I am back from Rochester. Shane and I had some errands to do so he supervised me.
Was nice when we left, but snow and cold on the way back home.

I was on 40 mg furosomide/lasix and he raised it as it wasn't doing anything. He wanted to go ahead and do the Angio....but I convinced him to wait til blood work came back and two weeks on the meds to let them work. Up until 3 week ago, I would take a 40 mg and be running like you said for two hours. Now, not much of anything.

Wasn't "religious" about taking the meds this week because some days I was out getting DSs teeth taken care of and other appointments needed. SO, from today on.....I am really trying hard to stay on the regimen.

Debbie .. I guess you know your body best .. you may get leg cramps from taking that much Lasix .. just be on the look out for 'frothy, sudsy, sputum when you cough.

Junk food weekend sound PERFECTO Sue .. Lorna and I played cards yesterday and polished off a half a family bag of BBQ chips .. doubtless the rest of the bag will disappear today!

Doing laundry, reading the paper, love it as it's online now ..plan to get outside and clean up sunflower seeds .. never again will we have the birdfeeder INSIDE the dog compound !!

M, I have this cough, but it only happens when I lay down. I don't know if it is from the meds or what. Gave DH the what for, that I need to "melt into the couch" and take these meds this week before I go back to doctor. Hands are swollen, tight skin and shiney. Not good.

Really having a hard time with the dog too. Bad mistake. I was not ready. Now DH & DS are totally in love with him, me....nope. :/ I think the fact he is after the cats all the time is the issue.

You are under stress. Most likely if you were feeling better you could cope with the dog and it's antics.

I agree with Karen .. I almost sent wee Zoey back to her family as, at the age of 6yrs, she was totally oblivious to what CATS were .. and here is 20yr old frail Smokey .. I finally had to let HIM teach her a lesson !!
They are now buds, she worries about him on his down days ...
I have to agree though, the stress of that is pretty tough ..

HOUSE work is finally completed, Lorna is out holding the ladder for DH (the FOUND ladder), our woodstove is misbehaving, so, he has to go up there and see what's up .. luckily we have natural gas backup for heat.

Made a batch of Oatmeal bran cookies, we were all enjoying a couple when it hit me .. BRAN !!! Something tells me we're gonna fighting for the bathrooms !! I had actually made them because Lorna is on a high dose of codeine .. anyway .. oopsie :-)

Should go out and join the ladder party, but, it's only 18F with a cold NW wind making it more like about 10F ...... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

aw sorry to hear about the dog. I think it because of your health too...and maybe a bit about not being ready. I felt the same after Skittles, but let the guys take of dog stuff until your better.

I have only worn my dress 2 other times. I danced in a couple of pow wow's.
Thank You everyone for your input. I told DH and he was all for it too. Barbara, The second formal is when I will wear it. It falls on the 11th. Our actual anniversary is the 12, and we Disembark, and fly home that day.

So, I've just been plain busy all week, so today I really did things in s l o w w motion.
Mostly spent time going through pictures again, marking cds and envelopes. OMG it's a monumental task, and that's just the phase 1 of the project and lol, only the photo's found upstairs.

Ah ha, just knew I missed someone, Linda kay, took a photo of my table during the sort session! lol...today did a bit research to remind me of some of the lost info. Worked pretty well.
now just to get the right photo discs! The ones I have are incomplete.
But anyway! Everyone, Can you believe I just told DH about the stories...I mean he knows I loke to write, but he never heard or read, so last night I read him the Story of the day! And then I started reading from the Italy trip...He liked them!! And he gave me some really good input. Well tonight, we finish the Italy trip...lol then he can help me remember too.

Anyway, Linda Kay, I am so glad the injection are working, yep praying it continues for a long while! Glad your are home too.

Oh and I played with Pegasus for quite a bit of time today.
OMG, lol he was hopping and running for me, so I bent down and scooped him up under the wings. I tossed him up like you would with a toddler. He LOVED this! He was screeming and we winged around the great room. He performed some acrobats for me, how fun...lol he wore me out.

I'm soooooo sick - started last night as I went to bed - felt wretched
This morning throat so sore I couldn't gargle, let alone talk. Aches, but no fever. Bad cough, but not often.
Taking neo citron, ColdFX, Calmylin with codeine (cough syrup) and had soup for lunch and supper. Otherwise I've been on the computer a total of half hour, and been alternating between bed and the couch.
Going to watch balance of CatWoman with Halley Barrie, then go to bed for the night.......

I always say, 'don't bump yer head' .. DH and yself were on a cruise once and I banged my head on one of the 'bunk bed' set ups .. ended up in sick bay for a bit .. we upgraded to a full cabin after that, and, the doc felt so bad for us (I had a huge bruise on me bean) that he requested we be upgraded a class as well .. quite poshy poo that LoL

I have 3 sets of Corning dishes, one with shamrocks :-) .. one with hearts and flowers, and one with just a lacey pattern with flowers .. 2 sets were gifts .. and, I have my Moms corning ware casseroles with the blue flower on them .. hard to come by here ..

"M", I am afraid the last shots are not working, as I woke up yesterday and today, sore. So, I will just have to grin and bear it for a bit, because I am not ready for surgery! I have Vicodin to take, but have to wait till bed time to take it, as they make me so loopy! So far, non of the anti inflammatory meds have worked.

Soldier has the owie, not the Sailor. Last I heard was Tuesday. He was at hospital for x-rays. They never called me back. I'm Po'd NOT calling him.

Sailor went back home Friday.
I have a few days to read, to catch up. At work, break. I'll check in again at lunch.

feeling weak as a kitten. Bob will get meds after church when he & Doug go shopping, so I'll have them around 2 to 3pm this afternoon

Joanns and Cracker Barrel treated me well lol

Lordy sure is nice having quiet time

Ran the tub, going to get in jammies then enjoy looking at my goodies

Found enough yellow/Frey toned fabric to make a edged periwinkle quilt, white/black fabric,lots of thread,few no sew blankets (I always need a gift), even bought a flower arrangement for back deck in Orange, got to think spring! Seems the magic $$ to spend at Joanns is between $200-$300. MUST stay away from there for a bit before I'm in the poor house..
Mom gave me $150 for my birthday that helped.

Tried 4 tops at Cracker Barrel, none seemed to either fit or look good on me, all were yuk, did buy a few new watch bracelets and a grater light for the kitchen

Now look at these sweeties..

So amazing to see them doing so well.

Spent a good part of the afternoon outside with the dogs .. it was a bout 35F and very nice in the sun.
Dogs are loving the return of grass .. and I was busy placing 'mothball packets' around the gates to ward off SKUNKS .. we'll see if it works .

Lorna was playing for one the last times in her old Mule, her new one should be here this week .. there was a rip in the roof piece and they are replacing it ..
She raked and raked, will no doubt be sore tomorrow ..

Made a hash brown/ham casserole for supper,, off to make salads ..
