Glad to hear you got your meds and that the faucet is fixed. Isn't it funny how Kel doesn't want to do things for you but doesn't want anyone else to do it either. Is there any one thing that is really pressing that he won't do? If so, I'd ask for someone else to do it and not mention it to Kel. Then when you don't ask him to do it or he notices that it is taken care of, just tell him you handled it. Just don't tell him how!!!! That ought to get his goat!!! Without you being bitchy in any way.....

Thanks Jaye - I'm getting excited for her to arrive - TOMORROW just about supper time.
Tonight Bob will bring over the motorhome, so she'll have her privacy and comfort. I'll just do a run-through to make sure she has everything she'll need there, but she'll of course eat & have coffee with us/me. Bob's working every week day, so having her sleep on the couch would just put her in his "prep area" each morning - that won't work :-) The motorhome will!

After seven days in the horsepital I am reqreating at the club med. I find nursing home life almost on a par with hospital life.

I am obviously better but still suffer a continual upset stomach.

Turns out no big D for me my kidneys shut down because some kind of crystals formed inside th wait t0em.

I cant to getget home with my bride od 48 years fast enough.

I miss 007 the great gun dog I have she is daddys girl. Linda says she has become quite needy and Linda says next time I come to the joint 007 is coming with me. Do uou suppose they would allow her here ha ha .

Hang in there Ernie. Drink as much water as you can to get everything working properly. You will be going home soon.

Dogs and cats are often allowed and encouraged in nursing homes. Just being around furries helps people feel better - proven fact!

My last visit to my doctor (retiring on April 24th) and I'm sure going to miss him. He said they would send a list of doctors out to choose from. Hoping I won't need to see one for a long time.
He does want me to have a chest x-ray because I'm still having a few pains now and then, which he said could be from my hiatal hernia. Also a mammogram. which doesn't thrill me. Guess to make sure nothing serious is going on. They can't seem to stop telling you to drink lots of water.

Glad you don't need D Ernie, what a great relief. Home soon to lovely wife and great dog. When I read that Jaye said to DRINK I was wondering drink what, is there a choice?

If i'm reading this right, Ernie.. crystals are found in your kidneys? Did the doctor says that will lead to kidney stones? You then will be required to stay on a special diet to avoid stones.
Of course the required umpteen litres of water!!

Just checked her flight to Dallas - on time. She has a 1 hour layover in Dallas, and her flight from Dallas to Calgary is also on time.

Dramamine needs to be taken quite a while ahead of time in order to be effective.

Also, thanks for the little history lesson on the Scottish and Irish. Didn't know the different spelling of MacKenzie either, but as you say the Irish love to drink and by the sound of my books I'm reading the Scots do enjoy their drink too.

Took a short walk, omg I thought I would fall down before I got home. I hope I won't be needing a walker that you need 2 hands to push. It was cool out, some people wearing jackets and I'm sweating. I don't need a cane around the house but don't go out without it. My legs do need a good work out.

Please pray for my Grandson Dylan, he was taken to the ER last night, and they said he has Rotavirus. They had to put fluids in him with IVs. He is back home now, but still not doing very well.

Praying for your DGS Dylan........ I know you're scared, but he wouldn't be home if he wasn't doing well enough to come home. I haven't a clue what rotavirus is, so will google it

Poor little guy, Praying for a speedy recovery!

We got some rain today, made it a nice lazy day. Mom and I both are suffering with sever neck pain :( We both had same surgery done on our necks had disc fused together. Mine was caused from too much heavy lifting hers was cause from a car accident. I had been doing to much heavy work in the garden and she spent to much time on the computer. Plus when it rains that helps too :(
