It's a great honor to post info for Dianne for the

"2nd Annual 'Christmas Friendship Gift Exchange' in Memory of Santa Warren"

We were all thrilled 3 years ago when Dianne and Santa Warren brought up having a Gift Exchange amongst we friends, often thought of more as family.

"I guess we should decided on an upper limit cost wise, I would hate to see anyone withdraw because they were afraid the couldn't keep up with the Joneses (old Welsh expression). So I guess we should consider a guide for the cost factor, it doesn't have to be hand made"

No amount will be set.. gifts either handmade or bought will be within each others budget !!!

names given on the 9th..am sure duke and diesel will think its an honor to pick names for us

mailing by December 1st as to be ahead of the Christmas rush

Suppose to be a nice day today, it's just soooo damp so not pushing it outside. Didnt fight the aching bones, took pain meds, only woke twice.

Today I would like to seal the floormatts I finished for the Christmas craft workshop here at Dg, already cut some to size, might go into town to see if I can find stencil sheets so I can burn out snowflakes, other than that it's working in Santa's workshop

The video of Malena and Levi is gone crazy!!
All kinds of web pages airing it. It's been on fox. On the today show. Producers of Ellen show have called them. They have had the. Local tv stations knocking on their door.
it is just crazy.
I am going tomorrow to see them. Can't decide who I want to hug more. Levi or Malena ^_^

Picture from a friend fb page. He saw on tv in Texas. Levi was buddy with this guy and his brother when we lived in MA. All 3 of them joined military. This is a nice shot of Levi with a great smile.

We just celebrated #40 with a beach trip. It was the first vacation trip with Moses. He had a blast. It was so much fun!

How was your trip this year?

The main trip to Texas was wonderful even though Linda fell at the state building and had to have the wheelchair the entire trip..we covered mega miles and saw so much..next main roadtrip is the east coast.

My trip taking Darlene to Florida went without mishap..kind of like the idea to be home for a bit.

Congrats on 40 years of married life..smilling at the thought that Moses likely had more fun than you both

Greg/Mel dropped in, they were going out for upper with the Cains Quest Team, remember them?

Kyle dropped in, he was on his way to Toronto to pick up his girlfriend,..12:30a.m. As she was out with the girls..grandma shook her finger, too late to be driving all night after working all day.

The mom called, chatted for a bit..she went to bingo, won $90 so she was pleased

Then Db Bernie called, can come over tomorrow and get all the chores I have on my list done, new light in the craft room, new fan in the bedroom, new electrical switches, fix a tap etc etc

Lisa is packing some things up, she moves Saturday morning..been nice having a little one in the house, going to miss my nightly kisses when she is off to bed. Hard to believe their 3 weeks is up. Her hubby, son and dog arrive Sunday ..she is excited

Then it will be be, myself and I again..I don't mind that..feel good about helping her out though.

Susan!!! OHHHH So happy to see you! Do you know I have coffee with you EVERY morning with my beautiful cup! I swear its true and I think of you each time.

I finally was able to see the video!!! somehow I had lost the program that allows me to play them and it wasn't until Norm went through my programs and found what was missing and we fixed it!!!

Busy trying to catch up on lo these many things that have been so neglected over the past few years. Endless and thankless job at some times. At least progress is being made and that is a wonderful feeling. I cease to be amazed at the "stuff" we can collect over our lives only to ask one's self "why or what did I think I would do with that?"

Temps have cooled off so I do find myself going outside doing things when I know good and well I should be inside finishing up others. Yes, I do have ADD!!!!

Nothing new here, Betty. Just work and home, boring, but I know that's a good thing! Puppies due in Colorado in a month, so I'm excited about that. One should be coming here! I'm hoping my boy will have his Ch. title by then so I can bring him home, too.

Kylee is talking more and more, she is such a joy. I just wish I got to see more of her, but with my work schedule, and my son's work schedule, it's hard.

My daughter Julie is getting more excited about her upcoming spring wedding. His family is planning a huge engagement party around Christmas, so I'll get to meet all of them. I've met his mom before and she is very sweet.

So much yard work to try and get done this weekend. We've had a couple of light frosts, and some of the annuals have had it, but there are still some in pots I want to try and overwinter. Leaves to rake, flower beds to clean up. Still have to drag out the storm windows and put them up, too. A couple need to get painted. If I can stay away from the distractions of the computer inside, maybe I can get some things accomplished!!

Sharon's dogs did well at last weekend's show..I'd love to have one of her puppies, telling myself no.

Nothing like a wedding..overwhelming at times but a special time in our lives.

Had to scrape ice off the windshield yesterday morning, that's not a good sign

reading all you have to do and it's reminding me of things undone here as well

I really should have not signed up for a tree skirt class tomorrow and spent the weekend putting more to bed..paid for it so best I attend.

Kylee lives about 45 minute drive away, not too far, but during the week, it's hard, and weekends everyone always seems so busy.

No idea of the size of the litter, she had 11 in her last litter, hope it's not that big, though!

I'm envious of all the crafting you do. I'm good at starting things and never finishing, and with the dogs, I know everything would get messed up. Nothing is safe with them around. And, while teaching them to jump on a grooming table is a backsaver when I'm grooming, they don't discriminate between grooming tables, and kitchen tables, and dining room tables, so I can't leave things setting out half done because someone will be standing in the middle of whatever it is, as soon as I turn my back.

Not much in the line of sleep. I went to bed at 1:00...and dang if I wasn't awake before 4:00!!!
Tossed and turned, got a glass of milk and sat down stairs for a few minutes. Fell back asleep from 6:00 to 8:30. It's going to be a long day I think.

DH is out scraping the porch floor...I can't wait to see this done!!! Has needed it for years.

He just took ceiling fan down and deciding how he can go about replacing it with new

think I made an error, it's got a tiny little light, more the size of a night light bulb, drats
I wanted lots of light so I can read at night..made sure it had a remote so I didn't have to get out of bed to shut it and it looks as though I still might need my bedside light

but good news is there is so much light in the craft room might have to wear sunglasses

sorry you didn't get a lot of sleep Debbie, think you and I have same sleep habits lol
you won't be able to paint though in this cold weather?? spring job I'm sure

Hi Everyone, It's hard to post right now. I am in a lot of pain and it's depressing. There is so much work to do - the two hurricanes didn't help - and I also need to get ready to go back to Ca. for the radiation. It's difficult to just stop and take care of myself. Everything seems to hurt. At the same time, I am grateful that there if nothing too serious or life-threatening going on. And I may be able to see Amma in November.

But, as you all know, pain sucks and I'm tired of it.

Good news is that that I'm catching up on my sleep. And, as long as they get food and some petting the dogs think I'm perfect and they tell me so. I accidently touched Max last night while he was asleep and he snapped at me but not as dangerously as he has done in the past. No broken skin.

The incision from the surgery is healing up well. I have to take antibiotics as it was slightly infected. I have also had a cough for a couple of weeks.

All in all, my energy is low and it's hard to accept that I can't do everything I'd like to. Then I feel guilty cause so many are worse off than I. Can't win for losing sometimes.

Glad you are all here and we all muddle along with our ups and downs.

Time to cook some chicken for the dogs. Their happiness makes my day.

Doesn't stop us from worrying about each other though.

Bernie just left, was happy for his payment and I happy about getting all the little things done.
Have a 3:15 haircut appt, so in need of it then it's off to home depot, need 4 fluorescent bulbs, mini chandelier bulb for fan, batteries then home to get what I need for my course tomorrow packed.

Sitting inserting lights into Halloween drapes so I can hang them..set panels to do, that ought to keep me out of mischief for the rest of the day

Katie, sorry to hear your coughing so much! I hope you have some good cough syrup to take? Maybe some honey and lemon?
