Well, I am back home, and so tired, but I had a great time.

Ahhhhe is absolutely adorable..precious memories made this past weekend with grandma..love how moms are going into the cake and cupcakes..mouth watering here! Being tired wont help your recovery, are the meds helping any?

Meds are doing pretty good. Coughing is getting better.

Judy .. the DinL is someone who takes those kinds of table, and, smears'em in MAYONAISSE overnight .. wipes them off in the morning, and you would not believe the transformation .. quite incredible ..

Today was horrid .. I held it together until my DGD finally let go and with her my DGS .. and, GRAMMA let er rip .. my DinL actually was fine until she saw tears in Murrays eyes .. suffice to say a sad good bye.
As fate would have it .. DH brother and wife were on the same plane, first leg in their journey to Mexico .. so .. they traveled with Murr and had lunch with him in Winnipeg before he left to drive on to Brandon.

Murray made it to Brandon .. he starts his training today ... my cell phone (texting) is on over drive btw him and the kids .. so glad I have a good plan !

Lorna, unfortunately, is going in to see the prosthetist .. her socket is too high into her groin area, hurts like the dickens .. hopefully he can shave some of the material off the socket and still maintain a good fit ..

Making an appt with the hairdresser today .. bout coraked when I saw some of the pics from yesterday! I thought my hair was lookin OK longer .. well .. I had failed to notice how THIN it is, have lost kabunches with the chemo drug .. so .. off for a fix ..

Morning all

Sun is fighting to come out but rain forecasted but that is ok, it's not white and cold!

Not sure what we will get up to today, Dar is packing bit by bit but most staying here..I've got loads to take back as always.must make a point of going to post office today though.

"M" see, you are no further than your fingertips to Murray and family..before LNG you will be glad to get updates from Murray as to how he is enjoying his new job and kids have found new best friends.

Chemo is hard on a person but I shrug to think what the alternative would be.

Lazy day here today. I'm still very tired from the quilt show.
My brother and his wife dropped in yesterday for coffee and to tell me he is being tested for bladder/kidney cancer today. Please keep him in your prayers for me.....He is not looking forward to all the tests and I can't say as I blame him. Sounded pretty painful to me.

Darn it Barb, it hardly seems fair that we make it this far and still have health issues cropping up and loved ones to worry about.

I'm from a fairly large family yet all are gone except two aunts and they are in their 80's. Aside from them, I'm the oldest hard to believe. I guess it's a good thing I have so many younger than I.
Most of the time I feel OK and then I see my hands and think, those are the hands of an old woman, where did my hands go?

Aw, Barb, sorry about your brother's testing, hope all comes out well. Prayers have already gone up for him.

Marilyn, I think your hair looks great! I have to admit you don't look anything like I had you pictured in my mind though. Glad Murray made it safe and sound.

Postage is not so cheap anymore! Amazing how they keep jacking up the cost!

I am rested but still coughing. I had to get up this morning with Luna at 2:30 to let her out, started to go back to bed, and started coughing, so I sat down and did a breathing treatment with my nebulizer, then it make me shake for about 30 minutes. Doing better now.

Taking Betty's loving advice and coming to check in.

Has been a whirlwind here, lots of cleaning and purging in the house cleaning out the attic.

I was diagnosed with skin cancer, and had some minor surgery on Monday to have to lesions
removed from my leg. Was not a fun experience, and my love of the sun....has to be very closely monitored.

Facing some decisions in life....scary things. BUT I feel it is time.

Prayers...Hugs & love to you all...I will try and be better posting.

Yes, I know that. I have to wear a 30+ sunscreen....which I hate the feeling of. Have worn it last few years, but more of an afterthought right before going out. He said needs to be on me 20 minutes or more before going out to absorb....don't put it on sitting out there. Ooops.

My results came back that all the borders were clear now, so that means he got all the remainder of the cancer there.

M, my youngest, DD Jan, lives in Brisbane AU...8,600 miles from us. It is a 13 to 15 hour flight, one way. My heart goes out to you Re: Murray and family moving.

It's raining, has been all day and it is suppose to continue tomorrow. Sorry Betty.

Much better day! I think we might have found the problem medication at last. The anti anxiety med was stopped yesterday morning as it was the only one she was continuing to take. Had really bad double vision.......so she stopped it. Today she was much less agitated, more talkitive and was not seeing double. Called her doctor who changed the presciption....so far so good.

I hope this is the break through we needed. I feel much better now about she progressing forward rather than regressing.

Grandson is due last week of May, first week of June. She is so big...with 10 weeks to go, and
so uncomfortable already. I think she will go early because he has no more room.

Don't know if I posted the pic of her at 26 weeks or not...so here it is again. Her baby shower is
April 5, so we have been working on that. The theme is with alligators!! So cute actually.

I have to be up at 6:30 to take Kyle to work...not giving up my car, so saying good night.
