I sent Katie her present, from Judy. Just checked the tracking # cuz everything else I mailed that day has been received.
Post office couldn't locate Katie's address, so they're returning it to me....... got there on the 11th, and returned on the 13th, so it's well on it's way back to me........
Katie had sent me her address through d-mail, and just now confirmed the address. Don't know why they couldn't find her........

It's just been way too long for her to get it, that's what "gets" me......

I'm going to do as Katie suggests - get the PO to resend it, at their expense!!!!!

My DS and DGs still haven't gotten their Valentines cards mailed within the city on Feb. 9 .. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr .. glad I put NOTHING in'em but love ..

Flippin colder than cold here .. went shopping and poor Lorna about perished going from the parking space at Walmart and into the store! Of course, ALL the handicap spots were taken and most did not have a permit in their window.

Have a funeral tomorrow afternoon .. getting to be a weekly thing !

That time in our life "M" isn't it when main social activity is 'funerals'

I have been so lucky with mailing in USA, find it so expensive mailing from Canada and more so inside Canada..now when stateside I mail Canadian parcels

I've had another heart attack and now Drs. are saying stents are not going to cut it. Waiting now to hear when but will be scheduled this week for by pass. Wishing they would just put me out until I'm all done with it. I have to admit I'm scared.

So sorry to hear that Karen. You've a right to be scared, but we will all be here with you to offer whatever support we can.

Oh Karen, I'm so sorry to hear that, but perhaps it's wonderful news, no more playing around
with stents and taking a chance..don't blame you for being afraid..let's hope they will do it soon..it's the waiting that is the worse and imagining all kinds of things.

Geesh I've had a terrible morning! Got yelled at then did some running booth places a bust.
Had to break up a couple of bird fight, and I mean fights, grrr end up getting bit o the ear.
Had to pay to park and walk over a block anyway was frozen and fell over a stupid snowbank.
cut my hand. Brrr it's freezing only 8* and gusty winds. I need a nap to warm up.

Man, I can't wait for Spring.

On the up side, Well, Julia's Wedding is officially booked!

had a phone call, ladies at fabric shop found it odd I hadn't been in since just after christmas, told them when I got e-mail to say back door isn't working and have to use front door all winter I said 'no go' municipal parking is in the back, means a block and a half walk..then add that the parking was closed off for Winterfest for 2 weeks and NO parking in the area well, just don't need fabric that much.

would image bird fighting could really do mega damage to themselves.

I hadn't planned on even going out today. DH forgot something, asked if I would meet him half way. As we are figuring out where, he misunderstood that I was willing to drive further, otherwise he might as well just drive home, ackkk. We figured it out, so I thought as long as I'm in the City might as well go to the Metro to look at their silk Flowers...they are at the bottom of the barrel until new shipment comes, probably 4 weeks, so fell for nothing! Well could be worse.

On the way home looked for my Tom Thumb store, ta da found it. Wow, what a welcome!! The store moved from Evanston where I worked...Walked in an the owner says hello, she smiled at me and says I haven't seen you in a long time! Gave me a hug. I was shocked, as I haven't been back since I've not worked. lol, introduced myself and said welcome. Told her I'll be back, haha she said I know. Of course I had to buy something. Bought a # 0 liner, smile and wink.

Oh yes Betty, these two get into some serious fights, I think spring and molting is upon us and both are mighty feisty. The other night I had to break them up. Pea had Flo pinned by the neck with his claw. shaking my head, I must be crazy! She is the instigator. This Morning I lost it and told her to Shut the up, and I do not usually say those words..then Breenie is txt yelling to keep them quiet. Hands on the hips, txt yelled right back Ive been keeping them quiet for 3 hours!! at that left the house!

Oh yes, The Wedding is May 15, 2016. You have to book at least 1 year in advance to get the date you want. 2016 is filling up quick. She will be getting married at the The Grove, in the Redfield Estates. Simply Gorgeous! lol and we could walk/crawl home.

Smart thinking on the fabric store, I for sure am wishing I would have circled around, since I'm pretty achy. I am doing a wedding Bouquet for Joyce's Heather. Her wedding is this September.

Can't get much lazier than I, drove to Foodland, bought a cooked chicken, mashed taters ..almost tempted to make one of those lemon cakes, you know the ones you add water and egg, put powder on top and the cake rises over the lemon..have a hankering for something sweet, least I can do is desert

Surgeon was just in,now scheduled for next Tues. He said meds they gave me now have to be completely flushed out which takes 4-5 days. Just wish they would get it over with. They are giving me way too long to think about it.

So you are in the hospital? Is where you need to be right now incase you have another heart attack..no sense me saying 'try not to think of it' as I know if it were I its all I'd be thinking about

Sorry I didn't see this until now. Karen - this is what my David just had done and he is doing so great!!!! It is a serious operation but they have done so many of them now that they truly know what they are doing. David was operated on on a Thursday and went home the following Tuesday. He had five by-passes and looks and feels better than he has in years...

On another note, I'm sorry to tell you all that Callie has crossed over the Bridge. We swore that as long as she didn't appear to be in pain, we would keep her with us. Last night she started to whimper and this morning she started to cry. So we took her in to the vet. She told us it was time......No more pets for us...

Karen, lay back, close your eyes and enjoy the rest. Heart bypass is a walk in the park now. Thy usually do not know how many bypasses until thy get started. I think that is when they do the angiogram and find out where the blockages are.

Karen, you will amazed how much better you will feel. Blessings and angels being sent your way.

Betty we do not mind hearing about your aches and pains. Because if you do not talk about them then your friends here cannot kick your butt and get you moving toward seeing the doctor.

A long strange journey is close. We march to different drummers but finally determined that is OK.

Another beautiful day but the temps are moving down. Highs next week will be in the mid 60s.

I have no appointments for the next 3 weeks. Now if my back would get well, I could kick some of my list to the curb. I had therapy again yesterday and it is better. But DH tried to turn off th alarm this morning and set it off. I was still lying in bed and I jumped and had a pain from hell hit but soon went away.

Got new American Express cards a few weeks ago because of new chips for security. I guess I threw them away in recycle. They kept sending me e-mails so I called and told them I did not get them and they told me that was impossible. They said they were sen in very nondescript envelope. We were also not expecting them. So I am sure they went into recycle. So they are sending new ones by UPS front door delivery.

I got on here to pay some bills before the evening news. You all have a wonerful evening and the blessing of warmer weather.

Barb, so sorry about Callie. She will be met by many friends at the other side of the rainbow bridge.
