Morning everyone! Just popping in to say hello, read the other threads, then off for a hot shower, more meds and back to bed for a bit. I have a terrible head cold. My face feels like it is going to explode!

didn't go to work today. just going to take the week off from work and gym.

Parents of the man who did this unthinkable act had called RCMP to report his mental state..police took away his passport, later gave it back..act of terrorism at least n his mind.

Hard to keep someone n jail because of how people see him, now too late

so sad - terrorism is so scary............

...Oh, no need to call yourself "toopid" I forget not everyone knows what my problem was. Thanks for the kind words...in answer to your question, Yes...I had a phobia of driving on the expressway or any highway like road! This has stemmed from childhood. I watched a young friend fall out of a moving vehicle, (luckily, she wasn't hurt very badly). Over the years I was involved in a couple accidents on the highway, one of which a head-on collision, and quite a few family members were killed on highway roads, one was walking and got struck by a truck, Our Cuz, slid off the side of a cliff and my Sister Carol (Bear) was killed in a car crash on a major highway, while passing, another car right behind them was passing too. On coming car coming fast the second car sped up to get back into the lane, hitting my sister's car with such an impact they went off the road, it killed my Sister and her Boyfriend instantly, that one really pushed me over the edge. My fear just became a horrific nightmare even to be a passenger and for a long time I just hated to hear the phone ring.
So it was really very cool that this visit home was for something good.

Ackkk, i fell down last night, scraped up my shin pretty good. Scrubbed it down cleaned and thanked God I had a tetnus (SP) shot not too long ago, geesh, wasn't watching where I was going.

Well, I've got to run and gas up my car, taking Tabby for pics....jumping for joy, Dh fixed it, turned out there was a piece of lint in the connector, my hero once again. Later i post a bunch of pics!

I just booked my flight for Michigan, got it at $361 round trip. I am flying up on the 8th, and returning the 12th! Hubby's birthday is the 13th, so I had to get back for that!

On Tuesday two of our soldiers were run over purposely by a suspected terrorist or at least he thought he was doing it for that reason and now this

Some good news here. I got some sleep last night. I've had a cough for a couple of weeks and, along with everything else, I'm tired. Tony did a great job of taking care of things while I was gone and I am so grateful. The dogs and I had a great reunion; Max is especially glad to have me back and burrowed into my throat all night.

Maria came for a visit. Tony and I worked on unpacking the van.

I've done a little clean-up but I really need to rest. I have to make some plans about how to organize things and not just go in circles.

Think I'll have a cup of herb tea.

Listening to news...poor soldier that was killed, apparently not nly one shot but theman stood over him and shot twice more..they believe 2 or 3 involved...thank goodness not more killed.

Poor soldier is from Hamilton, that is halfway between Debbie and I

Last minute flights and one way flights are always more.

Dad will be thrilled LK.. Great price. Brandon is coming home for Thanksgiving. His Dad bought the tickets back in May and from Ohio to Boston, it is costing him $680.00!!!! Just because it is a holiday.
