Is loss of weight a symptom of shingles? So difficult for you to see, makes such strides then slides back.

Snowing and blowing, trying to decide if I am up to a trip into town, less than 10 minutes away but feels so far.

They have a rug with colors that would match my living room set and on a day like today a good old fashion beef stew would hit the spot, just have to convince my body to take the trip

I got home about 9:30 yesterday morning. My shoulder was hurting so bad after the pain dr. got through with his 20 questions of, does this hurt? So i took a vicodin about 1, and slept till 5.

It is still hurting this morning, so i am sitting with an ice pack on my shoulder.

Debbie, I have not missed how you are hurting too. Really so sorry you took a fall. Hopefully you are not in so much pain from it. Bruises lessoning. Oh what a day to have to sit and wait and stew about the squish. lol, had to read that a couple times, I am so glad nothing worse has come of it.

Oh my gosh I can't believe it's been a week now since my house was noisy with children!
I miss them but not the mess, lol...took 1 complete day to get things back in order.
Well just a busy week. I just got so immersed in this laptop, I am learning as I go and have been forced to learning some new stuff, like the cloud thing. Did a test paper and have yet to pull the the cloud from home computer...Steve wants to yank bandage off! In the end , told him it totally up to him. Well see, think he goes to doc onMon or Tues to have a look. But it does look really good....

It has has been a long cold week with only one day of temps warmer than 20* in the future. That is tomorrow when we are supposed to get more snow!!!! Can't win for losing..

Almost have the apartment back to normal. Just waiting for my desk to get here and then I can take down this huge computer desk. Then I start of the quilt room. Anything that we didn't want back in the kitchen or living room ended up there and now it is a jungle. That will be next week's project I think....My SIL came and took the old kitchen set last night so I can at least get in the room now!!! LOL

Haven't done any sewing or knitting or crochet for over two weeks and I'm going through withdrawal I think. Just been trying to read the books on my Kindle on the PC and now Norm says it can be transferred to the laptop!!!! I thought I had to set up a new account. Not so....

Sean is supposed to come tomorrow for a couple of days - school vacation. It will be great to see him and I think Brandon will be home next weekend also. Great whenever we get to see them....

Off to do my nebulizer. Will try to catch up more later.

Glad the Vicodin worked. They work opposite on me, wires me to the moon and back for about 3 hours, but, no pain ..

Betty .. are you getting our storm from yesterday? All tolled we got about 3-4" of snow .. but, the GOOD trade off was better temps ..
I have perogies to pair with ?something? .. I think likely seasoned chicken breasts ..

Going to the dump, of course, that's a given for Saturdays ..
Likely hike out a few items that have been bugging me ..

Shaking my head, Well Wednesday was pretty long and hard.
One big fear happened, DH alone on the job, decided to spend time cutting up pipes and stuff with the grinder again. Cut his thumb, same as last time. This time, he caught the thumb!
Actually hit an artery, 4 stitches to artery and 9 to the skin. Doc said He was very luck not to bleed out...Man he scares the DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME. Yep he discarded bandage.

M, I hope Gord is much better today...

Back from town and visit with Noah and Mel
Still snowing but not stormy

Hardly a soul in Walmart..there were 3 rugs to pick from, bought the one that would be easiest to paint on a floormat for under dining room table..bought fixings for a stew, smells yummy in here, hope you can join me for supper.

Was an emotional morning, simply seeing 2 cruisers driving with sirens on entering town was enough to put me in tears, kept thinking what if it's one of mine.

Dropped into the post office and there was a package from Karen, Taylordaylily ..she had dmail end me saying something was at the post office for both Noah and I..thought I would letNoah open it..don't think he totally grasps how to him strangers can can be so kind..I must say he was overwhelmed, kept telling me not to forget to thank those who prayed.

I received a beautiful prayer shawl and prayer poem, Noah received a prayer shawl, prayer card and beads..no sooner opened up the beads that he put it around his neck..we talked for a bit and both broke out in tears.

Not sure if I mentioned that we have a small community newspaper that comes out every 2 weeks..the last one had an article about stabbing in town, if you were not directly involved you would see that perhaps in poor judgement and being a friend of the mom whose son did the stabbing that she was expressing her sadness for the mom and the young man who likely will never have a life, no home/wife/kids because of one mistake

Kyle was angry when he read it and handed it to Noah, Melanie was not going to show him, there went that idea..Noah got extremely upset and called the lady who wrote a column and said how he and his family will forever be mentally caught in that moment, what happens to the victims?? Well today's issue had a full page article, an apology to victim and his family and a good write-up..Noah was reading it when I left.

Just this mornings excursion has tired me out

Tried to walk my 'thundering herd', but, since the sun is out and the temps are better (still -10F) lotsa cars and trucks up and down the road, so 10 minutes was all they got, and then home for a play in the yard.
Came in to marinate a roast for tomorrow, then it'll be back out once again to give them some freshair (me as well)

Gord is snoozing and Lorna is poking around in her Mule ..
