We're up early to get OUT early and all I want to do is go back to bed ..
But, have had my cereal, might have a cuppa .. then, off to the gym and then to pick up a few things following.

Just started the car, off to do groceries

Know what Mother Nature is trying to do, she has had us in deep freeze since early December, when finally we have low temps of 60 mid summer we will think its hot! Lol. Am sure Debbie and Dianne are getting much the same.

Can't believe I've got the sniffles/sore throat, haven't had a cold all winter, here I am ready to leave for Florida Friday and I start..at least it's now and not Friday right.

Car warmed up, time to go

No going out for me today I'm afraid. The temp won't be going above 20* if it gets that high and it is to be blustery winds. The winds are the worst thing for me. So in I'll stay. The WL are saying no warmer temps all week!!! I'm ready to climb whatever walls are left that I haven't climbed yet......I have a doctor appointment with the pulmonologist on Thursday and I'm going no matter how cold or windy it is. Norm has put in for the day off from work to take me. I always have him go with me as half the time I don't remember all the doctors tell me. I call him my backup!!!!
I think I will sew today on Brandon's quilt. I have 9 blocks made and each is 20 X 20 so I'll sash and join them. Then I need a trip out to get borders and backing....The top was made with a navy blue/white batik jelly roll and small yardage of white and some lime green batik.
So I'll be on a mission then when warm temps prevail.
Off to do my breathing machine for this morning. be back later......

Weather liars for sure Barb, car registered -21 not factoring in wind chill..wind is just a gusting..was glad to get in get groceries and home.

Spring will be here and you'll be able to sit outside and enjoy so get your sewing done now..smilling here, having met Norm I know he's a sweetie, guess you couldn't give him swatches and have him find fabric for the quilt?? Lol

Don't you love it when you don't need actual food but staples? Cat foot/liter/treats/garbage bags/ Saran wrap/laundry soap/dishwasher detergent/ fleecy/toilet paper/hand towels and the likes and your bill is over $100. Things you can't do without..just think of the fabric I could have bought.

Have a stew cooking, thinking of getting bread maker out, then downstairs to see what I can get up to.

Sun is shinning, tempting to sit right here in its rays...even saw a indie or two.

Morning everyone! Windy, but 62 here today, that will be our high temps for the day. Yesterday was 85. Sure wish I could send some warm weather up north!

Kids are outside playing, I will be taking them home in a few hours. Yesterday I took them to a pizza place, that had arcade games also, they played for 4 hours in that place. I gave them each $20.00 and told them time to go home when it is gone. They did pretty good, and had a great time.

Well you've certainly entertained them LindaKay..we're they there for March Break? Everyone has such different dates, ours were last week.

Cold temps for you but still enjoyable.

Put a suitcase on the bed, packing up odds/soda, Lordy need.a suitcase to carry just what I'm mailing out..don't want to forget swap items or what I've promised to mail..if I've said I'd mail you something please remind me..have your LndaKay set by the case already.


An easy day, had 5 Christmas pieces done that needed appliqué stitch around leaves and berries so I do one, come upstairs and cut all thread from the piece, get it ready to quilt then on to another..one more and they ate done..

Did have a specialty one I wanted to make and mail while south but not so sure at this rate I will get it done...hmmm we'll see

Good Morning and good day!

I am one happy lady...literally did a happy jig, in the Harport and then for real. OMG, went out last night and ROFLOL, Closed the the bar at 3AM. Holie smackaroonies, cant even remember the last time i stayed up past 10p.m. let alone 3:30 AM.

Have a good trip Linda Kay! Sounds like the visit was great...OK, got everything working again.
Lost power for almost 2 hours last night. Ended up having to reset everything,sigh. but yay my world is back in order. LOL, I was quite upset because I was planning on playing around the threads today. Finally called DH for password, wallah here I are.

Barb, big smiles...thank you I am glad to be back posting. Wow, Brandons quilt sound real nice. Hope the weather warms up soon. LOL about climbing the walls. We went to the Cottage last week for for a change of scenery.

Steve finished this humungous job last week. So was in badly needed rest. So off we went. Upon our arrival, the house was a whopping 17* Loaded up Bertha and Baby B, left for dinner a couple of hours, came back it was 30* load them both again and left for another 2 hours. Came back it 50* so slept on the couch until upstairs was warmer. Then we both slept almost until noon! Yep we needed it. It is just sooo quiet there. But the ticking of the clock was driving me bonkers, lol...Anyway, we were going to do nothing, not an easy thing for either of us. Was sitting in basement having a smoke, couldn't stand the floor dust, so thought I'll just sweep, well you have shift things around so We ended up re-organizing. That basement was the catch all for everything, ewwww what a giant mess! Not anymore, welll hehehe, its a start. Think we are going to head up there this coming weekend. So i'm gathering the stuff we want to take up there.
Breenie is on Spring Break, think she wants to go too.

So anyways, Guess who gets to go the Sistah gathering!!! I am so excited.
Mind is racing all over the place. I was starting to get a little worried. Steve, asked how far half way to Sunshines is, uh dunno...So txtd as fast as i could, smiling away, knowing that finally, my question was being answered!! Yahoo, We are meeting up in Indianapolis. Thank You Sunshine!

so you know all these years later...I figured out how to get a decent pay for my hard work! LOL, Ill show ya in my next post, lol with pictures so you can see just how screwed up I was, hahaha.

Screwing Around!
ok so in that first picture, All this stuff was on DH' dresser! in those three containers in the far right corner of my table.
well and scattered about the dresser...LOL, it was driving me bonkers trying to find anything, so decided to take care of the issue! LOL, DH, was so excited he asked me to sort out his box of screws and such (2nd pic) and then when it was almost finished, OMG we could be a hardware store! Box was a disaster... Quite the project took me 3.5 days to do and another 2 just to get everything back to proper storage. Lots of up and down the stairs, lol good exercise. Made Dh, do his part and re-load box. Because he then mixes like screws together, which i will not do, after sorting. Anyway He'd come home and ask what i did for the day, ROFLOL, told him I screwed around all day!
So when i finished, I said...so you think this is worth 30 dollars?? He said more like 50!! ROFLOL, just got to low ball and he will adjust accordingly!
So i was telling Linda Kay about it it and the thought came to mind, that is how Im going to gathering...LOL,
After that, I sorta said hey If i get all your stuff sorted and cleaned and put away, think I'll earn enough to go the Sistah gathering?? He just looked at me like your kidding right. But i kept at it, and then got my answer yesterday. Just gotta love when a plan works well.

Holly gee Judy, that's a job and a half..when you finish there I've got a woodworking room with loads of much the same that needs organizing.

So glad you get to go to the reunion, would so love to but it being during the week excludes me or I'd take a flight down.

Now time at the cottage is for recouping energy, a few days to rest, enought time to for you to clean before summer..still renting it out this summer? As the years go by it will be more difficult for you to be there with all the kids, at the age that it's school and work and friends that take up their time so enjoy the one on one with Breenie.

Drats, spoke to mom, answered the phone crying..she had been to the cottage yesterday , too much for her so soon, the, words with Sharon, both know they can't spend 2 minutes talking and it's a fight.

No sooner got off the phone did the phone ring, cousin who calls me aunt Betty as I was raised with his mom called to say his dad was back at the seniors home..home I say?? Guess Doug was with Greg Monday and said tell your mom that dad is not expected to live, guess who didn't call me..luckily he is somewhat better..have a call out to Greg, he is snowmobiling..guess who is not a happy mom

Warm and very windy down here Betty. The pollen is horrible this year so be prepared for that!!

How long will you be in Ft. Myers? Depending on the situation with Sue, I might be able to met up with you this time. It really depends on her level of progress and anxiety attacks. Of course, she would be with me as she still has to have one with her 24/7. Wanting to live now but we are doing this to be on the safe side for a while. Today was a setback, not sure what caused it and may never will know. I think it is part of the situation. Oh well, I have been able to get her to eat some things and I will consider that progress.

I leave Friday, Dar will pick me up at noon, Saturday we are if weather permits going boating for the day, if terrible weather then Sunday.

Will have my iPad with me so we can keep in contact..not to worry if we don't, looking after yourself and family comes first.
