Stop by big warehouse picked up 100 lbs of soy wax and added these new fragrances Fresh Coffee (OH MAN does it smell gooooooddd), Amaretto Nog, Blue Spruce, Gingerbread, Christmas Hearth, Frankincense & Myrrh, Holly Berry, Very Vanilla, Orange and Chili Pepper (love this one too)
I'm bowling in a tournament in the morning, then back home we goooooooo

Good Saturday family.
The town has it's annual Yam Festival today, a one day affair and practically all roads leading to civilization are closed!! So.. the grocery stores are too.
I had to keep turning around facing so many road blocks, more than last year a total waste of half an hour. There's only ONE through major fare here, and why the dickens did they closed the side roads that can be used to GET out of this town? No warnings at all. Unlike last year, there was one side street that remained open, a street not affected by parades and that's closed now.
Thank God I have enough fresh meat for MuffinMan and Dorito chips for me!!

Kel's mother insisted he closed the shop this morning as every year there'd be no customers.

Barb, Corgis are cute and smart! I've always wanted one, but can't afford the price asked. At the vet yesterday, there was a Great Pyreneese (SP) for sale for only 800!! Lololol. Minus one zero, maybe I'll think of it!!

Got a query yesterday about our piano, and today someone who knows about them is coming on their behalf to look at it. Hope they want it at the asking price of $400! I said "reasonable amounts would be entertained"........ Once, we got offered $50 for it!!

I hope you get a good price for it Susan. But now that you will be going back home soon, are yiu still wanting to sell it?

I'm asking $400 for it - it's worth $900. We'll see what she says - I'd once offered to sell it for $500, but have lowered the price.
If it doesn't sell, we'll have a space for it at the mobile, that's all......

It is back in the 90's again. Always looking forward to cooler temps, but they don't seem to stay long.

I bought myself a Bissell carpet shampooer on line and should come around the 2nd of Nov. My carpets are so filthy and my Hoover decided not to work any more. This one is supposed to help with pet hair and stains so I'm anxious to get it. Set up my profile on their web site and got another 10% off so saving myself over $30.

Susan, I hope you sell your piano. What an ordeal you have been through over the last months.

He has no pride at all, and as far as he's concerned, as long as the main house's roof isn't leaking, we have shelter.

I did not bowl good at all until the last game. But that's ok it was nice to take mom out for a change. With her neck problems she can't do much or go anywhere. We had a nice dinner last night, chillaxed in the room (we don't gamble much at all) then had a good breakfast this morning before bowling.

Jayegirl, my Harlee girl is more important to me than finding a new boyfriend LOL. She loves me no matter what and will always be faithful. I haven't really had much interest in finding a guy, although I have talked to a few but they just don't turn me on. I guess it's because I'm not quite over the breakup yet, still need more time for my heart to heal. Doug told Sheri that he may be hitting the road, going to travel the USA and he will give Amy to me. I want her NOW!!!

Well tomorrow is going to be a busy day :) someone ordered some candles from me!!! Thank You Jayegirl!!! Guess which one I am making first Fresh Coffee, OMG it is awesome!!! I think it might be a big hit!

Yep, sis Carolyn's son is a coffeeholic. Richard and his wife have been tremendous support always thinking of me, having me over for suppers and taking me out to eat. Plus they let me use their address.

Well Jayegirl, Doug talks BIG!!! LOL He has been telling people that he's going to trade the Sportster in for another bike. But I don't think he realizes that he will still owe what is owed on the Sportser plus $9,000 for the other bike which will mean a loan of $15,000 and he has a loan at the bank for $7500, and now has a storage unit to pay on since he had to move. He gets a little over a $1000 from SSDI but come this time next year they will be cutting it by 20%. So I don't see how he thinks he can do any traveling on less than $500 a month, lol He is trying to "relive" everything we had talked about wanting to do. I had told him that when when Brother came home, that I wanted to get a toy hauler and do some traveling and he was all in. But he blew it by dumping me, lol.

Boy! Mom and I were a bit tired when we got home yesterday, lol Mom didn't sleep good Friday night and I had gotten up early yesterday. Then with bowling and a two hour drive home made me very tired. So we both were in bed before 8 o'clock, but I watched some shows I recorded and finally fell asleep about 10 o'clock. Now here I am up early (5 am) waiting for it to get daylight, gonna sit in my hot tub then head to a few stores pick up a few things then back home to get started on candles orders. Thank You Jaye and Barb!!!

Brought Lola to the vet this morning, but had a long line so I'll return tomorrow morning. This vet doesn't take appointments.

In the meantime, I am trying my very best not to give in to Kelvin's narcissism, and I failed today.
He intentionally went ballistic over something trivial, and darn, if I didn't fall into the trap of retaliating the way he wanted me to.
It is so hard to be perfect!! Lolol.

Revival starts this week, without a truck I can't be there. His buddy was supposed to fix it today.,. of course, there's no buddy. He then said he'd have to find another buddy.
Yes it is very frustrating. He wants my friends to battle the potholes.
God will deal with his attitude.

My cancer buddy is failing fast. Marjean took Wes to oncologist today and got the bad news that they cannot do anything for him as treatment would kill him faster. He gave him 3 months so our prayers are for no suffering and a peaceful journey home. He still is walking around although he is tied all the time. I'm glad she has church people to give her comfort. I wish she wasn't so far away from me. She won't be able to do it on her own and I do hope they have hospice in her area. She really needs their help. She has a grandson who just came home from a 2 yr. mission for the Mormon church and I think he will be a lot of help for her.

Oh Pegi, the anguish you must be feeling now, not being able to be with her.
Definitely will pray for strength for the family and an easy, pain free transition for Wes.
She's fortunate to have that grandson, I am sure he'll be there for them.

Today again, Kelvin started screaming that he wished he's dead.. he cannot stand to be in this world.
instead of keeping quiet and let Kel just mouth it off and btwy, he expected me to shout back.. the usual.. go ahead.. kill yourself. Then he'd gloat.
Nope, this time I reminded him that his cousin Glenn would love to be in his shoes.. Glenn is 34, has a young son, but can't be with his family. His wife puts him in a nursing home when he became a paraplegic after a bad accident.

I am sure, Wes would love to switch place with Kelvin.

Morning everyone. I am home, I got home about 6 last night. I saw the surgeon, and after range of motion test, which sent me through the roof, he thinks maybe my hip problem is my back, so I was sent for anther MRI on my back, and I have to go back in 2 weeks for those results. He was telling me he likes to try and treat things with injections, and I looked him in the eye, and told him there will be no more injections, I have had enough of them and they do not work. I broke down and was crying, and I was so hoping to get a surgery date, but he tried to tell me it will only be a few more weeks for the MRI results and soon after that for surgery. I told him I have been fighting this pain for 4 years, I need relief now. Needless to say, I left there pretty MAD!

Pegi, I am sorry to hear of Wes not doing well, I will be saying prayers for him and all the family.

OH LK. I'm hurting for you. What part of "I am in charge of my own body" doesn't this doctor understand?
