Good Morning Ladies,

Thank You LK that means a lot. Sure wished we all lived closer so we all could help each other out. But I don't think mom had the stomach flu. I think it was acid reflux flaring up. Between one bowling league ending and another one starting(stressed out) and her not eating like she's supposed to cause it to flare up. I think this because she was complaining of her stomach hurting

Not much going on here today have some weed eating to get done. The Hens have settled in and we are getting 3 - 4 eggs a day!!

Susan you have got a lot on your plate!

still not 100% but almost there.
can't wait to get back to normal

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sure hope your Mom is feeling better soon Cindy.
WOW! 3 eggs a day? Pretty soon you can start selling them?

Sue, glad to hear you are on the mend. Don't over do it, and get a relapse!

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Mmmmm fresh home grown eggs are the best.

A neighbor said his mom was moving would we like her chickens & coop. We said sure and a few days went by. When we asked again he said "Oh she decided she wanted $100. for them. We said no thanks, can buy a lot of eggs for $100.

I just heard on the news there was an earthquake in Michigan, and it was felt down to NW Ohio. Anyone here feel the quake?

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

My daughter said she did and she's way across state from it.. It was near Kalamazoo. 4.0

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I sure hope no one got hurt.

4.0 isn't to big a quake. Mostly a shaker upper . Things fall off shelves , people may fall down or stumble. I can't imagine much damage. Hope that helps rest your minds. :)

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

Cindy revellie revellie I am a he not a she lol.

I have started planting my tomatoes I have about 20 in and about a hundred to go. All of this and I can't eat tomatoes or peppers. Oh well I guess I will have happy friends.

I am watching the graduate what a breath of fresh air. Not one gun or 105 pound woman pushing a 300 pounder against the wall and put zip ties on his wrist lol. Anyway Dustin Hoffman and mz s Ross were superb. Actually they were all great and the music is just awesome

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hey Ernie. Sounds like you will have a lot of friends with all those tomatoes your planting.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Tomatoes were taken off my list of what I can eat, but guess what? I will endure the tummy pains to eat a garden fresh tomato...probably more than once this summer.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

omg .......... stressing....... now Ker wants us to move in the end of May, or he's going to put it in the paper. With vacancy at 1%, he'd get it rented, no problem.
In the meantime, we haven't heard from Jennifer as to whether she will rent, and she needs to give one month's notice....... in order to move into our place.

Susan don't you think that is a bit rash of him to change this on you ? You can only do so much. Didn't you guys have an agreement already ? ...
feeling much better
went to store with kids. felt good to get out.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

new place - furnace needs cleaning, and they need smoke detectors. We have that, with our current place....
yes, the landlord needs to get smoke detectors.
btw - Mike does NOT smoke - yaaaaaaay - cuz neither do we lol

siiiiiiigh - so tired - really started packing in earnest - we move in less than 4 weeks, and I've been blessed with someone to help me pack on Wed, and someone who will help Bob move, on May 30th.
It's our neighbours in the Park - I asked, and two replied - yaaaaaaay! One will come by on Wed afternoon to help me pack, and the other one will be here on Sat the 30th.
I didn't make dinner tonight (too brain tired), and so Bob went to the new place, to work on the floors.
I think I'll go to Subway and get us both some subs.
I am at the Polls all day tomorrow, so I need to get some food ready. I'll be there from 8:30 am to 9pm - lots of stuff to drink & eat, plus a freezer pack should do.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Good Morning Everyone,

Took my candles to the local nursery and they bought $132 worth yay. If I would of had more Spring and Summer scents I think they would of bought more. But don't know how well they will sell, gal marked up double from what I sell them for yikes....I would not pay $19.99 for a 12 oz, but Oh Well that is there problem lol Plus I sold a couple of things on the Auburn Yard sale FB site. But nobody interested in any of the crafting stuff :( I take mom and some of her lady friends to Carson City for their annual bowling tournament. I have a feeling this will be Mom's last year due to her eyesight :(

Now that I have the back yard looking good it's time to work out front. The weeds are over 2 feet tall yikes!!!

I wished I would of found this place sooner I would of taken mom there to visit. An Iris farm!!! Check out the beauties. I am going to add a few to my gardens :)

Hope you all have a blessed day

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Cindy, those are beautiful, and the prices are not bad either.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

I know LK, I am ordering some LOL When I moved from Marysville I left all but two of my prettiest Iris' behind :( And knowing Doug and the others that live there they won't water anything. Wished I could go back and dig all the rest of my flowers up.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

went to motor vehical to register the boat we bought. they forgot to charge me the sales tax, so I saved 200 dollars. they charged me 30 registration fee.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Yeah on the savings, what kind of boat?

Cindy, I can't wait to see them in bloom for you!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

a saltwater boat. holds 4-6 people. big enough for me and Michael.
we plan on taking it to mobile over memorial day weekend

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

I have boat on a trailer sitting in my driveway that no one wants. DH was going to put a motor in it, etc., but never did. Now I want the eye sore out of my sight. I'm so disappointed that he left me with so much junk to get rid of. Maybe I should put a sign on it that says, "TAKE ME FOR FREE". Great on no sales tax, boy how did they mess that up. LOL

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Turn it into a flower planter.

well my busy week turned into a not so busy. ?
went and got savannah's goat for her 4 H project.... then goat food. Drove 35 miles for this food ack ? ! so it took me most part of the day.
Susan glad you have help coming in to pack with you. Always a good thing.
i grew up with canoe's :) that is all i know about boats LOL . Sound like fun for you and Michael.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

back home from working at the polling station..... so tired. 8am to 9:30pm....... Very steady & busy.
If our station is any indication, the fellow I voted for will get in.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I am here, mind going through a lost forest and if I stopped long enough, I am afraid the big bad wolves will get me.
But been keeping very busy during the days. Forcing my body to move via weeding, setting up daylilies and more weeding.
I can only handle mindless tasks, and it is not that I am avoiding you all, but I am trying very hard not bring any more Kel dramas here. It is not fair on my sisters.

Will make a new room .. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1393507/
