Victoria Harbour, ON

other than Judy's weather and snowblowing I also read happiness in posts..every little bit counts right.

what did I bring to work??? christmas tree dresdens, put them together in rows then finishing will be easy..that's why I wan to go and purchase more fabric before they put xmas fabric away till fall

tummy is rolling, likely just nerves, will take a bit before I'm back to myself,
sooo looking forward to that!

Katie, wonderful news as well..

Joyce, you tease, enjoy your early spring, someone needs to have it.

Will be looking forward to my week in April in sunny Florida so please save some sunshine for me Thunder and Marion.

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Still snowing and blowing here. We have about 12 inches so far and i don't know when it is supposed to stop. Our year for big snows I guess.

How to catch up? Katie - a wonderful post. I can see your smile!!!

Dianne - Chaos??? Love it and I'm sure he/she will fit right in with Duke and Diesel. You have your hands full.

Judy and Joyce - sounds like the snow has ended where you are. Hope the birds are okay Judy.

Absolutely amazing that Noah is coming home. You will be so happy Betty to have him close. I spoke with David yesterday and he is doing great. He has healed enough that he can finally cough and get the crap out. Still hurts but not like before.

Norm is on the road today for work. Please keep him in your prayers.

I like the sounds of your coat "M". We will need a picture when you get it.

My Callie is having a rough day. Wont' eat. She is clinging to me like glue. I have spent so much time on the floor with her. She doesn't mind when Norm picks her up but doesn't like it when I do. Strange.....

Off to do my midday breathing. Take care everyone.....

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I'm up - took a T3 this morning, and it knocked me OUT........ guess I didn't have the other 2 from before bed out of my system. So, I went back to sleep for another 1 1/2 hours. lol no pain, no brain......

I'm up now, and feeling really good. NO long walks for me though lol
I'm working on the RR and have gotten one side of the 2nd border done - looking GOOD! I"m pleased
I think I have enough blocks cut out for all 4 sides - but regardless, now I'm on the easy part lol

Victoria Harbour, ON

snow passed us by, clear skies
hope its starting to clear for Norm's driving Barb
Poor Callie, don't you just hate seeing furries feeling unwell
truly is amazing Barb, both of us had family dying on the table and within the week a 2nd chance, how lucky the Lord heard our prayers.

Susan, glad you got more sleep than you thought you would and now look at you, going through those RR pieces like no tomorrow

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I'm pleased as punch to be "on a roll"
I think it's looking good - Bob wasn't too sure, but he likes it now! :-)

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

I really though today was going to be Callie's last but she is sleeping comfortably again. I was so sad lying with her and trying to bring her comfort. She is my baby.....

And yes, Betty, we sure are lucky. They were able to avoid that valley and God was good to them..I'll never be able to thank everyone enough for the prayers.

Glad you are feeling better Susan.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Same here Barb
increases the faith when you see the power of prayer
Hugs my friend, hard to see what's coming.

Sharon got back from her trip and called as she had just heard about Noah, so gab we did..I find that part so tiring.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Well Drs. aren't sure what happened. I was on Plavix and took it faithfully but they are testing to see if I became resistant to it somehow. This was a major attack, previous stent caught a blood clot and I had 100% blockage. Ambulance crew worked me over the whole ride in which I don't remember a lot of. Once at ER they stopped only long enough to cut off my clothes(Karen Neuberger jammies dang it) and insert a couple more lines. and ran with me to the cath lab. I was put completely out this time. I woke up in a room hooked up to a gazillion gadgets. Dr. has told me from now on I am on fast track directly to cath lab every time.
Home now and feeling OK just really tired. Drs. are still fiddling with meds while waiting to get results from Mayo.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Barb, just not fair that you have to have two loved ones dealing with health problems. David AND Callie. Hugs to all.

Karen posted on the other thread. She's home and doing okay. Major attack with 100% blockage. Scarey stuff that!

Betty, did you ever talk to Rita about her painted cabinets? I'd love to see pictures. I know you have a lot on your plate. So no worries and no rush.

No snow here, thank you, God.

DGD, Jordyn had all four wisdom teeth pulled today. Poor baby. Tomorrow is her 21st birthday.
Don't think she'll be doing too much celebrating tomorrow!

Another Miracle Karen, quite the scare for all!
Glad to see you posting..think next time you are unwell you best go to emerge and say you are not leaving until all tests are exhausted..

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

We crossed, Karen!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Joyce, beautiful lady..maybe just a tad of 'celebrating' lol?
will ask Rita and let you know

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

I think so...I may be prejudiced!! 😊

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Karen, so glad to see you posting! Get some rest.

Cookie, she is so pretty, but so sorry to hear she had all four teeth puked at once, she is going to be sore for a bit.

Barb, sorry to hear about Callie, cuddle with her all you can!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Human & Furry health is very important! Glad your David AND Callie are doing better :-)

Oh Karen! Glad to see you posting! What a SCARE!
You can always get another pair of jammies, but we can't get another YOU! Tale care, m'dear!

Joyce - what a beautiful lady! At least she's out of wisdom tooth pain!

Blessings to you all - my Wonderful, Wonderful friends :-)

Well, back to my sewing :-)

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

I have a quick question then I'll catch up in a little while.

Joel's at Urgent Care, they gave him a breathing treatment but he can't tell any difference & his oxygen level is at 94. How long does it take for breathing treatments to work and is 94 good?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxygen_saturation_%28medicine%29

Yes. 94 is pretty good.

It will take several treatments to make him feel better. Especially since he has been sick for a while.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Wish I knew more Crissy, maybe the girls will have answers for you..sure hope he soon gets this under control.
How did your first day go?

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

oh no.......... poor Joel!
glad to hear 94 is good :-)

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

OK good, thank you, they're giving him steroids too.

Betty my first day was great! I'll have to touch on that in a little while.

My unemployment was denied again, due to misconduct.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Misconduct..omg how could that be?

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

They say that I gave poor job porformance.

Lyndonville, NY

Crissy, I was taught the closer to 100% is better. BUT they want it over 95% most of the time.
Although 94 is not bad, he definitely has something going on there.

Glenview, IL

Hi...
Oh Karen, how scary. i'm so glad, your home again. I hope you will continue gain strength and return to good health quick.

Pegasus is doing much better. This happened last night, he was pretty quiet with a few spurts of energy. He does seem to be eating again. He will be going to doc tomorrow.
Jakes had a flat, took it into have fix, called too late.
I asked Jake about the vitamins, he has drops but birds won't drink the water.

Big Armwraps, Barbara, Callie is feeling your love.

Oh my Sunshine, Yikes, all four at one time, hope it isn't horrific, She is so Pretty.
...Did you go shopping with Sherry?

Crissy, glad to hear Joel got the steroids, I hope they help quickly.
looking forward to hearing about your day.

Hope Chaos isn't causing too much mischief.
Got to love that he's a snuggler.

Betty, you are too cute, of course you brought Christmas. Hope you got work on it.

Well, Im off to get groceries put away.

Oh and Happy Birthday to Moonbeams DD.

I've been trying to read between running up and down stairs to dry, lol no wonder I'm tired.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

The urgent care doc pulled Joel out of work anduntil Thursday, said if it's not better by then to come back and he'll put a scope in his lungs and pull him out again.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

I sent a message to my Primary care Dr. to let her know I'm home but also to let her know I've developed a pretty bad cough. Just as soon nip it in the bud. Started sneezing this morning, usually it is a fore warning.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I hope they reply quickly with some meds.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Karen I'm glad you'really back home and called the doc about that cough, that's the last thing you need right now.

JB Hunt is a great company! They have catered lunches we could buy, it's a different restaurant every day that rotates weekly. There's a full service gym, classes cost $25 a paycheck or we can use the equipment for free, a full service print shop you can use at deep discounts for your personal needs, they have corporate home & auto insurance, ways to cut down on the weekly health insurance cost, gas & restaurant discounts, all kinds of stuff. This week I'm just sitting with teammates learning the computers, then in classroom training for 2 weeks, then more team training, then I'll be able to start doing my job. This is soooooooo much better than House of Webster!!!!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Barb I'm sorry Callie isn't feeling good. Poor pup! I'm hoping Norm has a good trip this time and always. It snowed a little last night until about noon today. It didn't stick to the roads and the rest of the day was sunny and 38°.

Katie so glad you'really feeling better, we can hear that all over this thread! Glad you had a great super bowl party as well!!

Judy glad Pegesus is better!

I'm trying to decide if I should sleep on the couch tonight. I didn't mention that he separated a rib this morning coughing. That's a rib, hernia, & who knows what other damage he's done, and the doctor even told him that he's worried. Not good!!

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Crissy so glad you landed the job you wanted. Bennys sound great.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

yaaaaaay you enjoyed your first day at Benny's :-)
Boooooo that Joel's doing so badly - separated a rib? ouch!

Karen - you don't need a cold or any type of infection right now especially - go see Emerg, or the Dr!!

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Glad to see you home Karen. Gosh, that was so scary. I'm glad my doctor is looking out for my heart by sending me to cath lab. Didn't want to go, but cardiologist says it was very important. So got notice in the mail of the date and time again. Just going in rush hour isn't too good, my sister who used to work in LA said to leave at 6 AM as we probably will be stuck in traffic.

Well, I better get to bed, just had to check and see how everyone was doing. (((((Hugs))))) to all.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Crissy I pray Joel is doing better soon.

Pegi, when do you go for your procedure?

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

Morning ..

LOTS happeneing on the thread!

SO happy you are feeling better Katie .. HURRAH !!!!

Crissy good luck with JB, sounds a great work place .. feel worried about Joel .. sounds like an infection/pneumonia to me .. please don't hang back from medical care ..

Karen .. that cough, with a heart problem, 'might' signify something other than a cold .. I would hope not though .. always better to safe than sorry ..

Pegi, best of luck with your apt ... gotta hate traffic !!

Judy .. hows Pegasus doing today ?

Off to the border to pick up the coat this morning ..
Smokey wasn't looking all that well this morning, but, he ate some chicken I had made for him.
Gord is coming along, the shingles pain is awful, and, the drug (gabapentin) knocks him right out, happily he takes it at bedtime, but, he is drowsy the next day .. and, it isn't taking much discomfort away.

Lorna .. still waiting on word as to whether she will be funded for more work on her prosthetic leg .. right now I am stuffing some sponge material in the back to fill the gap ..
Ashamed of out government ..
She works so hard trying to get around ... breaks my heart ..

Dianne, how's the Pup Patrol? Awesome Chaos isn't having OOPSIES in the house ..

Betty.. how are Noah and Kyle and Greg and Mel .. and .. YOU ..

Off to make porridge .. num num num

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Good morning friends
Callie is still with me this morning. She rallied once again. She has a mat that she loves to sleep on so I put a fleece blanket of mine down with the mat on top. She lies on the mat with her head and nose on the blanket... So sweet. Her breathing is so shallow I really need to stare at her to see her chest rise and fall. Sheis the most loving cat we have ever had so I'll do whatever I can for her comfort.

94 blood oxygen is not too bad but sounds like he does need the steroid. It takes time for it to work but keep on top of it. My BO level stays around 95-96 as long as I am sitting quietly. As soon as I move around, it plummets down to the 80s. COPD isn't fun when I have so much I want to do..

Sending prayers to all who need. Must do the nebulizer treatment for this morning. Will check in again later....

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

Oh Barb .. Callie sounds like such a dear heart .. keeping her in my T&Ps .. she and Smokey are fighting their own little battles ..
O2 at 98-100% is stellar .. dipping down below 96-95% we get itchy scratchy ..
COPD is one of those O2 robbers .. Lorna's Dad has it .. he can hardly walk 10 maybe 12 feet and he is out of breath .. he is not on O2 though .. yet ..

Looking for my wallet with our passports in it .. misplaced AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!

TOODLES

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I hope you find it so you can cross the border.

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

YAY ... St Anthony came through again .. had fallen down behind my plant stand, was worried I had chucked it out with the Xmas garbage ..

Time to get in gear and get outta here .. an hour there and back, all hwy .. just have to watch out for moose/deer/wolves ..

Hope Betty is OK ..

Morning all,
another cold one here, brrrr
good part is just a tad of snow fell last night, shovelled as the girls will arrive in a few minutes and it needed done. Not sure what will get done today but as always know they've each something planned.

Oh Barb, hard decision to make re Rainbow Bridge when she starts feeling better, almost like they know. I remember the morning I took Sailor, asked myself if it was time as she seemed to perk up but I knew if not that day the next, or the next, was inevitable.

Safe drive over to USA "M"..how terrible for Lorna and you are right, should be ashamed of themselves..is she considering going back to work?

Pegi hope you got through the city without bumper to bumper traffic. Great news that the doc is being cautious.

Crissy am sure you are worried, something major must be happening..you'd think they'd put him through the ropes to find out what is happening.

Judy, is Pegesus back to normal self..

Boy, our furries and feathered friends sure are having a time of it as well.

got to run, girls at the door

Victoria Harbour, ON

I went to bed about 6:30 last night, slept until late evening, made myself comfy again and fell back asleep..body must have needed it!

Didn't call yet to check up on Noah, police will be there to take down his info so it will be a hard day for him, I'll call Greg a little later and see how things go if he doesn't call me before that.

You asked about Kyle

Kyle applied for a position at a car dealership in Toronto, his girlfriend goes to University there,
so long and short of it, they got an apartment..he started job yesterday, they don't get their apartment till March 1st so Jeff kept his house and nobody has been in it for about 5 years or so, all furnished, he will let them stay until theirs becomes available.

So many changes, no wonder we're all on a roller coaster

am sure in the next week or so Mel and Greg will have all that's happening hit home and have a bit of a meltdown, right now they are staying strong
