Dianne, yikes, I hope your pained shoulder doesn't last long. I can relate for the last three years, my shoulder feels like its going to grind right out of the socket, have to be very careful of what i do.
Now, I hope you will talk with the girl and just let her know to be more watchful of how she packs a bag and for whom. At the store i go to, they sometimes give too many bags with only one or two things.

Well, my morning started off with an argument! I am not very happy at the moment.

Slept for twelve hours last night!! Still a bit groggy.

Have not heard from Tony. Don't want to intrude by calling' don't want to offend by not calling. Little chores are pilling up. And I miss him.

Maria has a friend/relative who can take care of things here if Tony is not back by next week .

Max just had an anxiety attack and scrambled into my lap. Guess it was contagious as all the other dogs piled on. I reassured all of us.

Lots of physical damage, ladies. Please take care - mending can be slow.

Maria and I shared a dragonfruit yesterday. It was delicious. We have lots of flowers so we may get more fruit.

Think I need to do some more work in the garden and let the rest of the world take care of itself.

maria will come by and she will pay me electric for me while she's in town so I can stay home.

I know you all have told me how to do this and I DID write it down but my cleaning lady washed off my white board and threw away a stack of papers that were important to me but obviously she didn't think so. I am not coming down on Dawn she is a saint and a terrific cleaning lady to boot. She thought she was doing me a favour. Anyway how do I access the address exchange here on DG?. I can't seem to be able to do it since the change over. Sigh! This time I will write it down and put the instructions in my extra special spot. Even I can't forget where it is!!!! lol

Susan both Diesel and Duke are doing great. Diesel's leg has healed up unless he runs around like an idiot playing with Duke. He seems to know most days how to temper himself. I have been pulling ticks off of both them the last few days. Wonder what is up? So sorry the took your bench. I hate when that happens. I had a spot when I lived in Toronto where I used to stop and sit half way through my 5 mile walk with Cassie.It was a great people watching spot and then all of a sudden poof it was gone. You expecting the frigid cold they are warning us about next week?

Katie, Maria sounds like a wonderful friend. Concerned about Tony - I understand what you are feeling. To call or not to call? As a friend I probably would call and I am sure Tony and his family thinks of you as a friend. Take care of yourself. Get yourself both body and mind all set for your treatment.

I see nothing wrong with calling Tony's family to inquire if he is OK. I'd think his family would consider it more strange if you didn't call.

I was kind of upset for, your neighbor/ friend wasn't very thoughtful of all you had been going though. Was glad you stood up to them...glad you are getting good rests too. Sending good thoughts and prayers for Tony' s dad.

So I had real issues for my garden for years, Jake and Emily asked if they could have a pond!
We had one very small pond next to house. I had ut removed...anyway, when they asked I said yes, only if you take care of it!! They promised they would...so I showed them inscentive of yourcalander winning photo!! And so, we now have a lovely to be pond. Only the hard stuff is in place, will add floral next year.

I've been craving salted peanuts the last few days. Wonder why? I was looking over some cookie recipes earlier in the week and saw 1 of my guy's favs Salted Peanut Cookies - maybe that was the push for my yaste beds.

Dianne, I am only starting week two of my six to eight week treatment. It is sooo sore, but
I prefer this over the other treatment which he mentioned. This is the lesser of evils to see if it works. My neck is just raw. The worse part, even after washing it off in morning, the sunlight still activates it on my skin....so lots of sunscreen, which burns more, if I have to go out.

Betty, not sure I am driving up there for craft show. Depends what the weather does tonight, but I am not wanting to fight crowds Very worried about you walking it!!!

and Karen.....anyone having health issues and family problems. Sure is hard....

BETTY! While I was in emergency with Gord on Monday, 2 ladies were in his treatment room, both had had concussions!
They had X-rays and MRIs before being allowed to leave, at which time they were told to go to bed and cool their jets.
I sure hope you're ok!

Poor Lorna now has the stomach flu 😞
Gonna have to watch her as when she has to 'Rush' she has to do it with one leg and a walker, tricky business that!

I took your advice and called Tony, wanted to assure him that I will pay him for the week. He was clearly glad to hear from me (not just about the money). Both of his parents are having medical problems and he is bearing the brunt of it.

I invited him to come visit tomorrow if he gets a chance - just to have coffee - and take a break from all the responsibilities.

Guess I'm still kind of upset with the neighbors who think I should have checked their roof. The thing is - I have always done any favor they have asked of me and I've watched over their place like my own when they are gone. And they are upset because, while I'm dealing with damage to my own place and breast cancer, it didn't occur to me to go check their roof. If they had asked me to check it, I would have but they're upset that I didn't KNOW to do it without being asked. I really alternate between laughing and being angry. I will probably be able to talk to Dana about it later. It's hard now with everything else going on and they offended almost everyone here with the emails they sent after the hurricane, wanting to be sure their property was protected. No what you want to hear when the road is washed out and you have no water, electricity, phone (no cell phones either) and people are doing their best to help each other get through it.

For myself, as I read here and pray for all my friends and all we are going through, I need to stay focused on my trip next week.

I did some work in the front garden. Got all (25) of my seedling adeniums potted up. Watered Tony's seedling veggies. Waved to a few passing neighbors.

Did some Lumosity games on the puter and read some of "Gone Girl." Began to beat myself up for not getting more done and did a mental head slap - give me a break. Oh, OK, I said.

Really glad I called Tony. I'd accidently knocked my phone off the hook so he hadn't been able to reach me when he tried to call.

I live east of town and Tony lives west of town. His son Luis works nearby and he had visited me last Saturday. Tony would know I was OK and might have been secretly relieved not to reach me. He really sounded overwhelmed. He has a bunch of brothers and sisters who are never much help , nor is his wife.

Didn't get much sleep. the dogs barked a lot and I couldn't wake up enough to bring them inside.

Need coffee.

Most of the leaves I oh so carefully blew away from the house and lane in front of the house are back. Its a good thing I am in love with my new leaf blower as I see my name written all over the calendar for leaf blowing the next dry day.

Gord had a horrid day .. gosh .. he didn't know what to do with himself, so, typical nurse, I drugged him, not severely, but well enough he had several pain free hours and a good afternoon sleep. He had 2 soft boiled eggs with 'soldiers' for supper and was very happy.
Hopefully Zoey will help him spend a comfortable night, she's quite the wee bedhog.

Also, Barb's Grandson is extremely good lookin ! Takes after his Gramma :-)

Omg,shopping they did, trying to figure out how they will pack it but I'm sure they will manage.

Other than candy and the glass for moms hanging, we left the craft show with nothing, couldn't move for people..amazes me $10 to enter to get pushed around..Debbie don't think there was anything different since I started going.

Did buy at Joann's and managed to finish off greg,jeff and Melanie's Christmas shopping so happy with that, full day and Linda and I spent time sitting in the car.

All are asleep, lots of noises going on

Don't want to wake, want to let them sleep, not sure how I got through the weekend but did..no worries
