The Queen Latifah show comes on here at 10AM Central time on "The CW" network... There was no mention of Levi and Family....and I watched the whole hour...Bob Saget was the guest ???

Figured it out....Monday's Queen Latifah show runs at 4pm on Fox network..then again on Tuesday at 10am on the CW....and so on through the week...


Not much of a daytime tv watcher....obviously.....grin

My DD's pond, just north of Detroit, was 18-24 inches deep. Her fish not only survived but also multiplied for many years. She did put a bubbler on the pond to keep one open area.

Still haven't called my insurance company re coverage on water damage.

VERY good news at the docs for Gord. .. Well, better. Than what he had thought.
Gord has 'PMR' polymyalgia rheumatica, a type of arthritis that starts with a HUGE flare up, causing the major joint aches and pains he has .. He has been put on prednisone, has had one dose and already feels better , YAY!
Has to have more blood work and a bone scan, but, things are looking hopeful he'll have a good recovery.

Alex and Addy are truly Angels on earth ..

Betty, the thought of you cleaning up that mess on your own is heart breaking, maybe Kyle could have helped out? Insurance companies are heartless 😝

We had another gorgeous day today, but our winter is coming. Y'all can remind me about these beautiful days when I'm moaning and growning about the cold. I still have some night blooming jasmine hanging around out there. It's faint, but I can still smell it.

Woke up at 4:30 to get to green bin next door before early morning pick up, managed to get all the debris into the bin, happy about that as they snow is coming today or tomorrow.

LindaKay, just know your visit with your dad is heartwarming but emotional for you as you see the days passing by and will have to return home..hugs.

Now they keep saying Michigan got a lot of sow, Karen you got it? LindaKay? Don't be in any rush to send it my way.

Off for gas for my car today, am hoping the roads are looked after, course, when we get to town, it likely won't have snowed a flake there!
Gord is still tucked in bed, but, he gave me the biggest tightest hug he has been able to give me in over 3 weeks last night, even had a tear in his eye, he is so relieved, still a few more miles of travel on the treatment road, but, the train has left the station under full steam 😉

We got a wee bit of snow last night but supposed to be on a downhill slide weather wise the rest of the week. Worries me DGS & wife are coming on Fri, on an anniversary trip and want to come by and take us out. Sat. My aunt and cousin are coming up for memorial service for her former SIL. I will worry about all if this weather does as promised.

Betty so sorry worry about your basement is disturbing your sleep , Glad the worst of the clean up is behind you. Hope you are feeling better after your fall. We talk of wrapping oldest GGS in bubble wrap as he is so accident prone, think we'll save a bit for you too.

Good news about Gord. Glad to hear the pain is already diminishing.

Jens realigned my satalite dish, then diagnosed a car problem as I was driving him home .Saw my mechanic Polo and he will get parts and do the reapair. It's the water pump and not a big deal when done here. Would have been a problem I don't need if it happened while I was traveling.

I'm allowing as much time as I can for the trip both in case of car trouble and because I am still worn out from all that has been going on.

Tony is here and setting mouse traps. They are trying to take over the kitchen and while the dogs can tear things apart looking them, they aren't very successful at catching them. We also have a bunch of little gekkos that are in and out but I don't mind them. The mice are dirty and get into food.

Missed the Queen Latifa show. I can get it early in the day but it was gone by the time I got my TV back. I'll have to settle for Ellen and Survivor.

Hanging in with much help from my friends. Maria is down with back spasms.

Morning everyone. Sitting at the airport waiting on my flight. It is snowing here. I fly to Chicago, sit there for 2 hours fly to San Antonio, then 3 hour drive home. I should be home by 9 tonight. Judy I wish I had a longer lay over so I could visit with you.

Glad to hear things are improving for all. Cold here, but no snow, yet.

Betty, they do make flood alarms, that will detect even a small amount of water in a basement. Don't think they're too costly. A friend at work made his own out of a smoke detector and some wires. I can see what's involved if you're interested.

A little quieter at home, I lost my almost 13 year old boy last week. It's been hard, but I'm hoping for a look a like grandson when pups are born later this month.

Please send positive thoughts and prayers for my young man Diesel. I fear he has torn his cruciate in his right rear leg. I struggled to get him up on the bed last night That was round 8 pm and he didnt move a muscle until about 9 am. I have to find someone to help me lift him into the truck tomorrow. Expensive surgery if I am right.

I know what you mean about the jammies Betty when you know someone may be coming. The man who delivers my oxygen tanks was the reason I would get dressed on Thursday! One day I really felt crappy so He found me in my jammies and robe. Just said I was a tad under the weather and he thought nothing of it. Guess I shouldn't do that all the time though right????

Have heard of folks having the ACL surgery done for their fur person.

Well, Gord was like a big old Grizzly Bear when he hobbled out to the kitchen this morning after I had posted. He was SO sore .. He hadn't taken a pain med prior to going to bed, and, had had just one dose of prednisone, so, until about 10am this morning, it was pretty quiet around here, but, happy to say tonight he is so much better.
Has had 2 more doses of prednisone and is loosening up .
Whew!

Heading for bed. Criminal Minds is on soon, nothing like grossing myself out before going to sleep!

My van is back with a new water pump and a bill of less than $200 - one thing that is still reasonable here is car repairs. Polo the mechanic brought his wife with him for a ride home. She is a gardener so I had her look at and smell my white ginger and promised her a bulb later. They were in a hurry but I also gave her one of my little adeniums that I'd potted up the other day.

I plan to pack the van tomorrow and leave Friday morning. My appointment is Monday morning. Sunday is about the worst day at the border; I think I'll be able to cross on Saturday.

Someone in plant trading is giving away iris bulbs for postage. Some of you might be interested. I'm getting a box for myself and I will find my coolest microclimate for them. I'm also getting a box to give to my Kaiser health care providers.

Lots to do tomorrow so I'll read a while and hope to get to sleep early.

Prayers for Diesel that it's not too serious - or expensive.
