I spoke to my neighbour who went through the house this morning (nothing more had been done since Kristen saw it) and she said she not only didn't know that Kristen hadn't taken the place, but she said she Always washes the freshly washed walls when she comes into a place. She agrees - Kristen was rude, and she doesn't know her - it's a friend of a friend of her daughter's. Said she feels like changing her name after hearing what Kristen said. We've paid the rent here, but we're on the "hook" for rent on the old place....... where to find it?
I've posted the place on Kijiji.ca, and some other people are looking around for a good, steady renter for us.
After sitting through three hours of self-congratularory crap about all they are doing to deal with/prevent abluse, I got up to speak and LOST IT> I ranted about their hypocracy. Pointed out I'd giventhem aa list of abusive behaviors by THEIR retirement board two weeks ago and non of them had done anything. I ranted. Right through the three minute buzz to tell me my time was up. Locked yes with the black man who is on the retirement board and talked about abuse being contagious. Said I didn't know why the retiremnent person had screwed up my IRS but IRS is soldly on my side to try to fix his maistakes. Ranted more. I pointed out that this is my retirement association that I paid in to. They are here because of me, not the other way around. I Pounded the floor with my cane and, looking at the board member said if you call, they hop to it. I call and say oh it's another god%%% retiree. how can we get rid of her. The man in charge told me my time was up. I said I"ll be back and left.

I said they had a lot of nerve to talk about abuse for three hours after ignoring my full page documentation of abuse of their retirement association. It wasn't vinegar. It was righteous anger. You talk the talk but you don't walk the walk and I'm calling you on it. I cried about the iRS stuff because I dont' know why the Acting Director did what he did (I have an idea, but that's different). It looks like, and was, needless persecusion.
I had one good idea which I may use later - photo bomb their publicity photos!! I had the perfect opportunity to do it and could hardly contain myself.

Amma will be in San Ramon starting tomorrow. Not sure when I will be back here but don't worry if it's a few days. I'm in meltdown mode right now. Will be thinking of all of you so keep your hearts and minds open for a divine presence - that will be Amma, not me.

Don't remember who asked about Bob getting a tetanus shot from his Dr (was it you, katie?) but you only need one if it's been more than 10 years since the last one - it has been much less.
A humid and 'impending' rain/thunder stormy day.
DH and myself are off with 2 of the dogs to the groomers, Lorna will be taking a rain day and staying home with Zoey and Smokey .. as well, we are supposed to be getting our driveways paved today, pretty sure they can't do that I the rain ..
Katie, I applaud your tenacity .. I don't know where all this is going, but, I sure do hope there is a positive resolution somewhere down the line.

My appointment is at 9 am tomorrow morning. No it is a different type injection.
The one I got last week, helped for several days. This one is a much deeper type of injection, they are going to put me in a twilight sleep, and I have to have my son with me to drive me back to his place.
Ouch, worth the ouch if it works right?

Accidently left the light on in my van yesterday. When Michael noticed last night the battery was dead. He worked late so I'm waiting for him to wake up and charge the battery.
Did not sleep much so I'm having coffee and reminding myself that I'll see Amma when she wants me there, not on my schedule.
Still kind of in meltdown from yesterday. Don't know if you can imagine how I felt, having documented so much emotional abuse and to have it just ignored. Which is more abuse. Which is probably why I'm crying.
However, the tears of frustration will pass and I'll figure out the next step.

Debbie, like me, you have to figure out what to do to keep moving and not stay in a painful spot. I'm picturing all of us with sticks whacking the heck out of you H (notD) but you are the one who has to take care of you. Knowing that all of us will do whatever we can to help but you are the one who has to decide how to move ahead.

Waiting to hear from the couple who viewed the mobile home yesterday - they said last night, or this morning they would let me know their decision. Had 2 others want to view the home. One has an app't for Saturday at 1pm. He sounded rather........ hmmm...... like he was on drugs? The address is in the ad, but he wanted to put a "1" in front of the # and couldn't remember if it was 1pm or 3pm to meet. Plus the fact that with the vacancy rate of 1% he isn't dashing to see the place - willing to wait until the weekend for a property that's to be let for June 15th.
oh well, appearances can be deceiving.
Just got a call from my BIL Paul, found it strange i hadn't heard from Suzanne today, usually by noon she's called me at least twice, she is the midland hospital waiting to be transported to Newmarket..she has had a heart attack. Prayers pkease
Also, Darlene hadn't been feeling well in Florida and when she got home not the best at times also, went for results of all her tests, yep she too had a heartache..just spoke with her, her doc appt is 17th for Doppler and few other test to decide what to do

Back from the hospital, just before I left her room in intensive care the nurse came in, Suzanne needs to be in Newmarket for 9am Friday so they will take her early morning..she wanted to go home and wait, hope, staying right there.
Stopped at a roadside stand and got fresh picked strawberries, small but yummy
Called Greg, he was out, told him I bought a TV could he drop in if not tonight then tomorrow to take out the old one..it weighs a ton, told him to bring someone with him

In order it happened, not importance:
1. got our place rented via kijiji.ca - lovely young couple with a baby who'll be 1 in August. Rent as of June 15
2. Alice & I talked on the phone - she was in hospital for 1 week (home now). They think either it's her brain tumour, or a stroke - she was talking oddly, not making much sense. They say she hasn't much time left. A month ago they said "3 to 6 months".......... still on that timeline. Alice says she will make sure to make the most of this summer - a Winnipeg Summer, to be sure..........
