I'm still feeling yucky. IvE been on the couch all day. Couldn't drink coffee, tea or eat crackers. Potato sounded gross to me, so I just ate a banana. And you all know how much I LOVE bananas. Blech...but I ate it anyway cause it's one of the top tummy settlers.

Looked to me like she is manic/depressive and not on medication. I've had to deal with this enough that I feel I could write a book. Hubby's sister has it and so does mine. Mine thought taking St John's Wort was enough, NOT, has been good about meds for a long time now and I wish I could feel comfortable with it but I just cannot trust that there won't be a huge explosion over nothing. Still walk on eggshells and avoid as much as possible.

Well at least the house is calm again .......Yes Karen manic depressive or maybe a mean drunk .But she definitely had some issues from somewhere .I do pray she gets help for whatever is wrong .

Thanks all who reported this person. I was telling Kim about the post and she immediately said she thought we were dealing with someone that is referred to as a "troll". The find threads such as ours for the very purpose of causing an uproar. Mostly not who they say they are, stories usually made up and they get their delights for the turmoil and post we responded back. Sad. Anyways, onward and upward.

I love Rick So Much (though at times he can push me to the edge....LOL) .Here it is HIS Birthday and I sent him to town to get chicken for dinner . A while back I put a post on FB that said " I'm Not Bossy,I Just Know What You Need To Be Doing" so ever since then I'll tell him I'm not being bossy .........LOL. My mom used to tell me "you better lighten up or he'll leave you" ,well here it is almost 20 years later and he is still here.......I think I'm stuck with him .....LOL .

The UPS man brought a package today,some vitamins I had ordered. Anyhow he literally stood in the yard and THREW it over the banister of the porch and the 10' width of the porch to the door !And we wonder why we sometimes we receive stuff broken . Thank goodness they were all plastic bottles ,I do get a few that come in glass bottles !

Oh yeah and another thing that happened today was a man knocked on the door asking if he could go through our burned trash pile to retrieve the cans .I of course told him yes ,but I would think that you would have to be pretty bad off to go through someone's burnt trash pile (broken glass ,soot and God only knows what other yuck ) And what is sad this isn't the first time someone has ask........Like Rick said when I told him ,see someone is always worse off than you/us !

Well Marion, I'm always willing to give someone the benefit of the doubt, I think we all pretty much do, but this chickie was off beam from the get-go. We really did give her as much of a chance as possible. Really not surprised she finally blew. Bi-polar is tough to deal with both for the person who has it and for others around them.

Yeap, had the 2 GDs for dinner and we had a fantastic time. This was the first time ever they were allowed to go with just me and Kim to do their school shopping. Needless to say it was loads of fun until I had to come home as the pain in my leg got so bad. CB stayed with me while Abbi and Kim finished shopping and got things for dinner......first time we have had a one on one for any length of time. Oh the cuddles I got. Yes, I know I am carrying on but it was a very good day for this grandma......you can probably see me grinning still.

Yes Linda Kay we have had our ups and downs and is still the typical male gender .But that being said I think I did pretty good at weeding out the toads before I found my Prince !

I must have missed some posts because I am wondering just what happened that Christina was pulled from DG. Maybe it is a good thing because I sure hate being in the middle of bad feelings, etc. So, today I had my salt & pepper hair cut and permed. I feel so much better, but this heat and humidity really knocks me out.

MY son is still going through lots of papers, etc. in the garage. He came across some pictures of Darwin taken in front of a couple of the rigs he drove. Have no idea when they were out in the garage, but Tim says he is looking for those hundred dollar bills he may have stashed away. Well, good luck because I know he wont find any kind of "treasure troves".

I do have tech insurance on my new computer so might as well use it. Don't know how I happened to get into my mail & DG without any pop-ups. Couldn't seem to get into my computer so I could have tech clean it up. I'll play around a little and may by accident find a fix. Thanks Karen for all the information.

Want to make this clear to all my sistahs here this morning. I didn't invite Christina to this group. The last person, I personally sent an invite was to Ronna. I thought her sweet nature will fit right in.
When Christina started being active here, I did check on her 'history'. She joined DG in 2009. She had started a few threads before, but relating to plants and or photography.
I don't know what prompted her to join this group. I had mentioned lurkers, but they are known to me, through dmails. Christina wasn't one of them.
Maybe it's God's way to remind us that this group is really a gem. Numbers may be small, but the sistahs here really take to heart when one or more is being attacked.
I hope we will never encounter another bi polar personality here. I just want some sweet interruptions on DG.

Linda Kay all of Christine's nasty posts were deleted by admin ........I'm very glad she is gone ,but I pray that her getting reprimanded and kicked off of Dave's doesn't make her do something even worse than being a vulgar weak minded mean bully . She really needs professional help and I pray that this was a wake up call and she gets it.But I'm sure she feels justified and will just be more bitter. The hardest thing to do in life is to look at yourself in a mirror and see the TRUE reflection !

when I first hurt my back years ago I was seeing a doctor here in town that came in from San Antonio and after about 6 visits he told me to go back to work that the back pain is all in my head and if it was painful go to the bathroom with a box of tissues and cry I have never been so upset

he toold me to tell my docter, to think of a way to keep me from going to the er.

Oh man they have no business being Drs.
I've had enough mis-treatment that I will never again blindly trust something just because it comes from a Drs. mouth.

Kathy, I would file a complaint with the hospital!

The dr. on duty last nite was a jerk. I know the other drs. and they would never say anything like that.

I would demand to see the head staff or file a complain, Sis.
He's not taking his oath seriously.

Finally back home but a bit woozy! My knees are wear and tear of living but not ready for replacements yet. Got a shot in each knee cap (Ouch, oweee, yikes!!!) plus one for pain and muscle relaxation. Oh do I feel floaty. Met the GDs, again, for lunch and of course they insisted on coming home with us. Abbi is deeply engrossed in a book and CB is helping Kim shred papers. Grandma? We she is just gonna sit back and let the meds to their thing.

Good idea Marion. Enjoy their visit but take care to rest yourself.

Well, one more week and a couple of days and Bob & I head out for our first camping trip this year!! SO looking forward to it! For 5 nights, leaving on August 4th!!!! Very excited!
First though, I have to finish the June month end and the Year End (June 30th..... yikes, I'm not feeling like the brightest bulb in the box....... I am liking the refresher course of bookkeeping at school though. It's been 11 years, and it's about time I did a refresher lol
Bob & I are both liking our jobs. If I can get a handle on the month and year-ends, then I'll be a lot happier - as will others!!
