Doc is playing with my meds this week so it is try this, get blood work done, then he doesn't like blood results so it becomes stop this and use this to rid your system of the last med. I am having a RUNNING relationship with my bathroom!!! No fun and I can't get much done......Hope it doesn't last too long.

Had a better sleep last night..tried different pain med, either it works or I was just sooo tired I slept through the night with only 2 wakes.

Girls are coming today, making casserole covers for church Christmas bazaar and finishing christmas wine glasses

I only have one bag cut and ready to snow throw that has been sitting for a bit so might try and finish it..anything I start now will be for 2015 Christmas..I know, give my head a shake

Spoke with mom, still iffy if I take her to Buffalo, aunt Muriel has nobody to watch her dog and mom goes from I really want to go to might be a long ride, might be too much so we shall see. I will go regardless as I need batting and must get my boxes from Debbie. About all going on in my world

Norm has an appointment with the orthopedic doc tomorrow afternoon when they will x-ray the hand again and see if it is healing. If it is, he still has another three weeks with the splint on his hand and thumb. If it is not healing then we may be talking surgery. So I will know more after then....

Good morning. Thanks but I really will be okay...did have normal sleeping hours last night so maybe the hump has been crossed. I am dealing with nothing compared to what others have going on in their lives.

Kim's problem is the students...lack of respect (common theme among teachers these days) and the fact they have put students in her class who can't pass remedial English to those who are gifted. Not a good mix!!! The utter lack of responsibility is another issue...always someone else's fault. Unfortunately I think it is just a sign of society these days.

I feel for Kim there is such a lack of respect in classrooms these days, I blame parents they simply let kids get away with too much. Hard to have continuity in her class when the levels of learning are so wide spread. Have to move at the speed for the slowest which bores the brighter kids.

Lurker here, Just dropping in to ask for help from the people in Canada - have any of you ever purchased a bottle of Clicks Mouthwash? I have a shipment from Canada containing this mouthwash but they don't know the manufacturer, I was hoping if you had a bottle you would be so kind as to check the label and tell me what it says the country of origin and/or manufacturer is. I'm actually working right now but this issue has me stumped so I thought I'd throw the question out to you.

Little worried about Diesel. He developed a very bad limp on his right rear leg yesterday. Duke blindsided him and both were running full tilt. He is holding up his paw when he walks but there is nothing on the pad of his foot. He managed to jump up on the bed around 6 pm last night and didn't budge until 7am this morning.

Are you feeling a bit better Linda?

Googled this and 2 sites came up. I just can't see well enough to read the label on the bottle. Maybe if you google clicks mouthwash and enlarge the pic you will be able to read its label.

Yeah, I've been laid low with a bronchial cough & painful lungs the past couple of days too - lots of resting and staying quiet.
I know that if I don't take care of it, it's been known to last 3 months, so I Am Taking Care Of It!

Thanks All! I did Google it and found it on a South African site, but the question of who actually made it was not resolved. Click Dental is not the right company, it is actually Clicks Group out of Cape Town who arranges for the product to be made and then distributes it under the Clicks Brand. The Canada people who shipped it say that even though it is sold I Canada, and distributed by Clicks it is made in South Africa. These products have backgrounds similar to onions, you have to strip them, layer by layer - distributer, brand provider, contract manufacturer, etc.. Some days I can do it and some days, like today, I end up at the wall.

Like you kidney guy, I found a picture but it doesn't enlarge big enough for me to read the label and I could only find a front label anyway. It's a product that was purchased off the shelf by the company in Canada and sent to their sister company in the US in order for them to analyze it in their labs and determine how it differs from their own product. I hate that FDA insists they need the manufacturer info, name address and so on. If it's for another company than the one you are working for, , that's proprietary info and you have a hard time getting it.

I do appreciate the responses and you spending your time looking it up, though. I will just have to give them the South Africa distributer and hope for the best - it's only one tube, not like it's a case of product.

not much going on here.
spent the last 45 min getting a new password and dealing with my bank online. Paid my visa with my bill pay banking online. grrrrrr. pd the balance off and they hit me with my interest rate the same day ! ??? hmmmm coincidence ? i think not. grrrrrr. I have never had it take this long to post ??? they said 3-5 more business days. .. really last time paid it off it only took 3 days to clear.
next time i will just pay it at the bank

I had a much better day today. No trotting to the washroom in a hurry!!! LOL Whatever the med was that the doc gave me to get rid of the potassium washed me out totally. Today I had the hungry horrors which I haven't had in months. I kept looking around for stuff to snack on. I'll need to put a stop to that quickly!! Thank you all for your get well wishes.....

After some searching, I found that Clicks Group Pharmaceuticals is a distribution company and seems some of the products sold under their Click's Brand are manufactured at a Pharmaceutical company in Botswana.....whew Clicks Brand is a very "well respected company with a history dating back to the 1950's....and has a number of other holdings including GNC Company South Africa.....

But the formula for sensitive teeth does not contain alcohol.....grin

Hi Betty! , no i dont want any, i was just hoping someone in canada on this thread might have a bottle of it and could tell me what the label said. I told the courier to use the south africa address for the fda and customs entry. Sorry if i gave the wrong idea, sometimes i give too many details!

Thank you also moon, the shipper was able to tell us the ingredients so that was not an issue. I realize the government is just trying to keep people safe but these small sample shipments need so much info to clear them through customs! The scientists just think they can buy a tube of something and just drop it in an envelope and it will just get to the consignee like magic. They are always surprised when they get a call from us asking about ingredients or a manufacturers name and address. If i had $1.00 for every time they tell me that they always send these things to the US and have never had a problem before, i wouldn't need to work, hahaha!

Dianne, please tell Diese I hope his leg feels better soon. My dog has such skinny legs i am always afraid she is going to get hurt with all the roughhousing
she does with my grands!

Geesh, sure wish I did have help, well Linda Kay, the kids are helping as they're dealing with, inside stuff for me. Which is really nice. How are you feeling better, I hope. This strip work is so tedious and for me a ton of up and down....my arms, wrists and neck are taking quite the exercise. Each section of board is taking me up to four washes to get to the actual board. Yikes, i fear i am not going to beat the weather. But I have got to admit, it's so worth just seeing that wall without all that ugly white.

Judy, DH just went back to work this morning. He was off from Friday!!! He and DS painted so much, put the new wood on porch deck out back but the wood (pressure treated) is so wet it can't be painted this year. I am disappointed...but happy the new wood is down. The front porch looks great, I picked a russet brown for the floor...and I love it.

Yes, excited to see Betty...and guess what? Snow is expected Betty, so be careful and dress warm. They are saying 28 degrees on Saturday!!! Seems last year we were at IHOP when the years first snowflakes fell.

Neighbors Dana and Tom got back today from their summer in Washington State. As Tom was backing up next to my driveway may dogs all stood at the fence to bark at him. I joined them - and also barked at him. He doesn't like me much but I can usually make him laugh. And did.

News from Kaiser isn't good in terms of timing for radiation. Looks like I'll need to make two trips in order to be here for Christmas. Must think a lot as the trip is difficult for me.

Norm just got back from the doc and the wrist is now in a cast. something is broken on part of his thumb. The brace was not holding it steady enough to heal correctly so now it can't move at all. He will have fun with his job. NOT! Thank heaven the doc wrote it is to be in moderation and only what can be handled. No reaching and no lifting. Norm is not a happy camper right now.
Off to start dinner......

My garden just made my day. I was doing a little clean-up and found a dragonfruit ripening!!!! It is our second on. The first one set and ripened while I was gone in Ca -
Tony said it was delicious. I am so excited. We've been wondering if we would ever get fruit without extensive hand pollination, This is wonderful.

We will be looking for people who might want a ride to or from San Diego when I have to be there.

Sorry about Norm's cast. They are no fun at all.

Know how much you do in your community at Christmas for all the children, hard to set it aside and do for you biput it's urgent that you take care of you...laughed at you barking/howling..had he not laughed I'd have said he was a poor sport!
