labs came back, there was muscle with the tissue, but no cancer

That's great that there is no cancer ! Did he say how long it will be swollen ? Or what you can do to alleviate it ?

Glad to hear all is OK. Maybe some ice packs?

Susan I liked the picture of your mom. Nice smile. Have a great week all. I am keeping my fingers crossed for more patients who need to eat at the hospital! Lol. We are probably going to be lowneeded again. I have been filling out apps for another job, but no luck as of yet. Really hard to find anything else now.

We got some rain finally, but didn't last long. Started last night around 8 PM and came down in buckets, but an hour later it stopped and we haven't seen any sign of more rain. At least it cleared the air out a little while.

Wow - hard to believe that MY birthday is coming up next month.... the "Big 6 0!!" yikes, when did I get THIS age....... and still no job.... ah well, things are looking up this week.
I'm going to a "Job Club" at the gov't agency that's trying to help me, tomorrow at 11.

We sold Bob's truck today - posted it on Kijiji.ca last night - got about 8 requests to buy it (at $5k, it was a steal, even with a few $k of work to be done - it's worth $12k at least). Fellow came by, put $200 down, and now we're waiting for his payment to be made to the Loan co, for the BuyOut on the loan. So, sold for $5k, $4 to go to the Loan co, which gives us a profit of $1k BUT we no longer have the payments of $690/month to make!! It would have been paid off in Sept, but as least it's DONE now.... no more worrying about making the payments!!!!!

Safest if you all go to make payoff. That way you are assured it is done properly and goes into his name and yours is totally off. Better safe than sorry, sad to say so many scams around these days.

Karen - without the payout & release, he can't register the truck - there's a lien on it.
Once we get notification from the Loan co, then we'll let him have the truck - bill of sale & all.
Until we sign the bill of sale, if he takes the truck, it would be stolen.
Trust me - we'll have all our "ducks in a row"

It seems the only computer problems I'm having now is with the pogo games I play. But still going to get a new desktop. I was reading about refurbished one on HP website. They make it sound like it is a good deal, boy was I surprised to see Walmart has to many of them on line.

My Sis bought a refurbished one two years ago from Wal-Mart and she has no complaints.

May think about a refurbished computer, they are pretty resonably priced. I finally got my Java working so I can play my games. If someone asked what I did I don't think I could tell them. There are still some issues that need to be fixed, but I can't do them myself so as long as things are going along OK I'm satisfied.
