Tech coding problem....links,quotes now and last week the dates were in Spanish...Admin says the techs are working on it....

Quiet this morning,

Packing up swap pkgs to mail, travelling clothes as Darlene already has my suitcase

Will paint on floormatts for a few hours once I'm prettied up and ready to travel.

Darlene has someone coming in later this morning to close up her home home for the winter, not sure what she needs to have winterized then she will pick me up.

Imagine the pies I could have for Thanksgivng if I had such a tree, simply amazing

Here is hoping the glitches I had yesterday have been fixed so I can post on the workshop thread what steps I've already done

Ah Betty you are headed south and I have just returned home. Have a safe trip and enjoy..weather has been wonderful down there.

Greetings everyone. We home for a couple of weeks for our family reunion..wouldn't you know it..rained really hard that day. We had rented a pavillion at a local park so we were all cover and actually had a fantastic time. Forced everyone to stay together and get to know each other better. Strange how families see each other but still don't know each other. Still trying to work off the extra pounds from all the good food....never did find the banana pudding!!! Bummer. :-)

Hope everyone is doing well and again.....safe trip down to Ft. Myers.

Does anyone know if this is a closed thread meaning only those with a paid membership can access after the first post? Much to our dismay on another thread in Pets Forum we found out it was open to the general public. Not too keen about sharing some of the things we do here. The support and concern on this thread has helped me through some rough times but I would hate to think the whole world was also sharing these things.

What I didn't like was I had a journal entry about my gardens, crafts, family etc
you only had to key my name and guess what, anyone could read the entries so I stopped making entries

I thought DG was more secure than that..

until Darlene picks me up at 1:00pm I'm forging along on my painting the floormat..got to say there is more time waiting for paint to dry than actual work..likely why when I paint I do a dozen lol no waiting for paint to dry that way.

Floormat is turning out nice..I'm making it as simple as 1-2-3
as always you gals add a bit of yourselves into it
sure wish I could post a photo to show you what it will look like but glitches still not fixed (boo hoo)

Asking for prayers for my daughter in law. She has been really sick for months now, and after many Dr.'s and specialist, they finally figured out it is her gall bladder and pancreas that is really inflamed. She is getting prepped for emergency surgery as we speak.

Well, 16 years ago today, I married my life partner - he's the joy of my life, and I appreciate him no-end. I can't imagine life without him.

btw - I AM going to my church's fall lunch & "next to new" sale tomorrow. I'll talk to my darling about other things to do with the church, but I think he's rather "burned" by all that's been said, so I don't know if he'll be there on Sunday, for service........

Guess the fact that anyone can read us is why we are all so nice to each other? NO _ WE ARE TRULY THAT WAY!!!!! Let them read as far as I am concerned. Maybe they will learn something regarding caring about others and reaching out to friends.

Yes, we had a lovely evening - dinner, then to our room. In the morning we had a complimentary breakfast, then home for a quiet day at home.
btw - I went to the church's Fall Fare - lunch & next to new items. All the ladies came over to me and wished I would come back. One couple (Heinz & Marilyn) told me they heard I wasn't returning, and when they met me outside, told me they wanted me to come back - they miss me.
I got so many hugs and well wishes from the ladies of the congregation - they want us back :-)
We won't be going there tomorrow, but perhaps the week after - we shall see when that happens
