Bob's - Cassandra's son (don't know him........)
- Adam's son, Marshall (awwwww)
- Cindy Lee's daughter, Katrina (lives in Wilno, Ontario) - both of them are sweethearts - we've been in touch with them...... always!

My daughter Michelle & hubby Lonnie don't have human kids - they have two pugs.. adorable (I'm sorry - not a furbaby's grandma.......)

I'm flyin' high here with your news "M" !!!! Now I'll pray for the lab report to back up the doctor's expectations... Just wonderful. Now we expect to see pictures of the most beautiful tree ever...You just needed the inspiration!!!
No way getting out of the window thing with the landlord. I guess some of the windows are not locking properly and all must be inspected. Since I am on the ground floor, it would be foolish of me to not let them do it....I'll be watching them like a hawk though!! Any mess will be attended to by them!

It's going to be just Bob & I for most of it. Dinner on Christmas Day will be with 3 friends. They don't come early, or stay late, so it will be quiet otherwise............ except for making dinner and this year it will be easier - We got a hamper with a boneless turkey breast, rolled and filled with stuffing. Usually we have the "full monty" but not this year. We'd only invited Margaret and Doug - both single, and friends from the church. Doug has asked that we invite his friend Bev again this year. Because he asked, we agreed. She hasn't been invited back since Christmas 2012 when she came drunk and was belligerent and wanted her glass of wine now! We had a bottle of wine, and Doug brought a bottle of wine. She drank the equivalent of a full bottle by herself. Doug tried to blame it on himself, saying he brought a stronger wine, but I told him "a full bottle of wine is still a full bottle, drank by one person - and it was the same strength as ours, can't blame yourself, SHE drank it".
He told me he's gotten her drinking the supermarket de-alcoholized beer and that he'll bring 2 cans for her to drink for Christmas dinner. She lives in a permanent care home about 10 min walk from her - she's only 58, but still should know better.

Just got an email from brother mike, won't be able to make it Sunday dipue to my kitties, he is allergic, said he'd visit me more but no can do because of my furries..not going to get rid of them..I asked so that is ok

Also spoke to mom, she is in bed with flu so doubtful she will make it

Hated to exclude anyone but will be nice to be mainly just my own

Reading that new 'chopped' pattern I bought today, thank goodness I don't have 3 1/2 meters of background color or I know what I'd be doing. Lol

I can't think of what I want for Christmas, and Bob wants me to make up a list
I've love to be able to visit my friends, too, but that's not possible on limited funds.....
Actually though..... I want health and happiness for my friends, and that's not something you can wrap up and put under the tree!!!

"M" probably about 14' will order in the a.m and they will deliver Chinese so other than snack food not a lot for me to do..

Rita dropped in last night, final decision, she just can't go to Florida even if it's boxing day (26th)
Called Ann, she just finished helping brothers build a garage, so she's excited..fighting what we all have, sounds terrible so she can't head to Florida with me and I'm really ot up to driving alone so guess I'm not gong anywhere unless I book a flight stateside..not sure if I even want to go, would be more for Darlene's sake
Sooo I keep teeter tottering..everyone else is married and can't leave hubby's home alone although some would lke to. Lol

There was 1 poor quilt top hidding in a tote, done last fall, feel sorry for it, almost like its being left aside (I'm losing it) so put borders n it, got the backing sewn and who knows, might put it on the frame later

Got my 1st. Coat of finish on recipe books so moving right ahead

There's something else I want desperately for Christmas and no one can give me that, except for one person who doesn't see the need.
I would like the Pastor to apologize to me, but he won't see that he needs to... funny I got 3 Christmas cards this year - first one from the Pastor's mother, the 2nd one from LK and the 3rd one from the secretary of the church, inviting us for Christmas Eve open house at her place in the afternoon - she's been inviting a select few for years. Bob says that now we don't go to the church, she's really just an acquaintance of ours...... He, like most men, doesn't make lifelong friends very easily. Everyone likes him, but he makes acquaintances.......

Glad you got my card, I was afraid they would not make it to Canada in time.

At 4pm I was putzing about making supper, the dogs were outside with Gord, and they started to bark !! The 'MOMMA SOMEONE IS HERE' bark.
The big white Purolator van was coming up the driveway.
Gordon signed for a package and brought it in ..
OHMIGOSH. LindaKay, you have MADE my Christmas ...
Gord is a real train fan and is quite taken with the wee train that travels around Frosty's feet ..
The handmade festive ornamental balls are just plain GORGEOUS .. love the Wedgewood blue one ..
The Mice are adorable, AND, the fabulous handmade Christmas tree with the wee Golden angel is beautiful ..
