Morning all

Imagine Andrew will have to come and plow this morning, light fluffy snow but snow that accumulates.

Any plans for going out tonight??

Will keep extra busy today and tomorrow
Really should take a run into town and purchase paint, not ready for upstairs but could get the basement done

Already as with all the years past I make a 'goal' list of what I'd like to see done..got that noted
Imagine, one of them is filling in the smaller pd..yep, got to start diminishing work in the yard, it's the first to go

Been working on my quilt throw this morning, started at 6:00, tummy is saying its hungry
Best I go feed it

Norm and I always stay in on New Year's Eve. Don't want to chance all the idiots out there driving!!! Besides, it has been a while since I could stay awake to see the ball come down!!!

Putting away Christmas stuff today and getting the apartment back in order. Little at a time and it will get done. Then I can hit the sewing room....

Omg, Katie went and changed my post..meant paint, believe me, I've enough as well.
How are you feeling, gaining strength now you are home? Bet the furries are thrilled having you there.m what's the weather like?

Blizzard going on, decided I'm not going to town for either pant or pain. Lol

Melanie just dropped in, they have a sleigh ride scheduled at 5:00 then back to a friends, food ordered from Midland restaurant and each couple bringing finger foods.

Big hockey game tonight, it's being taped, all attending are not to check radio for score, they'll watch it together

BUT Melanie is coming down with something, she dropped in after grocery shopping , told her off to bed she goes if she wants to make it through tonight.

Happy New Year everyone. It is our anniversary, and we usually just stay home and enjoy the quiet time.

Katie, I hope you are pain free soon!

Riley likes the downstairs couch while Missy thinks I've bought the couch just for her..she's loving it!

Want to go and buy a rug for the front room, lamps for basement and I'd love to get a 6'x8' piece of linoleum and do dining room matt under table to match pillow design, maybe later if it clears up, torn between being lazy and energetic

Yesterday, didn't want the boys seeing me take photo's so no flash, not the best

Jeff was in the closet, that's where the cable comes through, Greg was boss'ing little brother Jeff around, thinking he didn't know what to do..didn't take Jeff long to tell Greg they are both the same age (at least until tomorrow) lol

I got the what for, oops had extensions here and there..was told that is a no no

Mentioned to Greg I'd like to take the main cable system and put it downstairs, he was quick in telling me it was senseless as not likely I'll sit and watch t.v. in the basement..kids

So two rooms just need some tweeking and they are done

I still couldn't go out Betty -- too cold!!!! I'm happy celebrating right here with NOrm...

We are just at home too Barb. Our youngest son and his best friend (another son) are here for the week-end. DS is feeling a bit better trying to come to terms with what his step daughter is doing to him. It's such a shame because he has been her dad since she was less than a year and she was always daddy's girl. Too sad what drugs can do.

My aunt/best friend called me this morning wanting to know if I wanted to take a road trip. She said let's head south and have fun for a while. Go to TN and maybe NC. I said OK as long as the weather holds. Not that I can't drive in snowy weather, but who wants to.

Andrew came and did the plowing, lordy, didn't think we had so much snow.
asked him if at the beginning of spring he'd come with earth and backhoe and fill in the pond (smaller of the 2), yes, as soon as it's dry enough to get in he said!

wind has died down, that's a good thing for those travelling tonight.

You won't have to worry about me, I'll be sound asleep and likely not up to bring in the new year.

I most likely will go Betty. My aunt and I have really missed each other since we came up here. A week or two will be fun together, providing I can get the finances together.

Decided just after noon to have a nap, phone rang, was Greg, he asked a friend inthe cable business to come install some wiring 'mom,John is at the door knocking, can you go let him in'

Tell you,everyone must be in the Christmas spirit, asked how much I owed hom, said 'happy new year'

Then cuddled in again and fell asleep, phone rand, Pat calling to wish me happy New Years, they were friends of roger's as well, never miss calling..she will come over Sunday afternoon for a visit.

Hard for you to get a nap in when you want too! Glad Greg sent the cable guy over. Did you get your tv in the basement?

there is a t.v. in the basement, just didn't want the big one in the living room, kids seem to think it's a must, that I'd not stay watching t.v. in the basement so for now there it stays..

for awhile today I had 4 t.v.'s playing..shaking my head..anything to hear sounds

hungry for ice cream and pie

did finish the top I was working on..decided to go to the Quilt Etc. store and look for a bright solid yellow or red quilt/shams and have this piece as an accept.

Tomorrow we'll be waking to a NewYear
may it be the best of years in all our homes..

NOT overly tired but think if I settle myself into bed just might get some reading and game playing done for a bit..

BEST THING OF 2014 - my new job. I'm in Heaven. I'm respected. I'm making money. I'm contributing. I'm respected. I LOVE my boss.... I am begging an old friend of mine to come on board as they are hiring. I have to believe that God is watching out for me and has created this for me.

I have become more spiritual with the business. I am being positive. I could tell you 6 negative things that are affecting us but I truly believe that God will help us and will take care of everything.

I found Whirligig in DSD's room (which I am cleaning out to create a guest room) and bringing it to the SHop.

DSD at ULL (21) is engaged and we LOVE this guy. She started to tell us about how she realized all I went through with them... but Hubs interrupted her. Needless to say... it's all coming around.

Judy hoping the latest Skittles is doing well and kiddos as well. Debbie - worried about you dear. Betty - will you come this way 2015 ? Moonie - have you come by the café ? LK - you are so so supportive and I THANK YOU ! Dianne... (HUGS) To you and Diesel and Duke.... Missing a few but not because of a lack of love....

Saw the new year come in, televised from Niagara Falls, send Greg birthday wishes, Happy New Years to Jeff and finally dozed off..I didn't sleep the best either but managed to stay in bed till 6am

been playing in the craft room, on a mission to find old projects I had put away so I could hand paint and add stained glass to it..house isn't that big, I sure must have found a good hiding place

every once in awhile my mind wanders but I say to myself 'self, get out of that room and find another' so far so good!

Mary, so wonderful to see you post..hard to imagine that this time last year you were not liking your work nor your boss and look at you now..enjoying going in..kudos to you for positive thinking,Lord is looking after the remaining issues..you wait and see...nope, no New Orleans this year..it's the east coast

Just stopping by to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year!

Everyone's doing OK here. My brother is slowly recovering from his surgery, my daughter's wedding is coming up this spring, planning a trip to Colorado to pick up my puppy later this month, and just did a breeding with one of my girls, keeping my fingers crossed that it took. Things are quiet, and hopefully they'll stay that way for a while. Quiet is good!

Now I need to go back and catch up on all the posts I missed!

A wedding, how wonderful, is your daughter getting married in your home town?lots to do for you.

How exciting ,finally getting to pick up the puppy, you are brave doing the trip at this time of year... have you any recent photo's?

Had a nap this afternoon, got up and found I was so tired that into bed I came ..did some calls and now watching a movie. Spoke with Greg, said he was having a wonderful day, they were all at a friends down the road from here skating on the bay, snowing and blowing but having a great time..said he would drop in later, asked him if it could be tomorrow.

Movie, smiling here, it's about Valentine's Day, doesn't take them long to switch from Santa season into the next holiday..bet I go to the stores and find it decorated with hearts

My daughter and her fiance are determined to get married at the courthouse, but we will at least go out to dinner after, and a bigger get together a little later in the year.

The puppies are almost 6 weeks old.

Betty, you are correct about the stores having hearts out all over the place. Our walast has valentine stuff out in a lot of the isles.

Love that puppy.

When I was finishing up my shopping on Christmas Eve, the Kohls store near me had racks with Valentines things rolled out already. I wish they'd leave the pretty Christmas decorations up, but the stores around here seem to have ripped everything down before they opened on Dec 26th.

Yet another movie relating to Valentine's Day. Lol

Just got off the phone with June and Darlene called, anniversary of mike's death tomorrow, she's feeling a tad down

"m" meant to say I bought crystal for use in the neck scarves, had intended to do a few and send them you way, then I got that virus..

Will make one tomorrow, will write down instructions, really just 3 straight seams, easy easy..hardest part was finding proper crystals , think I have them now..will send them along with a few pieces of fabric but if you would rather I make you three or four could do so

Deb, awww love the photos, bet you can't wait to hold..

Guess stores have a financial target to meet, on with what sells and likely are tired of Christmas.

Oh...I want a puppy. Such precious faces.
