Barb, one word 'spacebag' yep, purchase a roll in bulk then into a space bag and use as needed, soooo much cheaper ... laughing here, I'm hooked on spacebags....lol

Have my day planned, will try to get these put together in hour glass block then when time permits I'll do a block here and there

need to do final touches on halloween candle holders (wine glasses) but I've plenty of time to do that, some early morning they will say 'pick me pick me' and I'll get them done

The only other thing I freeze is roasted tomato sauce. You need such a small amount of it since it's so rich, freezing in very small amounts is the only thing that makes sense.

Bill has his surgery dates. September 2nd for the filter and September 4th for the kidney stone removal. Sure will be glad to get those over! Keep us in your prayers, please.

sad to hear about the loss of a child from DV. Here in Clark County the other day a young 9 yr old boy was drowned. He and his uncle were playing in the creeks and the boy drowned from an under currant. Signs posted every werhere about no swimming ... so sad.

That being said one of our dg members passed n and had her ashes put in compost and many of us received a bag..mine is buried in garden where the door and sunbeam art is. Why oh why do people not read signs?? Sad indeed on the loss of that child.

Well, have all but 7 of the hourglass blocks done, shoulders aching so guess body is telling me it's beak time

Had 3 coffee's so off to look for juice

Got the 42 blocks done into hourglasses

ironed them and sectioned them into same colored piles and voila..accomplished what I wanted to today

doubt I have enough energy left to start disecting them into piles and making end result blocks

maybe after I've had a rest

DH wants ashes loaded into 2 shot gun shells and fired off in his favourite hunting spot .. doable .. but, kind of a bumpy ride to get there!

Doc (rheumatologist) is away on holidays, family doc is as well .. so .. I'm just sitting and tolerating the itch and burn .. benadryl is about 40% effective .. dogs kinda wonder why I'm not dressed in CLOTHES, still have my housecoat on .. moves better when I find just the best door frame to rub my back on.
Lips are pretty much looking like I had way too much BOTOX ..
I'll survive .. wrote an adverse reaction form to the Ministry of Health .. best to let them know this happened to me so others can be warned ..

As for where I shall go when my days are numbered, already have my name engraved on a beautiful tombstone next to my sweetie..date of birth is on it just needs my final breathing date. Had I not had it one could throw me anywhere..told the outs, absolutely NOTHING when I'm gone except for fond memories IF they have any. Old moto, here today and gone tomorrow..

Hi Everyone, I'm still in "Chula Vista. Back is still sore and doctor needs for me to do another urine test so I'll be off to the lab after this.

I'm feeling really grumpy which I think means I'm better. Up til now I've just felt sick and tired.

My van is overflowing - barely room to read and sleep.

No results on biopsy. Radiology has sent non-working phone numbers and wont' tell me results by email.

Betty, Hope your mother is coming around. The mood I'm in, I'd love to come and give her a talking-to. Short of that, I'd suggest dosing her with Benadryl and getting her moved ASAP.

I'm off to the lab.

Same here Betty, re the plot anyway .. only my parents headstone is there, I inherited the other plots when they passed.. and, the way things go theses days .. 2 plots can hold 8 cremains , or, 2 traditional caskets .. my parents WERE going to go 'traditional', but, decided on cremation, ergo, there are now 6 cremain plots left, OR, one traditional and 2 of the other .. jeeze, this sounds like some tricky math question ^_^

Far better tonhavethese tests completed and results n hand before coming home with a possible chance you are needed for more testing..am sure the furries are missing you terribly but am sure Tony is lookng after them just as you would so no worried there.

I go to bed, automatically and flick on ZEE TUBE .. next thing I know, If I haven't crashed, is the watching of sometimes HORRIBLE shows .. not horrible in their acting, but, content ... when I do fall to sleep I think I subliminally carry them over into my dreams !!!

Yes I am smiling. I spent the morning with him, out to breakfast, Chiro, Target for some items he needed.....and then to Guitar Center. I needed to hear him play...and he doesn't have any guitars any more....which breaks my heart.

So, he played for his Mom...and came home and played piano for me also.

Well, no help from the radiology people but my regular doctor got the results and said I need to contact them before heading south so they found something. I will call them and, if necessary, go to the hospital and sit there until somone talks to me. Will keep you all posted.
