Concern sister here, please get Kim PowerAde Zero or sugar free "G" series. There's 14 gms of sugar in an 8 oz, serving of Gatorade. She can get her minerals, potassium and sodium in PowerAde Zero. That comes in powder form too. I was rushed to the hospital after downing some Gatorade at work.
Bananas will help too.. or poor Kim may have to return to mashed baby food!!
Wishing her a speedy recovery, she must hate it not being at work.

MIL had Kel removed Murdock's clothes, shoes and burnt them. She didn't believe in Goodwill, as she's paranoid. She kept only the framed pictures. Kel said she's still punishing Murdock!

Just returned home from the doctor. It is not food poisoning but the "bug" for lack of another name that she has caught during her travels as suspected. Still doing more test to determine exactly what type so in the meantime she has been given some meds for the nausea. That should really help.

Funny thing Jaye, the doctor knowing she is diabetic told her to stick with Gatorade....oh yes, bananas also.

Kathy, oh how I wish I could grab some of your tomatoes. Had hoped to can some this year but alas it didn't happen. Maybe I will just go buy some from the packing house this fall and can them. Time will tell.

Need to go do some much needed chores.

Got my chores done, gonna grab a bite and then play the rest of the day. Amelia seems to need a Daniel Tiger costume, so before I start another tree skirt, I'll make it for her. Daniel Tiger for those who don't have little ones is from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Show is now called Daniel Tigers neighborhood, same characters minus Mr. Rogers of course.

BTW did you know that both Mr Roger and Captain Kangaroo were war heroes? Especially the Capt, he was one tough dude.

Oh Marion, perhaps the doctor doesn't know there are sugar free sports drink now. The doctor I had back in Louisiana wasn't too happy when he checked on me at the hospital. Back then, it's just regular Gatorade handed out to the Dye and Bleach house crew. Temps can reach 3 digits, and not to upset OSHA, the sports drinks were handed out twice a day.
Let's say, I started bringing bananas.
I have severe let cramps at night, and it's sugar free Propel I'm drinking for the minerals.
Hope the tests can give some answers soon.

Someone told me that the reason Mr. Rogers always buttoned up and had long sleeves were to hide the tattoos. Knew he was a war hero, but not the Capt.

Taking a break from sewing and pressing and cutting. Finally moved the sewing machine back to the sewing room!! Away from distractions.. oh this.. it's in the bedroom. :)

Kel called, praised God that it didn't rain there. He said there are only 2 from his shift that showed up. Guess the rest didn't expect dry weather there.

Just found out that Dads surgery is tomorrow at 11:00. The Dr.'s said it has to come of to at least above the knee. They will do testing for blood flow during surgery, and may have to take it off to the groin!
Please keep him in your prayers?

Darwin's sense of humor was contagious and he even joked when it was something serious. I guess his way of coping with some things. Just wish he had cleaned up the garage before he left me, son is going through so much stuff out there, soon we may have walking room out there. He said when he is through he will start on my side of garage. May find things I forgot I had. It is time to get rid of so many things. I don't want to be known as a hoarder.

Prayers for healing for your dad LK. I had a lot of extra hoses for CPAP here, wish I had saved them for you Marion.

Son was dragging stuff out of garage and going through it so helpful me though I would help a little, stepped wrong went backwards and fell against stucco on house. He came out helped me up and worried I broke something. Have a bruised left hand and a really sore spot on my rear end. My big feet always get in my way. Then he said we will start on my side of garage, wonder what goodies I have hidden out, or a lot of things for the trash. I think I should stick to digging in the dirt.

Glad to hear Dad's operation is over LK> I'm keeping him in my prayers.
