Not only the money, but I also watch her three young children(ages 5,3, & 2), whenever she needs a sitter, and I work full time, so it takes up a lot of my time. I find it hard to do everything I want to do. There's just not enough hours in the day. I love my grandbabies, but with 3 small children around any serious crafts are out of the question. Unless I want my house redecorated. lol

Afternoon from winter wonderland,
Just brought in another tote Andover and behold our snowman from last year waved hello
Big smiles as I thought of many of the same soon to d orate your homes..
Now I did find a tote with 8 kits, yikes forgotaboutthem
Am sure maybe one day I can have the girls joinme and finish them up
kits.... did you say kits.... what kind of kits??? Snowman kits??? Are you willing to ship and how much do will they cost???
Now Pat you were just saying you had stuff you needed to do. OK you have until the kits get to you to get the needful stuff done. LOL
They were from last year Pat, was to have a workshop with the girls here then my step father fell I'll and only had weeks to live so set them aside..actually had forgotten all about them
Tomake matters worse, found some blocks that we made the year before lol

Hi Betty
Great job Linda kay and julie.
Just puts a amile on my face.
Barbara did you and Sean get together this weekend?
Finally, got mine going...just taped and blanched. Time to do some smooshing!
Anxious judy
Not yet Judy. I don't know what is going on with him right now. I think being 14 and in high school, he is feeling like he is too old to be painting with Grammy. I'm hoping to check one more time this weekend. If he doesn't or can't come down then I will ask the lady upstairs if she would like to do it with me....
They seem to hit that spot for a bit, then get through it and come back around to time with Grammy is cool.
You know sometimes it's not so much they don't want to but life is busy and there is SO MUCH they want to do that the family stuff gets low priority. Developmental stage... like you said, they come around again later!
Know how Barb feels, Lordy Kyle was always here visiting with gram
Now he's 19 next week, new car, girlfriend in University and I rarely see him
Know life moves on but still miss him
Today is DGS Rory's b'day. His freshman year of college, we stayed here together so he could live off campus. He so prefers the lake. We got especially close that year. Now he's married with a daughter and home of his own. I'm lucky to see him 2 or 3 times a year. I know that is as it should be but I sure miss the fun with the grands.
Hard watching them leave the fold
Guess that is why we build all these memories--to keep us company now that we are older....
Know exactly what you mean Karen.
I really don't think our "kids" and "grandkids" have a clue how much we miss them. But then again, I am sure I did not either!!! Although for years my brothers and I mowed my grandparents yard, my horse was boarded them some of the time, etc, etc so we probably got to see them much more than what we would have.
I was very tight with my maternal grandmother and saw her very often. Losing her was the hardest for me. I still miss her every day.
My paternal grandmother raised me and same, miss her every day
Over us over to a new snowman floorcloth room
