I thank God as well for all of you, I remember almost giving up DG, was on a thread that when I'd post of giving, of getting, of kindness, of living in a community one opened their doors for I was called a liar..started this thread days later and never looked back

Got the cards in the mail, went for coffee, had a shower and have made supper .. just kinda coolin my jets for a bit ..
Tomorrow Lorna sees the orthopedic surgeon, has xrays of her R knee lined up .. and, is hoping for a cortisone shot to the R knee
It'll be a long day I think ,, she sure does not want to entertain ANY thoughts re surgery .. and, the ortho surgeon isn't really that crazy about it either, unless it's just a peek a boo with a clean up of some cartilage ..
Went to the cemetery today, the 2 fellas she works with were busy clearing away the snow, and, were so happy to see Lorna .. they're looking forwad to her coming back .. maybe April mid month ..
Her prosthesis is causing her grief, and, now the prosthetist (the ONLY one) won't call back !!!
Very disheartening for her .

DH .. well .. WAZZA WAZZA .. he did lots n lots today .. napping right now .. good to see him coming back to life :-)

Off to start supper, have been marinating a couple of steaks .. for the oven .. could just see me out there BBQing in this wind ... NOT

Noah is doing ok, long road ahead, he told me about the struggle, the knife, his difficulties with 911, thinking he was going to die on the roadside, kept telling 911 name of the boy who was stabbing him..then last night being called by police to say that 2 more were arrested, different charges than attempted murder had him agitated..add having the stitches out well a hard night for sure.

Judy, I am so glad you were able to make the trip, although we took a wrong turn on the way there, we made it safe and sound.
Dad still sings that song, every time I talk to him the phone!
And the food at that German restaurant was soooo good!

great memories for sure..I bought those panels and you guys got me the chenille cutter for being a good tour guide..got home and did it the next day..it sits in my craftroom..

Jacob walks in from school, does his settle in, comes to the office window and says happy birthday, i got you something. So I practically skipped to the great room, he goes into his room and returns, hands me two programs, one is the internet security, the other is Microsoft office-Office program!! I said, well I don't have a computer, He says yes you do, Laptops yours. My mouth fell open!!

OMG, my very own laptop!! lol, I'm waiting for David to come and Load it up for me.

Threw a goodly bit of wood from the pile into the carport today. It is very difficult for me to trudge through the snowbanks around the main wood pile. At least this way Diesel can help me tote it into the house.

Barb do you and Norm have a ticket in the $500 million power ball? I listen/ watch to the news from Boston. When I see the weather I always look to see what's happening in NH. WCVB is the station I watch.

All 3 of the boys are asleep on the bed.... something is wrong with this picture. I have been very thankful for the heat that Diesel and Chaos give off these last few days. For some reason I haven't been able to keep warm since the weekend. Diesel puts out as much heat as my heating pad.

Blackie is still at the vets. We pick him up in the morning.

Here they come home the same day and without the cone. Years ago they stayed over the first night and came home with a cone. Neither Diesel or Duke slowed down 1 iota. Chaos is still too young.

I am officially crazy. Spent 12 hours + trying to get onto my computer (requires me to have a password, I did some windows updates and it required restart and putting in my password. Can't remember it......makes me change it every month).
Because I couldn't get into Windows, I couldn't get into email (couldn't remember That pass either, nor DG's).
I got onto FB because they would text me a message to get my password reset.
I'm on Bob's computer now, and don't like it..... I Want My Own Computer settings........ (pout)

btw - still not on my own computer - makes me feel so stupid!

This is from Judy's trip east in 2011. Can't believe it has been this long!!!! These were taken at Lake Winnisquam which is where "On Golden Pond" was filmed. What a great day we had. Toured the area and had a barbeque at the house and I let Judy raid my quilt room!!! LOL

Tallulah, I have a problem with remembering passwords too and it drives me crazy when you have to think of a new one that hasn't been used before, 8 characters, an upper and a lower letter, a special character, aaargh! I use an old address book and try to remember to write the new one in it every time it gets changed. The pages are replaceable so I'm good for at least another few years, LOL!

Betty, you make such beautiful sleep totes! It's great that your kitty appreciates your work and finds it so cozy!

Terri, omg those are works of art..don't think they are cotton, more high end fabrics..sure wish my machines could easily sew through leather/ultra suede etc..nice to try one but not for me..are they made by local artisan?

Well it is still snowing.M I thought you promised to keep it. It started late afternoon and hasn't stopped. Still thankful I don't live in Mass.

Oh LK Blackie is going to be so happy to see you and then go home to Luna. It is amazing how much they can miss each other.

Choas climbed up the stairs on Tues - that's a first. I take the boys downstairs or play outside when the cleaning lady is here. He won't go down them yet but that will come. Another first just now - I am so proud and thankful ... Duke squeezed out the door when I put Chaos out. He stayed right here and came when I called him. Usually he would be in Nova Scotia before you could turn around. This being a big brother must be making him feel more responsible.

Most of my passwords are the same or very similar and I have them written down in a notebook. The only ones I keep in a safe place are for sites like my bank that have to be kept secure.

Today is an extremely cold day 2F. I knew it was coming so made a quick trip to JoAnn's yesterday. Think I have enough to keep me out of mischief today and maybe even tomorrow.

Blackie is home, and so glad to be snuggled on the sofa with Luna. He is still pretty medicated, so hopefully he will rest today.
