Congrats Judy!
Best/Worse/What did I learn today?welcome friends old & new
Big arm wraps for the Lil Injun!
Congratulations, Judy. How exciting.
After very little sleep last night I got up this morning, walked out the back door and there were six dragonfruit flowers fully open. What a sight. I ran over and got Dana who was still sleeping and made her come over and see them. She said the sight was almost worth being awakened and will return later with her camera.
Tony is not here and hasn't called. I hope it means care trouble, not a family crisis.
I'm still unpacking the Suburban and another hurricane might be coming. There's always something.
hugs, katie
only got a 2 year old in his daddy's arms last night - had something for the little fella - he was Darth Vader lol
Katie - hope your meds are kicking in.......

I wrote a long post last night, either I didn't press send and lost it or it just got lost in cyber space
Omg Debbie, wish the gals would have sent me best wishes only

Girls never buy this much but this weekend they did

Holy cow Betty, you're going to have to do a lot of fancy packing, good luck with that.
Waving hi to everyone
M
Good luck Betty!!!!
Well, since there are only three of you, you will have the backseat, too!!
Good morning.
Thank you all...they are so happy!
What a beautiful story and her ring is gorgeous.
He got off work a couple hours early and carved a will youmarry me?
Pumpkin., placed it on the balcony, blank side facing in.
Then he waiyed for her to get home. Lol of course she wanted to shower, so
He waited some more...finally when she came from the room he was on one knee
holding ring told her to look at the pumkin. Awe she said f yeah!! Lol after it sunk in what eas happening she didn't know what to do and just burst into tears.
No date yet...but we had so mmuch discussing possibilities for the wedding..
They played with The feathered brats and then Davids mom was starting to get antsy.

Judy that is a beautiful ring!
Ring is gorgeous!!! So happy for all of you.
Hope your trip is going well Betty and that you get to take home all your goodies.....
Good morning,
Breakfast with Betty, Aunt Muriel and Mama Fran was fantastic! I had lots of hugs and gave lots of hugs too from everyone!
Got all the packages IN the car and she still had some room, which is good because the gals were on their way to shop more.
Was such a good time visit, and everyone looks wonderful. Mama Fran is getting around very well (knock wood) and Aunt Muriel could run circles around all of us.
Betty said it will be like Christmas tonight going through everything!!!
Judy, ring is so beautiful, and love the story. What a great memory they will have.
Waving to all....I have been up since 5:30...thank you time change!!! Going to grab a nap.
Debbie
Love the story and the ring!
Hope you took a picture of that car, Betty!!

No I didn't...maybe she will. We were rushed, was soooooo cold loading it up.
I can't imagine at customs!!!
Just got into Jammie's, made a coffee and my entire living room is filled with boxes..oh Lordy, Debbie should have charged me for rental of a room, didn't imagine it would take up so much stuff
Would have taken photo's but camera was in a bag and if course at the bottom of the trunk ..as I stopped to drop mom off in the city, then aunt Muriel off, both having to make several trips with their treasures I still ended up coming home with a car full
Took a picture of the pile in the living room, just don't know where to stop, just keep looking at the boxes too overwhelmed to open up a box.
Debbie, both mom and aunt Muriel kept telling me how wonderful you are and how they hooe you would visit.
You have no idea how much they bought today..went to kohls and they had coats on sale, $240 with 40% off, they looked so nice in them, especially mom in white with a belt, very modern, oh lucky me, ended up each getting $20 kohls dollars, gave to me to spend next weekend, yes, I'm doing this again next weekend with worlds biggest shoppers.
I of course, a lover of Christmas got a new wreath for over the fireplace and metal glitter trees to. Match wreath design
Can I while packing away fall/Halloween bring out Christmas totes??
Judy, love the ring and what a lovely way to propose ..see you just beaming!
I'm in awe of everyone's generosity in the queen for a month swap, Debbie can contest to their generosity.

Can't wait to see all your gifts Betty! Get a good nights sleep!
Just arm wraps
Home again also. Had a great week-end. Trick or Treat was cold & windy but kids still had a good time.. I was surprised at Amelia, it usually takes her a while to warm up to people but she was gung-ho with the whole evening. Sat afternoon at daughters and then party Sat. eve, for DDIL's 50th b'day. Made a couple more stops for visits today. Was glad to finally get home.
It's been ages since my four have had a picture of just them. Don't know whose idea it was but awfully glad they did. They are in age order left to right. Boys are the oldest and youngest....would you believe? They are 4 1/2 years apart.
Love that picture Karen. Glad you had a good visit!
What a weekend this was for our grandson Brandon. It was his first horse show since going to college. He is at University at Findlay Ohio and his major is Western Equine Studies. What made this so very special was that his Mom, our daughter, flew to Ohio to be there. He had no idea she was coming and she wisely waited until he was done with his first ride. She was taking pictures left and right and he never saw her. He would not have done well if he knew she was there. Anyway, he took first place in his first competition!!!! First picture is when Mom spoke to him and he is looking for the voice. Second is after the hugs and getting ready for his second ride…..He took second for that one.!! Needless to say we are so happy for him!!
AWE, what a great surprise it was for both of them! Congrats Brandon!
he couldn't smile any more than he is Barb, can see his excitement
(know you are smilling as well, proud grandma)
as you say, he'd likely not have done as well had he known they were there
that's quite an accomplishment, kudos to Brandon
Karen, posted earlier on your photo but lost internet for a bit, I see my post is not here..great looking family, bet it will be framed and out for all to see.
cool here, been putting away fall/Halloween and bringing in Christmas totes.
smilled when I saw Barb's placemats, Judy's stocking she beaded, ohhh 2007, imagine
Liz's Christmas deer dressed to the hilt
don't see much family Christmas trinkets lol just from dg friends who know my love of it..others assume because I do so much I don't need more, but I do, but I do!!!!
Tony's father is sick. Tony missed work Saturday but sent his son Luis to tell me what is going on. He's not here today; probably in Santa Rosalia seeing a doctor.
Lots of pain yesterday and not much help from the pain killers. I finally passed out early n the evening. Much better today but it's hard to keep moving. Fatal not to keep moving.
I did get some fairly heavy work done in the garden on Saturday. Felt good. First time since I've been home. Didn't try to do too much but followed up on some work Tony had started.
Love the pictures of Brandon. So nice to see a happy young man doing something he loves.
Love the story of the proposal.
In many ways it is spring here. Tony planted lots of seeds after I got home and we have lots of little seedlings. Lots of carrots. Tony likes them and I got lots of different colors of them for him.
Gradually doing prep to leave again next week. Biting the bullet.
hugs, katie
so glad Katie you have decided to bite the bullet as you say and see to having your medical issues dealt with..we will all feel much better knowing you are doing so. what day are you expecting to leave
sorry to hear about Tonys dad, he must be extremely ill for Tony not to come to work for a few days.
wonderful to see your efforts come alive in the gardens
As some of you know, Debbie has been a darling having my swap boxes go to her house..meeting up with her was wonderful..lots of hugs for sure..she could feel the love.
this morning I went through all the boxes and posted on appropriate threads, lordy I was spoilt.
I am plum tuckered out, almost need a nap lol
As you can see Missy is excited to see what was in each box
Betty, was so great seeing you and Mama Fran, meeting Aunt Muriel. I was so happy
to be with all of you.
As Betty saw yesterday...my face, neck and chest are quite a mess. I am having a
medical treatment for skin cancer. Well, the cream activates even more in the sunlight....
so...I have some nasty "burns" there.
I left Betty yesterday, and called pharmacy to see what I could do. They suggest a Vitamin E moisturizer. Well guess what. Vitamin E is almost allllllll soy!!! I didn't read ingredients before I put it on.....and I am allergic to "eating" soy. Didn't think it would bother my skin.
Wrong. SO...I was a hurting woman last night. Doing better this morning....but dang, I look frightful.
Yes, Brandons smile is priceless...what a great memory for him to have and love those pictures.
Yes, Betty was spoiled...but she deserved it. Lots of goodies she will treasure. Don't know how they got anything else in that car....and crossed customs!! LOL
Debbie
but we did Debbie
thank goodness aunt Muriel is 86 lbs soaking wet because she was sitting on my batting and no sew kit and surrounded my wreaths, actually the custom gentleman asked if we could move a few boxes so he could see she matched her passport lol
she I would take anywhere
was nice seeing you as well, so sorry to hear that the salve only created more problems, drats that is not good. Guess you did not go purse hunting
here is hoping we will meet up at the craft show in Hamburg, would love to
if we do you can remind me to pick up what mom wants, you know right where the vendor is.
I am the 2nd Fran, went out to get more xmas totes, yikes, have no idea what was in the tote but it had a sharp corner, wiping blood again away from my knee..big sigh
today is moving much too quickly
been so busy, just washed my bedding and comforter, want to put the xmas one out, season is so short I want to enjoy it
know what I will be looking for stateside this weekend..my fireplace looks so pretty done in silver and gold that the red poinsettias just don't match..need new ones
sorting as I go, will put things out at the roadside or might call Lisa, she didn't bring much Christmas with her, perhaps she could have it and then throw it away
better somewhere else than here, only want the better pieces
Barb, glad to see that handsome grandson is having such a good time at college.
Oh Debbie so sorry you had such a bad reaction, just what you didn't need. Heck of a thing we have to be so careful even with meds.
Betty just where do you find the room for all your treasures.
Terrible Horrid day today. Heck of a thing when you try to do something right and it kicks you in the butt. Hate my life sometimes.
Katie, we will keep you in our prayers for your next trip to Cali! Sending prayers for Tony's Dad as well.
Betty, do we need to send the bubble wrap your way? You have been cutting yourself too many times lately!
Debbie, sorry to hear your going through so much with skin cancer. Sending prayers your way as well!
Just anxious to get Xmas out. Lol
Things are looking up here, angels wings openiNg and closing
Snowman star blinking
Lantern lights glowing, mr and mrs snowman seem to be smilling.
Karen, sending 'hugs, sometimes it seems that way..try to do good and all goes to hell in a bread basket
Aunt Muriel dropped n, wanted to see my treasures (grin)
I had just cooked up spaghetti so she ate with me
Wanted to know how that twister mop got put together Nd how it worked, we all bought one, imagine they were only $17.99 at Ollie's here $39.99 sooo I put it together, showed her how it works, great invention so now I've clean floors
She wanted to see all my quilts and tree skirts so we went through them..
Sat too long with her so it's an effort to get off the couch but I must
Would love to out up the tree
LindaKay, all from doing things in a hurry, I will slow down
