Marion I hope your sister is doing better. Karen, congrats on the beautifull new baby. So tiny is she doing better? My daughter wants to use the middle name of Grace also. A very sweet old fashioned name. Love it. She will be doing great really soon.
beautiful baby Karen ♥♥♥
many hugs miss Marion ♥♥♥ travel safe.
Barb, I am curious...do you get a flu shot?? I have asthma and difficulty breathing when it gets cold, always been very susceptible to any kind of respiratory ailment going around. If I get a cold, I usually end up in bed for a few weeks. Bronchitis, etc...
My Dr. has told me NOT to get the flu shot. Husbands Dr tells him to get it every year. he also gets the pneumonia shot. he has had that twice.
On average I get REALLY sick once every couple of years. been very lucky.
I have allergies, and if I don't stay on top of them I end up with asthma problems. started taking allergy meds about a week ago, oak leaves started falling, that means new shoots starting, new shoots means here comes the pollen!!
I get a flu shot every year Thunder. And I have had the pneumonia shot as well. Think I may be due for another this year. I, too get allergies and take an anti histamine the minute they start. With the COPD, I find the Mucinex does a wonderful job if I take it at the first sign of anything feeling heavy in my chest. It is usually gone by the next day. I don't wait for any mucus to build up if I can catch it first. So far - so good!!! (This year has been especially easy on me and I can't help but think it is because I was not out and about with all the others who might have had colds. I've only been out about 8-9 times since Dec 1st and I think that helped me. I am lucky in that I don't need to go to a job every day anymore.)
How is your sewing coming along?
I'm so happy about the Rebecca but Grace is special to us too. One of our quads was named Grace.
Grace is also the first name of our granddaughter number two. Number one is Rachel.....
And then we went to the younger kids who named their girls Madison and Sophia. And of course I have my Brandon and Sean.....
Back from urgent care. Guess the bronchitis never went away, or the ear infections and sinus infection. Came home with 5 meds to take.
I finished the round robin for Susan. have one other to work on. I think it is Anita's??
I am behind on Delightful Stars, have not done the big block. have not even read the info on sashings & borders.
still need to do the Aurifil block, and Globetrotting, but there is time left on those.
trying to come up with a plan for a new quilt for Levi and Meg. they want oriental-ish , they have a few beautiful fans with oriental designs, and a few figurines in their bedroom. I have been gathering pieces here and there. have a few thoughts. need to figure out how to execute them. a Tori was one of his units insignia, and it means something special to him, so I want to include one of them some how.
LindaK, sure hope those meds fix it this time.
Me too Linda Kay.
