Hi everyone ..

I think Betty might be frozen !! I inadvertently sent colder weather her way as well as Diannes, sorry guys, my punishment is now even COLDER weather, to the tune of -45 tonight ..I must say this has been a winter to remember even though I don't WANT to !!

Took the dogs to be groomed today .. Gord and I usually drop them off before 9am and then go for breakfast .. then we go grocery shopping !!
I intended to buy X amount of groceries, and drove off with $200. !!!! In FOUR bags !!
Just now cooking up liver treats for the dogs .. they love'em, and, I know lots of you like liver too .. all I can do to get through the boiling and slicing LoL

Sure do hope everyone is doing well and, keeping warm and healthy .. ^_^

This is really strange for Betty not to be on more often. Thanks M for freezing here and depriving all of us of her daily chats. LOL Seriously, are you okay Betty?

I can't eat liver.....the more I chew the larger it gets. Think this is from having had it so often as a child living on a farm. Dad butchered frequently and we always had fresh liver....not me any more. I have a turkey breast cooking today. Kids requested it. Sure wishing it was soup instead as it is grey raining and temps are falling rapidly now. Oh well another time.

I love most kinds of liver,,,nuff said. SIL's dad always said that about coconut. The longer you chew it the more you get.


Well I'm ready to head down state on Friday. #10 great granddaughter is arriving on Sat. She will be very small as it's a bit early and her mom has small babies. Dr. thinks she will be almost 5 lbs.
I found some preemie outfits today, so her wee bottom won't be nekkid.
Oh her name is Rebecca Grace Ann, the Rebecca Ann is for her grandma, my oldest daughter who in turn was named for my most loved great grandmother. The Grace is on her dad's side.

I love the name Grace too, One of our lost babies was named Grace, so it has special meaning to our family also.

Karen, you did what I did and got the same result. Admin is doing other things and then telling me there is no problem. Thanks for following instructions and confirming that my computer is not acting on its own.

I think many people doing a search will do what we did and come up with 3 matches, arther than 6. Moringa o. is becoming known as a superfood so I think Admin might want to have their search functioning properly but they would rather keep insisting that I am wrong.

I did make a mistake - once - but this wasn't it.

Woke up at 4:30 with pain. I'd slept about five hours yesterday midday. Not sure I should call it sleep when I work for an hour or so and then pass out. Went to sleep last night about 9:30. Hoping pain pills will be at the post office today. Meanwhile, I'm grateful that the pain doesn't keep me awake most of the time.

I've gotten a few small chores done. I don't want Tony to think I stayed in bed and watched TV the whole time he was gone.

Got dragonfruit tied up around the new arbor and managed to dig up a clump of vetiver (probably what wore me out). Got a few tires painted and out to the new garden.

AAnd, most important, I've kept the dogs and Chocolate the cat fed.

Bitter bitter cold day, car registered -30 when I went to Foodland for kittie food. Thinking of how cold it is here, can't imagine Labrador and how Greg must be cold..tell myself not to go there.

Met Andrew who plows for me doing LCBO lot, said he'd be here shortly so sitting with coat/boots on waiting for his arrival...bright out there though, sun is actually trying its best to come out.

Think there is a glitch with furnace, likely more the new thermostat, goes to 68 and freezes..will wait for Greg's return next week, in the meantime turn on the 3 fireplaces and toasty we shall be.

Darlene called last night, seems not long ago I drove her to Florida and in 3 weeks it's time for me to fly down and pick her up. She had the roof on her p,ace done yesterday,mnothing else needing to be done so she was happy with that.

What else to say, not much, keeping quiet, resting and learning to deal with pain, so the doctor says I must do..imaginary illness, he says fibromyalgia other than my hip pain..went to health food store yesterday vs pharmacy for drugs and see if any of it helps.

Today I will play in the sewing room a bit, was given a quick pattern for use of either a wall hanging or table topper, wouldn't take LNG to do I'm sure..pattern says beginner pattern, watch me be stumped with it.

I could bitterly complain about our freezing temps, but, it wouldn't help, AND, we are one fire away from ZERO wood !!
Have burned it for 18 years,this is the FIRST time we have run out, usually by now we are able to have a fire a day as opposed to leaving the woodstove burning ALL day ..
NO WOOD to be found here :-(
Worry about our son having to use his ELECTRIC heat .. electricity is SO EXPENSIVE !!!
Here we have 4 acres of wood, can't get at it for snow and cold !!!

Betty, are you taking 'glucosamine', a fairly hefty dose .. maybe 1350 or 1750mgs? It'll take 2 weeks to build up in your system, but, it sure does work for joint stifness.

We are off to pick up some parcels at the border .. Lorna is waiting for CAA (AAA) to boost her truck, deader than a doornail !!
The wait is sitting at 8 hours !!!! It's -45 here .. trust me, this is darned welll brutal !!

Betty, sorry to hear you have fibromyalgia. My Nephews wife has that, and she is going through so much with that and her arthritis. Some days she can tolerate the pain, other days forget it, she stays in bed. Hoe they can find meds that work for you!

Just called the sewing studio where I got my electric blade sharpener Monday, they have a sale tomorrow, asked if they had that I piece ruler 24" that has the molded side piece to help with cutting..as hand are paining as well and we know that I'll not quite crafting until I'm on my death bed thought some tools can make it easier for me. Not sure if I'll wait till Monday to pick it up or take a fast ride nto Barrie in the mornimg..how come everything I want is. $79.99???
