So laughing Deb..guess we shouldn't abbreviate.
LindaKay love the design done in rwb's ..its the pattern I did the tree skirts in..loved doing that pattern.

I've been getting in the habit of taking photo's of what I do and go back to them now and again, it's just amazing what the eye doesn't catch that a photo does. Tell Todd he has a good eye. Boo hoo, guess I'm not your swap partner, would have been lovely to set on back verandah settee for visual effect. Must go out tomorrow and see if I can find the patriotic tote, I almost think I might have thrown a few Canadian pieces in it as well.

So Debbie, do you think I should leave them for a bit?? Thought of you throughout the day..
Wish it were this weekend I was going over to buffalo.

LindaKay, guess with all that dries up in your region that lots of green would be acceptable as garden growth.

Suzanne needed a sitter for her grandaughter who was home ill..Audrey Rose just turned 2 earlier this month so off I went..I am so NOT good with wee folk, start enjoying them about 6 rs or so..was hard trying to understand what she was telling me except for her telling me she pooped, yikes that wasn't pleasant..didn't know where everything was but she took my hand and showed me, even wanted wipes for her hands..later I had to go 'p' she followed me, looked in toilet bowl and said yukk.

Yukkk, omg yukk was hen I changed her behing. Lol

But we played with jewelery and mii mouse and I learned the word 'MINE'

Awww hugs Debbie♡♥♡♥
If it were me...I'd just go right on over and introduce myself to the little guy. And ignore parents as much as possible.

Morning everyone,

Debbie woke with you on my mind, so hoping today will be a special day and that you get to spend time with your grandson..sending prayers/hugs

Karen, love the family photo enjoying themselves, precious times. Have abreast time today..perfect day for a wedding

Gorgeous day out there, actually put cushions on far back patio set and sat and enjoyed a coffee

This sunshine day has added more work to my 'to do' list, not until the sun is shinning through the side/frontman windows does it embarrassment, lordythey are dirty. Just noticed at my front door a postal notice, didnt see it there yesterday advising me a letter awaits me, hurrah, only thing I can think it could be is my passport, will make a quick trip when it opens and also pick up window cleaner and start my day,by then it should be safe to cut grass and not wake everyone up

In the meantime I shall do some quilting on my RWB.

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

Up and at'em here for a while now .. in other words .. SLEEP is overrated .. watched the clock from 3am til about 5:15am ..
Murray's (DS) bday today .. had put a notice in the paper, couldn't find it, brother Bob called me an said it was on page D .. whew .. was getting rather irrate !!!
Coffee and cake tonight at their home .. will TRY my hardest to enjoy, but, the D in L and myself are painfully nice to one another .. guess you could say that our relationship is 'the elephant in the room' ... her parents are aware of the underlying animosity too .. so DH just sits close to me, as does Murray .. and everyone counts down the minutes before we leave, which, in this case will be 90 minutes LoL .. you can PICK your friends, but, not your family .. thank goodness for the 2 grandkids ..

Cool and slightly damp here, showers off and on .. I think I'll do house stuff, Lorna is going out to do more tree pits ..

Karen, awesome family pic !

Debbie .. thoughts are with you .. hugs ..

Betty, I have 'NOSE ART' on 50% of the windows in the house .. signed by Lilly, Piper and Smokey .. I make my own window cleaner, so, I guess I'll use it today ..

Take care, have fun everyone :-)

Wasn't that close to Mel for some years but as we are aging it seems we are bonding more, that being said I watch my pj's and q's..

How does your hubby get along with her? 90 minutes is a long time. Lol

"M" Dianne must have sent more skitters our way, last batch passed me on by but this time they are lingering. Should go into town and see if I can buy a fogger..left mine at the house, bought another, left it at the arm now could I ever use one.

Ohhh got my passport, good for 10 years, likely I'll not need another

While n town met some friends, Janice who used to paint with me and is friends with Rita thought I should maybe have a sew evening so will call Mel, Rita and Suzanne and set a night up, might keep me up past 8pm and a time to chat and catch up while haing loads of laughs.

Did my windows, now the house looks clean, always say if windows are dirty regardless how clean house is it still looks dirty.

Did sew on the throw quilt, got the flag almost done but now comes sewing around those stas, that is a job in itself, not hard just time consuming..doing bits here and there, by later this afternoon it should be ready for the binding.

I would think that the grass should be dry enough for me to start capturing, still quiet n neighborhood but it's time they get up don't you think!

Have a bit of trim to paint, maybe I'll set pieces outside and paint..

Desperately need my car vacuumed and washed

If I were to get these things done then I'd have tomorrow just to sit in the sun

Ohh Marion, had packed that embroidery too and thread and for the life of me couldn't find it, went to get something other side of furnace and coils there is a box, assuming its yours..here is hoping, that way I can mail it Saturday when/if in Buffalo

Hooe you aren't believing that.

mulege, Mexico

Hi
everyone,

It's all goodd here. And I'm exhausted.

Next week we will do what is necessary and pay what we have to to get the car registered in Tony's name AND the land my house sits on paid for !!! Many problems solved with a few days. I am very tired and am going to rest while Tony goes to town for a box of chicken legs for the dogs.

Wiill check in later.

Debbie, I'm hugging you all the time. I remember a time I was talking to a boy who was being bullied at school and I said, quietly, "Kids can be so mean." His head spun towards me. I think that until then he didn't believe anyone else really understood how much it hurt. I know how much it hurts and wish I could deliver a few swift kicks to the proper butts.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Amen to that, Katie!

Stop that crap talk Betty! You're going to need more passports than this one!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Katie, are you also putting house in Tony's name..does that help make things easier for registration , maybe it could be put in oth names but then I'm sure you thought of that. Come on up to Buffalo Katie and I will help you kick butt,

Joyce, if my gardens are 1/2 of what yours are re growth I bet you just want to stay outside..so beautiful right now..get a kick out of seeing what is new each day, yep have some pretties..few bushes are in bloom, have to take a photo.

Ame n for a breal, got all done I an do with ridding mower, will take a beak then get the push mower out..like it or ot, this evening I am doing ditches.

If I sit there goes my energy so off to quilt a bit

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Oh that's a riot Betty, you gonna sit in the sun all day. LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Ready to head to the park to do decorations for the wedding.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Sounds like such a fun festive wedding!

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

😊. I love me garden!

Victoria Harbour, ON

I know you do ..was at the back shed today digging up another, behind the dg sign post, was digging and asking myself what was wrong with my head. Another thought came, some seniors likely have given up their flower gardens and miss that, wonder if I could put an add somewhere offering them my gardens, weed picking is therapy right? Lol

Cut some deadwood and thought I might sit by the firepit this evening, maybe a marshmallow roast just me myself and I

In the meantime am sewing a border on the RWB throw

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

I'd love to be with you...I know Judy would as well!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

"M" how did the birthday party go?

Well you would be helping me Joyce pick weeds while Judy would be cleaning out the firepit
lol

Debbie you are still in my thoughts tonight..so hope you were able to see your grandson..not happy with Paul that he hasn't told your daughter and SIL how this is just not right!

didn't end up going out and lighting a fire, Kyle came to visit for an hour, wanted to show me his car..Greg was leaving for work yesterday, was looking not to get too close to the ditch, somehow he hit Kyle's car, mega damage to one side, truck needs $7,500 worth of work..Kyle just said it was an accident, car can be fixed.

rwb throw done
shrubs are starting to bloom
goat's beard has grown over a foot just since Monday, if it keep that up it will be in bloom shortly

off to bed,
tired tonight

Well that is good news Debbie..was an emotional day for you. Here is hoping now that you made the 1st step she will take the 2nd. Iwill she be going back to work, that's usually when mom's get the call for help..how is andy with you? sure hope you were able to sleep..just remember, little steps.

Joyce I asked Kyle where his parents were tonight? Mel was at her childhood girlfriends for the ay, Greg had gone with a friend to a car race about 200 miles from here, friend has an electric car and he s racing it,mthen Greg was meeting up with them for supper....I then asked Kyle what Noah was up to, he said he hadn't seen him all week, oh why I say, we're you not home?
Yes but Noah has been at his girlfriends house all week, mom and dad said as he was so unhappy at home that he had to leave..guess Noah telephones 3 times and asked to come home but the answer was 'no'

Would imagine he will be home this week..might do him good being away..not sure girlfriends mom will keep driving into midland for work and pick him up, about an hours ride each way..

Tough live, hard isn't it!!

All stuffed up, just put Vicks on, maybe I will fall back to sleep..on my 2nd movie

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the update on Noah! It is a tough life, and I hope he goes back home soon. How old is Noah now?
Hope your feeling better soon Betty.
There must be something in the air, because I woke up all stuffed up and sneezing too! My right eye is swollen shut. So I am off for a hot shower.

Great time yesterday, turn out was less than kids had thought it to be, but that seems to happen here. People seem to treat invitations casually. Food was good, company was very nice, enjoyed meeting the rest of Bryan's family. Afterward we went back to the hotel, kids swam and adults continued the celebration. Finally broke up a bit after 11.

Kids have done their usual swapping places so we need to get the ones we have here back to the hotel and pick up the ones of ours there. Get to say a final farewell to the travelers. We will be joining them later this week. Going to have a well deserved day of rest today....I hope.
