poor jess. sending prayers
Sweet Interruptions. Rm. 286
Morning everyone! Coffee is ready!
pour mr a cup, i'm here, I think
Nice and strong to wake ya up! How is your eye healing?
my eye is much better thanks. dpon't itch as much as it did, and it's noe open
Glad to hear it is doing better!
thanks, it was driving me crazy
Good morning sistahs.
Susan popped in and brought the police with her! Lol!! I can certainly say for us all here, our prayers may take long for you and Bob to be answered, but God knows the reason. He always want what's best for you both. And through the hard times, your needs are still met.
May Jess recover quick, Synda. For a man that loves bikes, he will be miserable knowing he'd got to be off his bike for months.
Ronna, me too love pb cookies! Never heard of smashing a pb cup in the middle of a cookie. I can already taste the ooey goodness.
How was the garden show and your DGD's wedding Cookie?
Is Bill feeling up to par now?
Goodness gracious Sis Kathy! I think the only part of your body that's still unaffected by unfortunate accidents are your ears.
Pegi, maybe you could give Darwin a tsp of honey stirred into his drinks? Honey is supposed to boost energy, and at this point, every little bit helps.
((((Pegi))))
Well MIL started with her tirade on how no one is willing to take care of her. Guess I'm no one!! Lolol!!
It didn't bother me one bit as her sarcasm now is only a reminder that zebra can't change stripes.
She said.. so said.. that she had checked out the prices of nursing homes, and they are beyond her means.
Guess she wanted us to assure her that she can live with us. Only Kel can respond to that, but he didn't. Arrrrggghhhh.. I'm dreading June already!
Not much going on, except that it's cool outside and I can be doing a little weeding :(
Don't we all jump up for joy for weeding time!!!!! ROFL!!!!!
Waving here LK... Sue... Karen have fun in Tn... and to my special lurkers who somehow refused to use their fingers!!! Lol!!
Have a blessed week my sistahs. God, help us laugh at ourselves!!

...but, but, if I use my finger I might break my nails. :-) NOT!!! Trying to get caught up on all the mishaps that have occurred since being home. Add to that I found the bathroom floor covered in water this morning. Think I will just go outside, play in the dirt and eat wooly worms.
Why is your floor covered in water?
Jaye don't over do it in the gardens!
At times like that, Marion, I'm ready to move out. My nails are long, but not for long. Just broke one and I don't make so many typing errors when they are short. Right now it is cool out so I better get busy. DH got in the tub yesterday, BIG MISTAKE! He is so weak so had a hard time trying to get out. Won't let him try that again. Another nurse came out in the evening and took his vitals. Now to get him to start eating some solid foods. Hard to see a man who once was 224 lbs. go down to 155 lbs. At least he isn't in such pain, a cleaning out took some of that away. Oh, those peanut putter cookies with smashed peanut butter cups sound so good. I'm drooling already. Poor Jess, pray that he heals fast and surgery is very successful.
Don't eat wooly worms they cause a lot of indigestion.
Pegi, you need to call for help next time he wants a shower or bath! Don't need to hurt yourself trying to help him!
We loves Ya Marion! don't eat the worms, just play in the dirt with them ♥♥♥
Leave those wooley worms alone! Get in your car and drive to the nearest Starbucks Marion.
Have a cup of latte and a piece of choco cake. Send me the bill!!
What do they say, when it rains it pours?? House is rebelling for you've been staying away too long though it's not your fault!! How's Kim feeling now?
Poor Darwin. I feel for you Pegi, no one nearby to call for help when you need it. Just sponge bath him, Pegi. That's what Kel had to do for his dad. He's taller than Kel and though he lost a lot weight, it's a struggle to help him in and out of the tub.
Yayyyy Cindy!!! Have you been using weights too?
Cindy that is awesome. Glad you popped in!
Love your Gardens are beautiful!
Fantastic Cindy - both your gardens and your weight loss. Great determination there.....
Jaye, my morning workout routine is~~~~~
15 minutes Express walk with the TV, then 15 minutes of squats, 15 minutes of weight lifting. Then I take my dogs for a two walk to the river so they can swim. One of these days i will jump in with them LOL ^_^
I WANT CHOCO CAKE
Looking good Cindy, you and your garden. Have you ever consider hiring yourself out as a landscaper? You'll be a good one, though you're not certified, proof of your work is your beautiful garden.
Go on Sis, have a choco cake on me. Just leave me the tab!!
Did someone say Choco Cake???? I'm here lol
poor Jess - prayers for him..........
yes, Jaye - I brought the Poe Poe lol And I knew all along that God had plans for us..... it was only when it became the year anniversary of me being out of work that it started to really get to me. But now - we're both happy, and I'm taking an online Accounting course. More of a sales pitch for Simply Accounting program lol
Marion - go ahead - eat wooly worms if you want - about time you did something for YOU (don't listen to them lol I want pictures lol)
WOW Synda - you look Hot!! Good on ya!!
Here's a funny for all y'all sewers out there lol http://prntscr.com/3kosli
Kathy those are so pretty!
thanks linda, I have dozens of cone flowers getting ready to open. daylilies too. I go out and look 3 times a day. wish they would hurry up
Save me some seeds from the cone flowers please?
yes I will. as many s you want.
^_^
Ah Susan..it's Cindy not Synda, lol
Cindy, beautiful lilies
Yes love the liles. You look great Cindy. Good for you. I have several daylilies and some orientals even have a few of those really tall ones. So pretty.
Wow poor Jess. Is he improving? It was a motorcycle accident right? Sorry i have a hard time keeping up on you all.
Love, love the gardens Cindy. Your weight lose is awesome....keep up the good work. I lost some while taking care of my sister but I don't recommend doing that way.
Okay, so I just played in the dirt...saved the poor little woolly worms for later. Besides, they tickle going down....:-)
Had an appointment with a digestive disease doc today but all my problems have been due to stress of the past few years. Increased my Prilosec for a while. Oh the problems stress can cause!
Got a last minute call telling me that there was an Art Show at the GDs school and I was supposed to attend. Nothing like advanced warnings. Indeed it was an art show and a talent program. Catie-Beth was in a band formed by 3rd graders and played the xylophone.....hadn't even told her parents about this. All in all a fun evening, then off we went to celebrate her 9th birthday. Time really flies.
LK, the seal around the base of the commode broke and water flooded the floor. Taken care of .
Nothing like short notice for those great surprise talent shows!
Glad you got the toilet fixed!
