Oh you poor Ernie! You'd be hopping for a while, and don't jitterbug!
Kel's father had some misfortune with ortho shoes. He thought they'd be like regular shoes, but caused his ankles to swell up and colored so bad that 'readjustment' was needed.
For your own good, the staff agreed you need extended round the clock pro care.
9 more days to go till you'd be with your bride and then you can see her better and do the jitterbug!! :D

Got plenty of hypo needles. Thinking of adding the scent to his perfumes that he hid in the side pocket of the truck.
What other pranks can I do? Burnt offerings.. did that..
Lolol..

Prayers go to all, and may this week be kind to us.

Ernie - at least you're not in the "horse-spittel" lol
Nasty, re: turned ankle! Well, as Jaye says - soon you'll be back with your bride. All's for the best.

Jaye - you're sure getting some suggestions re: skunk urine LMAO omy!!!!!!!!!!!!! gave me my guffaw for the day!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

here's an "urban legend", but I'm sure I saw this in a movie........
http://sfglobe.com/2015/01/08/a-woman-gets-revenge-on-her-ex-husband-and-his-young-girlfriend/
it's not something you could do however, Jaye......

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Lolol.. I shared that on FB! Oh that's a nice revenge.
Thanks Susan!

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

All those ideas sound good, I really like the one of injecting some "smell" in his perfume. Ernie's idea was really good too, but hoping you don't have to use his truck any time soon.

Just put 3 bags out for thrift store pick up. I can always find more things to start another bag. Ran out of coffee creamer so that means a trip to the store, should have learned to drink it black. Don't know why Walmart doesn't carry the kind I like so wouldn't have to go very far, each day I get a little lazier.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

does Kel read your FB, Jaye?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Yes he does, Susan.
But it's selective reading!! Lolol.
Synda has slammed him on his own FB page, don't know whether he likes them or not, but at least his other FB friends know what a worm he is.
Me... I be the nice one since Synda's brave enough to be the bad gal.

Walmart has increased the rental shelf prices. Only the major companies could afford to sell there. WM is also doing that to promote its own brand, Pegi.
Sad.. another way to brand America, Walmart.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Jaye, go to pinterest, and search for April fool jokes.... Lots of good ideas

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

So sorry Ernie that you have to stay 10 more days ......I'm sure they are looking out for your best interest ! I know a turn ankle is a bummer ,but I bet if you hadn't gotten mamed you would be trying to escape on foot ...LOL .

LOL ...That's right Jaye ,Synda is not afraid .It's a very good thing that I am so far away ,I would get right in his face and ask him what the hell was his problem ....and follow him like his shadow ! My dad learned the hard way that I could holler just as loud ,I knew more words ,I could think faster and had more stamina than him !He'd try to walk away and I'd be right on his heels .And when he started hitting mom I'd jump right in and grab him and say, if you're going to hit someone ,hit someone that will hit you back and the fight would be on !

Susan I do hope you are feeling better !

All I have wanted to do today is sleep ....weather must be going to change .Weird how the fibro can affect the body in different ways .

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Wish we were all closer, we would gang up on Kel, and he would not know what hit him!

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

That is right Linda Kay !!!!!!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

I'm afraid I can't yell at Kel cuz my voice is gone to a whisper (swollen glands / raw), but I could sure melt him with a dirty look LOL I may be small, but I'm mighty!!! (in person lol) He wouldn't know what hit him
I'm not as brave as Synda though, on FB - Good For You, Synda!!
I'm going to rest on the couch right now - worn out from being up 3 hours......
time to sit quietly and knit

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

That's okay Susan! I can do the shouting!
Too funny sisters.. I can visualize us ganging up on him! One thing he won't do is physically retaliate, for he'd lose his job.
If my family were here, even the ones from La., his ass is toast.
His ex' didn't have the support of her family, so he got away breaking hers and the kids' hearts.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

How is your mouth healing Jaye?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Healing well LK, one side is okay, now waiting for the left gum where three teeth are pulled.
I took a pic of forsythias growing, and then I realized without the automatic setting, I can no longer 'sharpen' any image manually. Right cataract has removed that privilege.
Med for cataract.. so touted as beneficial.. ordered online at 40 a vial, came in today. Kel had hesitated to order it for me for months, but he relented when he realised that in July, if I failed my dl test, he'd have to chauffer me around. He still doesn't want to be seen with me.
He's forced to help me hold back the eyelids as I'm not supposed to blink for a minute.

Thank you so much for your prayers LK.

That is a hysterical story. !!! Oh if you only new what i use to do to Jessica's dad....
not much going on here.
Susan hope you get to feeling better soon.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Tell us Sue.. tell us!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Glad to hear you got some meds for your eyes Jaye.

Sue, please tell us what you did?

it involves a toothbrush and a toilet.
special liquids and a beer.
that is all i will say.

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh Sue we could be very dangerous together .......LOL

Well it isn't so splendid here ,well at least the weather isn't ! They say we could get an inch !
My poor baby needs a blankie ...... :(

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

tough morning at the gym, 3 miles on the bike, 1 on the tread mill, then my weights workouts,
vacuuming, doing laundry
got a goat for nikki to play with, trodded threw the mud to get to the pasture and shed to feed them.
Michael came home to drop of a trailer, has to leave in the morning, and will be back again on Friday for the weekend.
first day in a week that it hasn't rained.
80 degrees tomorrow, can't wait.

ernie, keep your chin up. the time will go quickly. sending prayers out to you

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hey Kathy. Sounds like you are getting a good workout. Don't over do it.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

how you feeling LK? hope you are doing well

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Doing pretty good, but my back and hip are killing me. The last set of injections did not work. I will go back on April 23rd for a follow up.

(thunder)Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

My back, and hips knows how yours feels LK. Gentle hugs. Starting in my hands now too. Totally sucks.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

So sorry Thunder. maybe someone someday will invent something for this pain!

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Kathy that sounds like more than I could ever accomplish ......good job !

Linda Kay and Thunder I know you pain and feel for you ............Hope and Pray you both are able to get some relief !!

Snow is all gone, supposed to be 40* today ,60* tomorrow and rain and then frigid again into and over the weekend ! Talk about a rollercoaster of weather !

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Sis Kathy, you'd be in a size 8 soon!! Your spirits seem so much better.

Aww Thunder, that breaks my heart to read that the pain is spreading to your hands. You that sew at every given opportunity. Do hope that you and LK soon will find something that will work.

Oh well, sorry to say this Sue and Synda, the weather's perfect for me to clean the front yard. Only the light objects. Like small tree limbs.

Got to give our Lord a shout out!!
Kel didn't go for his interview this morning. Keep praying for one another, He does listen.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Amen to answered prayers.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Amelia told me we needed more strawberry jam so today she & Bumpa had a jam session. Jam is serious business with much tasting involved.

Thumbnail by siliolegma
TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I quit on one tree limb!! Lolol.. scratched my hand, so returned indoors to bring out the pots of new DLs. At least I'm working!!

Yes indeed LK. He loves prayers and will answer them if we are willing to be in His will.

Of course, Karen. Making jam is serious business and you need the approval of qualified testers!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Quality control at its' finest!!!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Hi - I'm here, I'm much better. Just not talking yet....... whisper, whisper.......

Heading out to Michael's, to get some more wool - ALMOST finished the baby blanket - need about 20 more rows, and ran out of wool lol
wrapper said that I would only need one ball for the instructions on the back....... nope! And I tested the gauge........ I could probably take it back one patters (32 rows?!?!?! I think NOT!) and finish it with the seed stitch pattern for last 11 rows, but there's no way I'm giving less than complete, even if no one will know but me :-)
So, I'll have some more of this wool for something else is all! It's variegated green/yellow/white in a soft pastel.

Susan glady our feeling better.
Jaye hooray for answered prayers.
Oh my jam making time. yum. I have tomatoes that need to be salsa.
Synda yes this is crazy weather. snow yesterday. 60's tomorrow. wow
got the St patricks day decorations down and got the Easter ones up.
to many project for spring.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Hello Ladies,

It sucks to get old doesn't it, lol. I think the biggest part of us are all in the same boat with aches and pains. Even though our weather has been nothing compared to what some of you are getting, the cold gets me down real fast, dang it!!! It rained Sunday night and has bee a little cold but boy it sure made my Arthur flare up :( We all need a HOT TUB!!! lol

Did get some plants in the ground, planted some Walla Walla Onions about 30, and 4 zucchini squash. I have Kale, Spinach, Beets, and a bunch of flowers I planted from seed all poking their heads up, yay!!!!

I have been digging up all my flowers from the house in Marysville. Not sure what is going on, but we got a notice saying that come Dec they will not renew our lease??? It's very confusing, because we were trying to buy it, then the owner says he changed his mind but then in the notice we get the guy says he's still looking for an end buyer who will want to rent to us? So I don't know what is going on. But I'm not waiting until the last minute, so I will be going back down next Tuesday and dig up more stuff. I already dug up a bunch and planted them in my daughter's flower garden. Sure hope they survive. I've never dug up plants that are half way through their growing stage. I need to get my favorite lilies next week, but they are over 2 ft. tall, hope they survive being transplanted.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

oh Cindy - that's terribly confusing, isn't it?
I"m sure your plants are a bit confused too - looks like you both may be "pulling up roots" - plants & humans.......

I was pleased to see the trees here are budding!! yaaaaaaaay Spring is on the way!!

Just got home from Michael's where I told the clerk I wasn't happy with a particular ball of yarn & the wrapper pattern that I got from them. I made 3 sample swatches to confirm gauge, and finally went with a different size knitting needle than what it said, to get the correct gauge.
Today, as I'm 27 rows from finishing, I ran out of wool, and it said it would just need 1 ball of yarn to make the pattern on the wrapper........
The clerk at the store said to contact the manufacturer directly (it's Michael's - their Loops and Threads), so I'm just sent them an email.
As I'm making this for sale, it doesn't look like I'll make anything on it.
Thing is, it's a 32 row pattern, and I have 7 patterns to make. Taking it back one pattern would make it 1/7th shorter than it's supposed to be and that's just not right. It's like saying your 7' long quilt should be 1 foot shorter....... wouldn't look right at all.
Anyway, not sure it will do any good, but at least their quality control of patterns should be looked at more carefully.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

good work out at the gym. I am sore, but no pain no gain

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear you were short of yarn Susan.
Sounds like you doing good Kathy, keep it up!

Morning everyone!

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Good Morning everyone! After punching holes in bottom of small plastic containers with an awl my son informs me he could have done that with the drill press. Now he tells, saved me a lot of work! Going to plant some seeds in my little containers, should have done that around Feb. So off to play in the dirt.
