More toys for you, Sis Kathy? Now, you need to sprinkle the Polaris with holy water so you'll always have a safe ride :D Glad to see you on the upbeat.

Cookie, I remember Riley, but wasn't there another before Moxie, Bella, Smokey and Fifi?
You're on your way to take my crown Cookie!!

Cindy, we can feel your enthusiasm for your vision to have a perfect garden. Looking good those trees, and I would like to have a redbud in my yard.
On top of that, you have firewood and mulch.
I don't think you'd be moving away from your new Eden.

It's been a long time since I had put on my dancing shoes, Sue. About 15 years. Last time was in New Orleans to ring in the New Year.
Looks like Tom sure knows how to make you happy.

So glad that you won't incur any out of pocket expense, Susan.
Bet you can't wait to be behind the wheel of your old, new car!

LK, aren't you glad you're living in a snowless city? The extreme cold won't help your arthritis and hip.

Barb, where are you??? Praying you're okay.

Ernie, to D or not to D ... life is precious, and if you're offered the gift of extending it, and as much as you enjoy life and your family, I'll grab the treatment. Still, it's your choice, and I will respect that.

Attempting to write this once. Hope it will post the whole thing!! Lol.

Snow is called for tonight. Thank God the outside cats still can find refuge in Kel's workshop.

Waving to Sis Judy, Liz H.. prayers for Karen, LK, please tell her that we love her.

I got an A+ from the cardiologist today. He said my heart was healthy and that made me want to do a happy dance. He said he is saying good bye to me, couldn't he have told me over the phone, but then I got my blood work done for my primary doctor. He said the pains I get could be from my hiatal hernia so see what doctor says next month. Anyone heard about Karen? She is on my mind so much lately, hoping all is going well and still praying.

The temps. dropped and we got some rain. It wasn't enough but every little bit helps. Had to wear a sweater today, haven't had to put on any warm clothes in a while. Maybe we will get a taste of winter yet.

I had a random plant come up in the middle of my raised bed. I was going to pull it out, but wanted to wait a while. It is a squash plant, already has a yellow flower on it.

Haven't heard anything about my neighbor since the ambulance took him away. He was still in the hospital according to one of the young men next store,. Don't know why some neighbors just don't want to be a little friendly and talk to you.

Karen goes in for surgery first thing in the morning. Please keep her in your prayers. I will be there in spirit in the morning, sitting quietly in the waiting room.

Pegi, so glad you got a good report from your heart Dr.

Jaye, we are down to 32 today, and it was snowing for about 20 minutes this morning. No, these old bones do not like the cold weather. I am so ready for spring. I have about 20 angel trumpets I have been nursing for the winter, and 3 new roses I need to plant.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Since I moved here, not one distant neighbours bothered to pop in and say hello. But then, I don't do that to them neither!!
Pegi, it seems that people like to coccoon themselves inz their own little world, just the tv, the internet, and the cell phones are enough for communications.
Happy dance here too with a HEE HAW!!!!! God is good and now you are one worry removed!!
Guilty for not trying to give Karen a ring. We just have to think the best for her, and keep praying.
Love you Pegi!

Dear Lord, please be with Karen and her family today. Guide the hands of her surgery team and wrap them all in your embrace. Amen.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Jaye, I had Smokey and Patches before the current gang. Both went over the rainbow bridge.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

AMEN to your prayers Cookie!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I just got a text from Karen's phone, probably her family member? Anyway, she is out of surgery, still in recovery, and all went well! :)

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Thank You Jesus!

Such good news! Thank you Linda Kay for keeping us informed. I'm so amazed what they can do for our overworked hearts. Praying for a speedy recovery and thank God for a great family to be with her in this time of need.

Finished the 4th book in the Outlander series. Will have to take a rest before ordering the next book for my kindle, I'll never accomplish any of my work if I spend all my time reading. Of course, I much rather read than get rid of my clutter.

N.C. Mts., NC(Zone 6b)

Yes, thank you Lord.

New room everyone, come on over!

Defoecat posted an update on Ernie. "I did talk to ernie today. he said he is going to boot hill tomorrow. That is his slang for the nursing home for rehab. They have concluded that the renal failure was from dehydration. They want him to drink 3 quarts of water a day. Told him his smaller stomach wouldn't have much room for food. I think he is seeing a nutritionist tomorrow as they want to make sure that his nutritional needs are met along with the hydration. Best talk to Linda, since she is the cook."
