Snowed today and all schools are closed for an inch of snow. Most of the residents will already have fourteen loaves of bread an a can of Spam in their larder!!
Me.. let's say, tube steaks for Kel (don't have to heat, just in case) and cans of smoked mussels, goose confit... oh ya.. a loaf of bread!! Lol!!

Well, I had to clean out the fish pond a little it was full of small branches from yesterday. Plus I've been hauling all the cut up wood to the wood shed. The I was working on the Asparagus bed and the darn roto-tiller quit! A piece on the carburetor broke, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr A friend of mom's JB Weld it but the heat softened up and it came a part again. So I got my little Mantis tiller out and mulched the compost pile really good. I bet the gal next door really loved it she has a new born baby and I think she had a lot of complications with her pregnancy and the birth they is always someone there with her. Oh well, put in some ear plugs :)

My poor daughter is so stressed! First my SIL with his Chron's Disease, at least he is doing a little better, but now my granddaughter has been sick for 4 days with aching joints and running a fever. i think she has Lupus :( it runs in my SIL's family

Look what is in the pond......and here are some Daffodils growing on the hillside that Mom and I didn't get dug up :) So I told her I'm going to pull the weeds round them and trhow in some Wild flower seeds, but I'm going to spray the rest of the hillside with weed killer I don't wan to have to weedeat it and the man that the property belongs to won't do it either especially with the giant Poison Oak that's at the very top.

LK - thank you SO much for letting us know about Karen, that dear lady. Pleased to hear she came through surgery well........ Praying for her, too.

Not sure when she'll be able to get her passport and therefore come her to visit. 2 more days and she goes for her passport app't, on Thurs.

I'm doing more knitting ladies! Working on some "wristers" for her - goes up to the knuckles. Figured, pretty as well as practical. They button up the sides :-)

Cindy - how Gorgeous!!!! I'm sooooooooo jealous! (Not lol but Gosh, it's so wonderful to see green, and beautiful flowers in the dead of winter here. All I see is brown, brown, brown........)

I know, we just are not having a normal California winter, in fact we have not had one in 4 yrs :( Nobody knows how bad we in CA wished we could have some of the snow the East is getting blasted with.

a lot better thanks. I wish the rebel was home but at least my daughter is here. starting to rain aqnd sleet out now. they are saying frezzing rain, then 2-6 inches of snow.

Had my wendsday visit with Tom. Savannah is not feeling well. Her and i just can't seem to get this bug out of us ? just tired and tummy is icky. nothing much just an icky feeling ?
Austins team won ! 31-20 wow. So we play on saturday.....
Tom will come over thursday. For the weekend. Have a nice dinner planned for us all. Reduced meat section had Ribeyes on sale 3 for$ 24.00. Kids and i share one ( we are not big meat eaters and they are pretty big steaks ), Tom gets a whole one to himself , then steak and eggs for breakfast. :) The sale also had Ribeyes packs of two, buy one get one free. Also stocked up on Thomas english muffins. buy one get one free ! and the bagels ! . kids and Tom love them.

Well i don't know why i have Jessica's other family on my FB. Her dad , step mom and some relatives are on my FB, Since the show aired. I saw his comment about it. He and his wife decided not to do it. ok fine. SO he says on his FB. Enough of Sue.F #$%#K her. Then he gives a statement about how they wanted to keep there feeling private.... and how he and step mom loved her ect.... ??? ok fine, no one ever said you didn't ? . no one ever accused you of not loving her ?? . No where on the show did it even say or state that ? nor did it give any inclination . Nor did it talk about you at all ! LOL. Oye *sigh*
so i had enough. I blocked all his family and him. Such a cleansing.
I guess in a fairy tale land i actually thought he and I could be mature adults and make nice ??
guess not .... no loss for me.

Sis Kathy, gumbo weather for us eh? Intermittent snow and now thunderstorms, I had made some shrimp gumbo all for myself. Mobile is like a twin shrimp city to Delcambre in Louisiana. When I was living in BB, I tried to make to the Delcanre Shrimp festival and also the blessings of the boats when shrimping season starts.

It's a bitter day today.
When he left this afternoon for his usual dontknowhat, hurtful words were slammed at me, and I can't help myself but started a one woman pity party. In church this evening, I practically had a boo hoo moment at the altar.. told the Lord, to ease the pain and to deal with Kel.. And He did.

An hour ago, when he got home, I heard cussings so loud that I'm sure the moon gasped.
He had slid on the muddy grounds getting out of his truck, hung on to his truck door which then banged into my parked truck bumper. Not a scratch on the bumper, but...he has a dented, scratched door .When he started complaining, I gladly reminded him that he should thank the Lord, could be worse.
We'll see if he can find the money to replace the door. He kept saying he sure won't look good driving that truck!!!! Lolol... see... Cookie.. he has changed.

He keeps forgetting that vengeance is God's.

I'll have a wonderful sleep and Kel is right now going through prices for a second hand Chevy truck door!!

Sue, I don't know if I can make it to the gather. Middle of June is my Birthday and we always go to the beach for a long week end. And that is an iffy, it all depends on if the shots I get next week help my back or not. Right now walking is getting pretty tough to do.

Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble LK.. Praying the shot helps....

I can relate to the walking issue though. My breathing doesn't let me walk more than a few yards before I must stop for 5 minutes to catch my breath. Gotten to the point Norm gets me a wheel chair when we go shopping together. Not my idea of fun.....

LK, I go for radio frequency treatment next month. Hope it works better than last time. I know the pain in my hips is getting worse, so I can relate with you. And this cold damp weather doesn't help

I have never heard of that treatment Kathy. I will ask my Dr. about it!
