oh, poor Linda!!! how's she doing today? Glad she didn't break or sprain anything! Yeah, updating older bldgs to new laws & standards is imperfect, but they should have had Signs saying that it's wheelchair accessible, and where!!

Already tucked into bed, will be an early morning so best enjoy a bit of relaxing then have an early night! Linda is already sleeping, she was a good sport but tonight she is in mega pain.

We did meet up with LindaKay shortly after her post and spent a lovely day..

We did the Alamo, River walk, omg she brought us to a restaurant that is beyond belief, they virtually for lack of describing it insult you..we had so many laughs.a lot of off color comments and a lot of photo's

Rode on the Rio water taxito and from the Tower of America for a 4-d movie 'ride over Texas"

Must apologize to LindaKay, she said she didn't like to be high and what do I do but drag her to do a 75 floor tower. Yikes, she was such a good sport about it

Today, we originally schedules Johnson space center in Houston but all decided with bypassing it due to mega traffic in that area..all are anxious to do Oak plantation tour in Vacherie and get to New Orleans

Morning everyone. I am back home and had a wonderful day with Betty on the river walk, the Alamo and the tower of Americas. It was a long hot day, but I really enjoyed it.
Saw my Dr. and he gave me a shot in the hip and arm. Lets hope it works for awhile this time!

Yes the trip up the 75 floors to the top of Tower of the Americas was a bit knee wobbly, but I really enjoyed the view once I got up there.

We stopped for lunch at Dicks last resort. There job is to insult you in every way they can, but all in fun. You ask for mustard for your burger, and the waitress comes back with a handful of packages and literally throws them on the table, here is your bleeping mustard.

Then we all got personalized hats. Quite funny! And Betty got up and danced with the Mariachi band!

I colored my hair a few days ago. It was supposed to me a light auburn, but after only 5 minutes of the coloring process, it was turning really weird colors, so I washed it out. This it what it came out as!

Looks like everyone had loads of fun, and, that's what it's all about ..

Did some shopping, dropped by the cemetery .. WOW .. the place is looking splendiferous for sure .. I will take pics ..

Going to google how to cook Sea Bass .. then get it ready to fire into the oven later, kinda think a glass of wine on the patio sounds good right now .. its 85F with a lake breeze, perfecto !

Kids are welcome there, they adjust their attitude a bit for the kids. It is very family friendly!
There was a family sitting behind us, and the little girl got balloons filled with helium tied to her long hair, they were floating and pulling her hair up, and they called her an airhead!

I have a new litter of baby bunnies in my front yard. I am NOT thrilled. My front yard has chain link fence around it, so I think the only way in is through the wrought iron gate from the back yard, which has wood privacy fencing. I don't want them going back that way, because the back is the dog's yard, and the dogs will catch them. I removed the hardware at one corner of the fence and pulled the chain link back so they can get out. I saw a rabbit in the yard yesterday and went to chase it out, she let me get pretty close before she ran off, and when I walked back where she was sitting, I could see the tops of some baby bunny heads in a shallow hole. The babies are little, you could probably fit 2 or 3 in one hand, easily. I didn't see momma this morning, but she's been hanging around a lot the past two weeks. I'll buy some low fencing and put it up so they can't get in the yard with the dogs, and leave the fence pulled back so momma can come and go. I just need them to grow up quickly, and go somewhere else! Any idea how long they are in the nest? I guess I can't mow the front lawn. Any advice?

Someone should be able to tell you.
Course, it's FRIdAY ..
Our 20 yr old cat, Smokey, would be the one I worry about, he has caught 3 young bunnies in his years and proffered them to me with a satisfied MIAOW .. NOT impressed ..
Would the Humane Society take them ?
I know we have some bunnie babies on the property somewhere .. i see the adults scoot by quite often ..

BAD news for Lorna :(
She HAD an appt Aug 13 with the orthopedic surgeons team re what to do with her right knee, they called today and rebooked her for Sept 17 !!!
Course I was outside hanging out clothes, missed the message, called them back and left a message stating she could have MY appt with the team on Aug 23, it's not a critical appt, just a follow up a year after my surgery .. course .. NO call back yet .. they work for another hour ..
I guess as much as we do NOT want to, we might have to go and sit in emerg .. not that that would help as she has to be assessed well before a cortisone shot as she is on a blood thinner.
Feel so bad for her, and there she is, out working and anticipating the appt .. haven't told her yet, will wait til she gets home ..

Have to go out to the garage .. it's about 300-400' from the house, the dogs enclosure is between, all chainlink .. however, there's a bear about .. the neighbour called to warn me.
SO .. gonna take a whistle and my car alarm panic thingy.

Yes FB is messed up for some reason. WTG on the appts. for you and Lorna. Mom will stay away from the baby bunnies during the day and return to them at night.
