I just got my MasterCard. They sent it to my bank branch by regular mail - on Tues night, and branch received it Tues am.
When I walked into the branch, I was greeted by name, and she said the whole branch knows the sad story and recommends I send a letter to Mastercard and reference the bank branch.
Their Branch Manager is not happy with MasterCard

When I got home last night, I got a voicemail (no, Bob doesn't retrieve voicemail lol - I'm the family "secretary" lol) from the Utility company (electricity & fuel), saying I was being disconnected for non-payment!! I'm guessing that neither Ker nor Mike has accepted that they are responsible for the utilities now at the last place we lived at......
I called at the end of June, telling utility company I was no longer responsible for the utilities. We don't pay for utilities here, so I didn't need to "move" the acc't. Then, when we were going to move back to the mobile, I called the utility company to ask if I could get my old acc't reinstated for the address I had for 9 years previously (if I don't, and start a new acc't, I have to pay "start up" fees and that can be costly).
I'm on musical hold now, waiting to talk to the utility company.
Susan, hope they agree to reinstate your old account, that shouldn't require a deposit.
Well, Ida called again and said he's banned from her property.
If she sticked to that promise, he'd just spend more time on the streets.
Pretty sad, your own mother bans her son from the house.
Susan, I hope you give master card a piece of your mind.
Looks like he's really put his foot in it this time. Although if Ida thinks this will bring him to heel, he just might be stubborn enough to hang tough....at least until he's living in his car.
Karen, Ida is thinking of taking the truck back. Then he'd have both feet in doodoo.But I know it's just talk, for she's still mama, and with the other son cutting ties completely, Kelvin is all she has left.
oh, I will - MasterCard denied us our card by being incompetent, and telling us story and story after story, and none of them based on facts.
The bank and Westjet were stellar, which made MasterCard look all the more lacking in customer service skills.
