Betty I sure hope Noah will be truthful with the investigators. Just have a feeling if these are "friends" that are ones he was hanging with when he was getting in trouble, he will feel he has to not rat on them. If that is the case, they sure showed their true colors. They need to be removed from society for the good of Noah and others.

Betty, was the snowmobile recovered, and did they have to cancel their trip to Jamaica?
I too hope he will tell the truth, so the police can get who ever was responsible.

Yes, they were to have gone to Jamaica on last Sunday, cancelled.
both are home with Noah as they had already booked week off
The lad who stabbed him took keys only so Noah could go get help, police had Noah's snowmobile impounded till someone could pick it up..Greg did on Sunday
Noah did not know the boy personally, knew of him by name only.
Think they were at same school but none of the same classes

Both Mel and Greg e-mailed me, said Noah had a good nights rest, in pain but managing with the drugs she had to get yesterday, said they were moving forward..will be easier until trial once today is over.

So happy Noah is doing so well. Sorry Greg & Mel had to miss their trip but they can always reschedule. Hoping Noah is realizing who it is that really loves him and has his best interests at heart. Sometimes it takes a crisis. My sister calls it a cosmic two by four.

Glad it wasn't one of Noah's "friends" who did this to him. The others will most likely be apprehended before long. The law will consider them just as guilty as they did nothing to stop the attack nor did they render any help to Noah. I'm sure they were scared but helping Noah would have made a huge difference.

Can't remember the term, but yes, they would be part of the crime for not doing anything to help Noah when they were there - accessories to the crime, I think?

Kudos to him for following through, applying and interviews..he's come a long way..his level of aspergher syndrom certainly hasn't hindered him, again thanks to mel mostly for following every avenue available to helphim..

nothing near in seriousness, but Soldier boy will be leaving soon for a month away, for training. Girls are not happy. I am sure Ryleigh does not quite understand, but will realize soon enough, when Daddy does not come home after a few days. So wishing I were closer.

On a higher note, of sorts.... got a friend that was wounded in Korea. Should have long ago been "noticed " finally received a purple heart, 4 bronze stars, and a few service medals. Will hopefully now be a bit more eligible for some veterans benefits. Little that they are. Every bit helps.
odd story, all of his, and many others, records were lost in a fire. Crazy government crap, over many years. A fluke chance meeting at a charity funktion, his wife came to be side by side with a congressman. He asked her some simple question, how's life treating you? Or some such. anyways, she told him about her husband's plight. He looked into it !! And our friend, and a few others were FINALLY recognized. And they told him they are looking into it, for more soldiers, that may also should have been awarded.
Wonderful case of being in the right place! !

LK, my procedure is one week from tomorrow, on the 11th. Looking forward to getting it over with and praying that everything is OK. Once that is over with maybe I can relax and get back to getting rid of things I do not need. Just with I could put my kindle down and put Voyager on hold for a while.

Good news that Noah is home, resting and healing. Sorry about Callie, hurts when our furries are not feeling well and they can't tell us where they hurt. If my Sami could have told me what was happening maybe I could have saved her.

If it was my 16 year old, they would have to allow me in the room or they would have to go away. Investigators tend to forget when they are dealing with a child. Unless Noah has something to say he doesn't want mom to hear. I would still tell him all he has to do is say whether he wants mom there.

Started an excersize program at my doctor's office. She has a fitness guy working with her. My knee has been bothering me, and I told her I wanted to be in shape to run around a show ring with my puppies by summer. The fitness guy seems really down to earth, I think we'll get along fine. He had me doing some knee lifts and slow extend and hold my leg, along with some upper body stuff, nothing seemed major at the time, but my left knee is achy right now. He teaches kick boxing at a local gym, and said he'll be having me doing things I've never thought possible in no time flat! We'll see about that, but it sounds good, anyway.

Deb, how courageous of you to even start a fitness program..I always feel I'm achy so much of the time why create more pain but maybe the achy'ness you are feeling is well worth the effort..might be something to consider..how are the pups doing? do you keep them in a kennel or in the house?
I should know that question but can't for the life of me remember..so glad you re-joined

I hear that Betty! I hope Noah told them everything. I'm a cops daughter and detectives don't like parents being in the room because some parents will overtalk the kid thinking that "my kid is perfect." 99% of kids won't open up to cops with parents in earshot, they think the parents don't know and they don't want to tell. It's by far better that Mel wasn't in the room.

Hi to everyone else!! I'm tired and ate WAAAYYYYYY to much Chinese food. Blah! I got to do some work on the computer today! Scheduled some pick up and delivery rail orders. I love doing that kind of work. Can't wait til I get in and all trained and settled. Everybody I talk to say JB Hunt is the best place to work up here, I have to agree!!

Hi - Sorry to be MIA; a couple of major hot flashes, stomach aches (think it's a bug) and my tooth is a little sore. However, I'm still feeling better than I was up to a few days ago so I'm hanging in with better spirits. Just took a nap - pain knocks me out. Up now as the furries must be fed.

Pups are doing good. I need to start working on leash breaking them. My dogs are all house dogs. The pups have an exercise pen in my computer room (actually an extra bedroom) that they're confined to when I'm at work.

I love the kitchen cabinets. Very pretty. I have old metal cabinets that are probably 60+ years old. I'd love to replace them with something nice. Maybe some day!
