!
Yes, I would report him to the state board. Maybe you could find another doctor?
Hello family,
brought Lola to her vet today.. an old vet that had to be paid in cash, unlike the 'charge' vet
He has all her records and she doesn't try to bite him when checked.
Lola has cysts on her belly, and I had begged Kel to get her check.. well.. my fault too.
The cysts are breast cancer tumors, set for surgery on the first of December.
Told Kel about it when I came home, he's expected to fork out 300 and he just shook his head.
So LK.. I'll be 'borrowing' that from you, and he'd pay you back...
Hoping her blood work today will show nothe else to complicate things.
Seems my 'kids' get better care than me?
I know it's a lot of money, but they gave me unconditional love that Kel can't.
Happy belated birthday Ernie.
My son, Sailor boy's birthday too. Smart hubs, planned trip to lighthouse. Knowing I'd be freaking out, and not be depressed over not being with son. Yup. Smart. And sneaky...total torture going up, and coming down ... see through stairs. YIKES. but love to see the ocean from up top.
Well he did the right thing!!!
Smart DH indeed! Next time just go go up to the highest floor of a building facing the ocean! Thunder, I don't think I can maneuver those stairs.
Happy Birthday Sailor Boy.
Jaye, I almost swung my foot while I was on the exam table. He would have had some crushed nuts! :)
So sorry to hear about Lola! Sending you hugs and prayers. Jaye, you can borrow money from me any time! :)
Happy birthday to your Sailor boy!
I don't think my knees would do all those steps either. But boy, what a view!
Happy Birthday, Sailor Boy
LK - I just may have connected, if it were me swinging my foot......... and ask him if that was a Neck Ache........... lol
Jaye - I'm glad to hear that Kel will pay for the surgery....eventually
Good morning family.
Here's hoping your cups of coffee will see you to a very good Thursday.
Morning Jaye. I have been calling you, but I guess your phone is not working?
Try now sis.
DGS, wife & daughter are heading home today. Sorry to see them go but I know he has a lot he wants to get done before returning to work next Mon.
Seems like those visits go so quickly! Give him hugs from us, with our Thanks for his service!
Hello Friends,
I met my new doctor yesterday. When he walked in I said "Oh I knew you were going to be a young one!" lol He just laughed. But I really like him. He is signing a Medical Marijuana application for me, plus he ordered a dignostic mammogram when he felt the lump in my armpit.
Needless to say I am scared shitless. I have been crying off and on all morning long and trying to hide it from my mom. She has come down with a cold or something, and on top of her neck pain she is not a happy camper. I am scheduled Dec 1st for mammo, but on the waiting list for a call in case of cancellation. I had texted my BFF and told her and instead of being supportive she said "Why did you go to a doctor in Auburn instead of signing up with Kaiser?" Well for several reason, one it's close to my home, two I have been going to this clinic for over 30 yrs, just needed a new doctor because mine passed two years ago. Kind of hurt that she was like that, instead of saying something encouraging.
Went yesterday to see where the Holiday Boutique is going to be held. HOLY MOLY this gal's house is huge!!! It is going to be so cool when it's all set up. I will take pictures to share with you.
Been busy making food stuff for Halloween party for the kids tomorrow. Got up at 5 am and made a bunch of sugar cookies in Halloween shapes. The kids are decorating them today. So glad I am not there right now, what a mess LOL
OK got to get back to making candles.............
We just got a call from the City Of Calgary, saying that our tenants have acted without our authorization and are having our lumber (including cedar posts) removed. It's already loaded, and the City could either return it to the backyard and we'd get a 48 hour notice to clean it up or they could haul it away. Normally it's $250 to haul away, but he'd only charge a reasonable amount ($200 maybe, he said?). We'll charge them back in the damage deposit.
I called Service Alberta and they're suggesting we take this to court to have our tenants removed. It could take 2 to 3 weeks to be seen in court, and maybe another 2 weeks for them to be evicted, should the judge see it our way.
I'm filling out the application now... This will happen!
Wow Susan!! These people are something else omg!!! So sorry you are dealing with all this BS!!! They may end up homeless???
Cindy - they won't end up homeless. Our city isn't that bad (yet).
I've just left a message for the constable that attended on Sept 25th, when Carolyn admitted that everything I said was "true & factual). He asked her that specifically.
What a bunch of low life tenants, Susan! I hope you can get them out soon.
Got my new Bissell shampooer and it works like a charm. Being so light weight is really great. I did add more of the cleaner than i was supposed to, never finish reading all the instructions. I tried it on the worse place first and think I'm going to be happy. I'm thinking about running a tank of clear water afterward and I have some scotchgard here that I may spray over it when completely finished. I can get the cleaner's at either Walmart or Target so won't have to order direct from Bissell.
Cindy, I hope you get some results soon on that lump. Keep you in my prayers. My niece, by marriage, is going into surgery today and need prayers. She is such a great mom and hubby that will be a great support for her. Will report more when I hear from my sister. Rough road ahead of her.
Pegi - my prayers for your niece - yes, it's a rough road for her.
Glad to hear your Bissell is "working a treat" :-)
As the Health & Safety dept rep said yesterday "people will often act nice at first, and lull you into thinking they're good - that's how they catch you."
Geesh, when will it end for you and your tenants Susan! Why would they do such a thing? I pray you can get them to court quickly!
Pegi, sending prayers for your niece.
Thank you LK - I predict that it will get nastier before it gets better.
I've got a call into the constable who attended on Sept 25th, and heard Carolyn confess that everything I was saying was true and factual, asking the constable if he would attend court with us. He hasn't called back yet, so I can only presume he's off today.
I had read of Pegi's niece and Cindy's distress.... plus the shenanigan that your tenants pulled Susan, before I went to Revival.
Asked the church to pray and also Wes.
Susan it seems God is moving fast! You might get to move in sooner than you thought.
Kelvin broke down last night. He is no longer in denial that Lola has breast cancer. The neglect weighed him down.
As a sister said this morning.. there's still some goodness left.
The blood tests came in and Lola's good to go for surgery.
Kelvin checked the internet, and we are somewhat hoping that Lola's cancer is not in the glands as most breast cancers in bitches can be treated, once removed and Lola spayed.
Didn't know that if a bitch is spayed, that will prevent her from getting breast cancer.
Papa acted like the old papa. Lola refused to budge from his side last night.
YES!! God is so good!!! I thought I'd never attend one day of Revival for Kelvin's been selfish about using his truck in the evenings when he's at the prison. A simple matter of just dropping him off right and pick him up in the morning. But he won't hear of it.
God heared my prayers. This afternoon he had a call from the prison that he's required to go to Raleigh for his seargant classes for Friday and Saturday!! He was to leave Friday morning, straight from work!
Yes!!! He agreed that I drop him off tonight so I'd have the truck!
Nothing like worshipping our Lord in His house.
Good, Jaye - God is answering your prayers. HE wants you to go to the Revival!! Praise God!!!
I forgot to mention - when I spoke to the City Of Calgary's Property Manager for our Park, he told me that Carolyn smelled gas in the mobile, and he told her it was an Atco Gas issue. Our tenants did not tell us, and that's a breach of the tenancy!! Hooray, Hooray! They're breaking the tenancy left, right, and center. Unfortunately I cannot confirm whether or not Atco went there, or if our tenants called, because the utility bill is in their name. Doesn't matter that the building is OURS..... I'm going to call tomorrow morning, and speak to them in the office. It's wrong that we can't find this important information about Our building.
omg - this is a MAJOR breach of the tenancy - with or without a lease!!!
Glad to hear you were able to go to revival last night Jaye.
HE is listening and answered you and Susan.
Well, my new Cadillac isn't new anymore. I was going to the store yesterday and some lady slammed on her brakes to rurn, rifht in front of me, and I slammed into to the back of her car. No one was hurt badly, just bruises. The Cadillac was towed away, I came home and called the insurance. They will send an adjuster out sometime today, the take it to a garage to get the front end fixed, and give us a rental.
I know that feeling. A few months ago a young man ran a stop sign and plowed into the driver's side of my new Subaru. It was in the body shop for quite awhile. He was driving on a suspended license but he was driving his uncle's car which was insured. So thankfully the repairs were paid for by someone else.
I hope no one was injured?
I don't think so. Thankfully, I wasn't. The other driver left the scene making it a hit-and-run. He got 4 tickets. It became a misdemeanor in court.
LK - so glad no one was hurt (except for some bruises)!!
Well, our tenants finally "hung themselves".....
I spoke to the gas company, and they can do a walk-around the property to see if there's a gas leak issue, but cannot go into the building without the bill payer's permission.
I spoke to Residential Tenancy and they said for 3 issues we can serve them 14 days clear notice, so giving them notice tomorrow, means they have to be out by noon on Nov 15th.
We cannot get the police to attend, unfortunately..
The three issues are:
1. not allowing us legal & easy access on Oct 18th when they blocked the driveway and deck gate
2. not informing us of a potential gas leak
3. Disposal of Landlord's personal property without authorization (the cost will be deducted from their damage deposit).
Glad to hear you will be going back to your own home soon. Have you told your landlord?
not yet - we have to give 1 month's notice.
I'm hoping their boys will help us load a truck - now, we have to get a truck. We'll set everything up when we've given Marcel & Carolyn their notice. Can be same day. Our friend put the "notice to enter" on M&C's deck gate this morning, and we go there tomorrow "sometime" lol let them stew and wait.......
My niece came through surgery just fine. She has been suffering with pain in her left foot for so long and doctors can't fix it as bones are crumbling and has serious infection. She had her left foot amputated (her choice) as they can't control infection. If let go it could take her life. She is in good spirits, no more pain, and is looking forward to learning how to walk on phrothesis (sp). My sister will be going to New York in December to help her out with every thing including making Christmas cookies with the kids. Her goal is to walk even with a walker to mass on Christmas. Positive attitude!! Thanks for all the prayers, I know she appreciates it.
Thanks for the update, I am glad to hear she is upbeat about the whole thing.
Did she have an injury to her foot?
WOW!!!! God is certainly working overtime behind the scenes and answering prayers left and right!!
LK, I am sorry for the damage to your new ride, but I thank God you are still with us.
Praise God that you Carole too, came out fine.
Praise God that your niece, Pegi, is in high spirits and her attitude will go far, the kids have a hero!
Praise God, Susan, He made use of your tenants' arrogance, I shan't call it ignorance. They knew better but too arrogant to care.
Made it to another night of Revival.
Brought you all with me

Jaye - I'm afraid that our tenants are getting more arrogant.... sounds like they're trying to accuse Bob of inappropriately "touching" their daughter...
I can't believe their baseless lying... at her age, of 1 year old, they're always with her.. and they're also saying we offered to babysit her, and that's "weird"
What is WRONG with these people?
Oh no, how can they claim that? When did he get a chance to do such a thing, when your not allowed to enter the home?
Wow those people are idiots!!! Karma is going to find them big time!! You just wait and see!
Mom has been sick since Wednesday, so I've been taking care of her, plus still making candles and getting orders shipped
Here is a pic of me with my little buddy JT at the Halloween party we had for the kids yesterday. it was fun but so glad we don't have parties every day OMG!!!!
