Right Susan!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh Dianne, it isn't me that likes liver....sorry. It does smell good cooking but after that no thanks. :-)

Nice day today but had way to much running around to take care. Had my car serviced as I live Monday for a week plus with my sister. This will be my first trip back since mom passed and it already seems odd knowing I won't be going to the nursing home. Will be helping get ready for a family reunion the 17th.......wow! to think my cousins and I are the older generation now. Where did the time go?

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning all,

I've had my bath, coffee and now sitting putting a plan together for my day..

Early you say? Tell that to Riley who has just started to spend her nights in the house now that cold weather is here..she kept nudging and nudging me over in the bed until I had to put a foot on the floor as not to fall off. Pushed her over and she started the kneading sooo outside she went and me now wide awake!

We haven't seen Debbie post so imagine not only did she help fabricating craft items for Hamburg show but help work it..hard job thipese shows right Dianne.

Dianne is there a spray you can use before bringing in the wood for burning? Does our harsh winters kill the ticks? Drats, worrysome.

Marion, off to your sister's, we just keep missing each other. Was telling Linda my cousin the same thing..seemed there was always a generation ahead of us, now that they'be all passed on it's our turn to take the lead..I'm with you, where did the years go?

Susan, wouldn't that be something if you got the position..sending warm hugs and prayers.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning everyone..

Almost fell out of bed this morning, Riley kept edging me off, once she knew I was awake then came the kneading so at 3:20 a.m. up and at I I was!

Odd, made a post commenting on Marion's post , lost in cyber space..same here Marion, always a generation I watched age and pass on, only 2 uncles a d an aunt left, now I'm that generation, and yes, how did I get there

You will have a great time at the reunion, is it being held at your sister's? Any Canadian relative in attendance?

Susan, great news, praying something will come of it.

Finished cutting bodies and arms of the snowman, almost quit at what I needed for the workshop but kept on going, got 25 done, am sure the girls will want them.

Cleaned a bit, was falling into wood pieces from my cuts and dragging sawdust all over, went out to the fire pit at about 5:30a.m., thank goodness dor outdoor lights..it was raining hard, thank goodness at 46 it wasn't cold enough to freeze.

Back at it, 5 pairs of snowman shoes done, 20 more to go..little harder cutting through 2" thick wood.

Guess I should get back to it. So I can clean up knowing the cutting is done,

Hiya ^_^

Nice to see you posting Susan, fingers crossed re the job interview.
Do you hear from Katie ?

LIVER! OMG .. I'm not the lover of same .. I make it for the dogs though, for dog treats, they LOVE it, but I gag away as I boil it and cook it .. I tend to think nurses are 'non organ meat' people .. when I was young, (er), lol .. my Mom would make steak and kidney pie almost weekly, I LOVED the kidney part of it, and then .. well .. lets just say .. and then >>>>

Betty, be careful cutting that wood .. mu gosh you're a busy bee.

Sure hope Debbie is OK .. I know she likely has a 'shiner' from that piece of wood hitting her. I can imagine the show was hectic. Went by a church in town yesterday that hosts a Christmas Bazzar each Saturday til before Xmas, it was PACKED !!!

Dianne .. the movie we watched had something to do with 'Outlaws' .. it was kind of violent, but, had a good story line, Billy Bob Thronton was in it .. a real redneck movie fer sure.
Not sure what the others are as Lorna picked them and i waited in the car (WUSS)
You sure have it right about NOTHING on in the wee hours .. pathetic ..

Marion, travel safe ..

Smokey is still with us .. got me up at 6am to feed him .. then it was back to sleep with him .. this is tough !

May be off to buy a pre lit tree today, not sure. Have an apple pie to make first, and, today is 'make the dog food day', be still my heart !!

Cautious "M" but accidents do happen, hopefully not with me today!
The plus out of purchasing the prelim if you buy a good one is there are no worries of ot drying that way you can have it up to enjoy a little longer IF you are a Christmas lover!

Last year I went to the garden center and purchased a cylinder with long spikes which are scented pine..I'd walk in the house and the tree smell was a fabulous. Have to get another cylinder for this season!

Liver yuk

Making bacon and eggs/toast, treating myself this morning.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

No Canadians attending Betty. Oh how I wish there were but not this time. While I am there I will be going to my Aunt's retirement party. She is the only one of mom's siblings left and has worked for a department store for 44 years. Now at 84 she thinks it is time to retire.

Victoria Harbour, ON

What an achievement, maybe that's what has kept her well!

Gloomy out there, few white flakes falling, just enough to make it too miserable to go put Xmas lighting outside.

Lyndonville, NY

As of right now I have the "day off". Not that is an actual day off as every stitch of clothing I have is dirty!!!

I honestly do not know how any of you ever worked a craft/art show. This has been horrendous!!!

Standing on cement for days straight has my back screaming. I haven't had this kind of pain
in months, but it is a burning up the spine issue. The meds are not touching it.

I have really got myself into a mess with this woman. She is now expecting me to do two more shows with her to close out the year because she has no one else. You know, it comes down to the fact she just isn't a nice person. She treats her kids...and her mother...horrible. I wouldn't repeat what comes out of her mouth to them!!

Shane used to go over there, so I called him. He said "I tried to warn you Mom". Sigh. Well, both Jordyn and Dylan asked to come live with me. I know they won't...but...it really breaks my heart.

The craft show itself went very well, and I got a "911" call from this womans mother yesterday to come over and help her produce more things, as the booth was almost empty. The show promoter was very upset and she needed more product. SO...I spent four more hours over there yesterday...in a garage with NO HEAT and it was in the 40's out.

I have to read and catch up on everything ....and get my laundry done. Two more shows coming up....and not sure if I am going to dig my heals in and say NO....or cave and do it.

OH Betty....found my keys!!! Thanks for checking.

Finally back home, a few days stretched into over three weeks. Heard this morning we are to get 6 inches of snow today...YECH !

I'm one who is a Christmas lover but we aren't going to be home so gave it all to the grands and greats. Enjoy going to their homes and seeing them enjoy it.

I have two elderly aunts and them I'm next oldest. I was raised more as their younger sister than a niece so the three of us are the matriarchs...boy that's an old sounding word.

I'm a liver lover but prefer the chicken livers over the beef unless it's a good calves liver. Love the pate' and liver sausage too but most of them no longer like me at all.

Heading back downstate for our DGS's wedding next weekend. looking forward to that, a week's respite til we go back yet again for Thanksgiving.

I got the very sweetest note from grandson and his intended thanking me for the tree skirt. Made for a very good feeling.

Another good feeling when we stopped at older daughters house....Great grand Sweet Caroline woke from her nap and came running out to hug and kiss me and say "Oh Grammy, you came back".

Debbie sounds like you really need to dig your heels in and refuse, for your own health and sanity.

Hi Susan, good luck. Just had a big statement about me, but decided it was not called for. Just let me say, hope things work our well for you this time as you've had some really bad luck!

Don't know why I thought that Smokey had already passed. It's so hard to watch them when they get to this stage. I have a Smokey, too. He's a little over a year now...still so very kittenish. Hugs to all of you!

We're expecting a high of 50 today. I worked outside raking and shredding leaves for mulch for next year, yesterday. Still have lots to do. Bill got me this nifty thing that sucks the leaves up and shreds them as it goes into a 32 gal. trash bin with a top. This will be the first time I've used leaves to mulch with, but I think I'm going to love it!

Okay, sorry to take so long to get back with this picture. There are some orange decorations in this as well as red right now, but once Thanksgiving is over, I'll pull the orange and add some sparkly silver and more red.

Oohhh, meant to say, I'm a liver lover! ;o) Just make sure there are lots and lots of sqwishy onions when you serve it! My friends get half a cow every year for their freezer. Guess who gets all the liver!? YAY, me!!! Serve that with homemade mac and cheese and yum....think that will be on the menu for this coming week!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Oh Debbie, I do think that crafty lady needs a lesson in year round fabrication..cannot expect to have inventory starting but weeks away from the show. Sympathize with you re standing on cement floor, nothing worse on the back and knees..feel for you..the no heat in the workshop, drats not ny bad for you but how on earth does the stain/paint dry?

Surely you will not go help her get things done for the next few shows? Know you don't like saying no but you will do some permanent damage to yourself if you do..could she not see ow much pain you were in? Love the photo's..you know how I love primitive

Things were selling quickly..

You need a rest, you need to come here Friday and do Markham Fair grounds and take a load of projects home with you to sell for $$$ of your own.

Joyce, love your arrangement..is it inside the screened room or outside..bet it was fun making it. How are the girls?? Light snow here, not conducive to outdoor work..am sure you are outside playing though..sounds like Bill got you quite a piece of equipment

Going to have a little restl

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Porch pot is in the screened porch. After the holidays I'll remove all the greenery and add ins. We planted hyacinths to come up in the spring. So it will have to be watered a little.

Oh Debbie, I missed your posting before, went back and oh gee, hope you can tell her NO! What are you getting out of this, anything? You better be!

Need to head outside. Just been dragging my heels today.

Betty, the girls are fine. Sherry is busy, busy. She has a lot of friends and is always cooking for them or going to their house to be cooked for! LOL.. Kathy is doing well also. I'll let them know you asked about them, cause they're always asking about you!

Do you have any news on Addy? Keeping them in my prayers! When you see Ann, give her a hug for me.

Verona, ON

Debbie dig in - do not cave. This woman is using you big time. There is a reason all her help has bailed on her...... Your pain level will only increase the more you spend working with this woman. You have to weigh is it worth it? You have your health and also the effect of this pain on your family's holiday season to keep in mind.

Think I might try and have a nap. This darn time change! Tell the dogs and cats that we fell back an hour, their stomachs don't know.

You are so right Betty about Debbie's friend ( do I dare call her that?). She needs to learn how to get ready for her shows. She has weeks and weeks to get her inventory up to speed. It is a standard clause in a show contract that you must have inventory in your booth for sale right up to closing time.

Always lots of onion when I serve liver Joyce. My mam used to put peas in the pan while the liver was simmering. Sometimes I add mushrooms too. Now I have a hunger on for steak and kidney pie M. Haven't made one for a couple of years ( 1 of Santa Warren's favs) but think I will this week.

Need to make something to eat - the banana and rice pudding I had early this am is not sticking.
Later everyone!
Dianne

Talk about 'coincidence/fate', a good friend just sent me this in email .. I am sending it to Debbie and anyone else who needs some inspiration;

"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it.

You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good.

Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy.

Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."

The friend who sent it, just had to tell her daughter in law she was DONE with all the drama, she did that on Hallowe'en, has kept her promise to herself, and, her blood pressure is DOWN !

Hi to all posting, love the pics
Off to make dog food, a gruelling 90 minutes of food processor noise and bagging, but, worth it .

Love that saying...I am going to try to live by it!

mulege, Mexico

Hi Everyone,

I'm still recovering. Had a pretty good day Friday. Was resting up yesterday when my neighbors did something of such a horrible lack of consideration (not for the first time) that I spent most of the day crying. Igt triggered a very painful memory of my mother's mother from when I was bout ten and I'm tearing up again just thinking about it so I'll go on to something else.

I like liver. Not as much as my dogs do but we all eat it. They can't have onions but I can and do.

Susan, good luck with the job interview.

Debbie, I, too, have been in similar situations. The hardest part for me - and this is something I've given a lot of thought to lately, - is that the people we extend ourselves for are rarely grateful, either emotionally or financially. I think some of the people for whom I have done the most are not only not grateful, but are often actively ungrateful aand will tell their version of how awful I am to anyone who will listen.

One the other hand, I finally asked a man who has been a friend for many years to stop with what I call "Berkleyspeak" - offering politically correct suggestions when all I need is a little sympathy. Before my knee surgery I wrote to him about how much pain I was in and he wrote "think of all the things you can do sitting down." I didn't speak to him for months, finally wrote and said I love you but no more of this crap. (Can I say that here?) He wrote back immediately and with a clear understanding of what I was talking about. AND, he has changed. I think sometimes people get into habits of communication which, in fact, destroy communication.

Along the same lines, I realized some months ago how many people in my life have never admited to making a mistake. I let go of someone I cared about because I just didn't want to deal with it anymore. I knew that even if I was willing to let something go, he would come back and tease me about it. Too painful. And a total lack of either gratiftude or the willingness to admit he might possibly ever be wrong about anything. AS I realized how many people I've known who are like that (Including most of my relatives) I was dable to open myself up to a huge appreciation of my friends who love me and accept me. One of the most strengthening parts of my relationship with Tony is that we are both willing to say "my fault." Then we move on.

A man I did workshops with some years ago used to define "ego" as "the part of you that will take you to hell to burn for eternity rather than admit you made a mistake." To be able to say "I was wrong" or " I behaved badly and have no excuse" can be a powerful and liberating experience.

Which brings me to Debbie again. Frankly, I think it would be a good idea to lie. Tell her you saw your doctor and have been ordered to have bed rest for an indefinate period of time. Then go to bed and watch lots of mediocre TV while your back gets better.

She sounds like a person who will take and demand and take and demand until you are sucked dry like a raisen and then she will b**ch about you. Best to quit before you get even more behind.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

hugs, katie

Victoria Harbour, ON

you know exactly the prep needed for shows Dianne, mno easy feat..she would be better canceling the next shows or risk management of the shows banning her from future participation.

Debbie, have you been listening to us?

Oh "M" gong to print that piece, isn't it just the truth!

Dianne, just love rice pudding but I can't make it..should look what is in the house to make my bread pudding..know I need eggs now that I cooked up the 3 left for breakfast.how is Duke this morning

Joyce, often soak of your visit with the girls..I so enjoyed it.

What a fun idea putting bulbs in the planter, makes it year round.

If I were smart I'd take a run to Foodland, get what I need, bring in last of the wood n the car for the boots and forge on..

Did get the small tree in the cafe, always fun putting the kritter deer/snowman/Santa on the chair..legs and arms must be 2 ft long. They are sooo cute

Keep looking out the front window thinking I should go get the other small tree for there

The big tree for basement will have to wait for a male to drop in lol

Lyndonville, NY

Sitting here chuckling, I knew I needed my "sisters" to set me straight.

This woman is a user for sure. The reason she is so behind...is her own fault.
No one but herself to blame. Then expects people to jump when she starts screaming.

I didn't know the entire story when I agreed to help, and I did it for her kids...which the son
was a good friend of DS....one not involved in DS's troubles but still adores him. AND the other
is a 18 year old girl, putting herself though culinary school and baking, selling cakes on side to
help make her payments. SO...it was for those two I said yes.

My biggest problem in life is always saying NO. AND this woman is just what I call a "bleeder". She will bleed you dry for sure.

I was promised gas money to the art show (hour drive up and back plus tolls) and lunch each day.
I got nothing.....and not even a meal on Friday while I was there from 10 to 4:30ish.

The other woman helping, told me she was promised $4.00 hour to help make product and she has never been paid....since January!!! I just found this out yesterday. I said WHY do you keep
doing this??? She said she was a friend in need...and she enjoys the work. IF she doesn't get
something $$$ from this show...she is done also.

This woman, her husband, who did all the cutting and such, walked out on her four months ago. She had to call the kids father (her ex) to beg him to cut some big sheets of plywood and things for her. Shane told me this man is dangerous. SO.....have mercy!!!

As Katie said...may have to lie, which really isn't much of a lie. I am hurting with my spine just on fire.

We have a bad wind warning here....so be careful incase it blows across the lake ladies. Gusts to 55 mph.

Debbie

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Debbie - call her NOW and tell her no more. You surely don't need this kind of grief!!!

Katie it is wonderful to see you posting again. You have been missed...

And both Norm and I love liver and onions!!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Got the winds Debbie, what I didn't put away is now blowing around..that with ice pellets is not making for nice day.

My eyes opened as big as loonies Debbie when you said you received nothing. I at least for your pain thought you were making $$$ and DO NOT. Tell me $4.00 an hour is adequate for anyone, now my blood pressure is rising big time..

Now you said she was running out of inventory, that would mean she's selling, selling = $$
Yesterday I'd have said 'it's luch' shall I take lunch/gas/toll money from the till? '. This kind of person you need not worry about urging her feelings.
I'm agitated now.

Know you are a helper but Ms Daisy, take it as a lesson learned and no more
Do you have caller I.d.O

We crossed posted Katie, sooo glad to see you post. I've been very lucky in my life time, only ever got burned a few times..of course family often the culprits, don't have to name one do I

You are one lucky lady to have Tony!

You got me thinking, not sure I'm not one of those who likes to says they are wrong!!!

Karen, do you really even need a permanent home, you are never more than days in one. Lol. Just keep doing the circuit. That sure is a lot of mileage...do you bring your your sewing machine?

Well Dianne made me do it, can you smell bread pudding

Dianne just found a few micro recipe's for rice pudding, just might try it one day soon

Well, here I've sat all day at this silly computer. Haven't stepped outside once and I was going to work in leaves, oh well, tomorrow is another day.

I have lost the pen that BJ brought to us that Don made and I wanted to buy another one. So first time ever I went on Etsy...that was a BIG mistake! Have so many "I want thats"! Geesh. I don't remember what name she said she sold under, but I couldn't find a way to look up by artist anyway. Sigh....guess I'll just be penless. :o( I really do like the polymer earrings, they're just so light, you don't feel like you have any on.

Oh well, guess I'm going to have to start thinking about what to make for dinner. I picked up a package of the chedder broccoli soup from Bear Creek that I picked up at Christmas Tree store. (Thanks for turning me on to that Betty!) I added some of that chicken gravy mix we got at Zengers in Frankenmuth. Oh, yum was that good!

Wish I had an inspiration about dinner. Nothing sounds good and I don't have that much stuff on hand. Wonder how Bill would feel about a peanut butter sammy...oh wait...we don't have any bread.... sigh....

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Meant to say...DEBBIE! You don't owe that woman one thing. Don't you dare go back there! She's not going to come through with any benefits for you, I'd bet my 6 kitties!!! Just say...my body just won't let me do this any more. AND it's true!!!! Now PROMISE!!!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Joyce, I've stocked up for the winter, the cream potato is also a must have, so easy, add water and there you go! Usually I get a good mixture for Greg as well, when they come in from snowmobiling it's a quick warm up for them.

I am about 1/2 done that gravy mic we picked up, isn't that the best ever.

I have my pen that B.J. And done made and as for earns, I think I ended up with 3 sets (eat yur heart out) lol and yes, so light you don't know you have them on. Loaned them to Linda who is on a cruise and I she packed the outfits I have for easy wear..the new one I just bought likely won't be returned..long sides, glitter etc..I'll make her feel bad till she returns it. Lol

Thanks for the link Susan, odd that I haven't seen the movie or documentary on tv today.

Funny thing Betty, I just told hubby a while ago, maybe we should get a motor home and just travel driveway to driveway. I know they are expensive to buy and drive but no utility bills or property taxes will off set that. I'm rather used to not having my furniture now as it's been in storage for over two years. I can just give it away to the kids and set off. I'm sure we could find a corner for my sewing machine.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Now that would be the perfect answer..omg they have some beauties out there..
I certainly would consider that big time

could even put it in a trailer park down south for winter than move it north for the summer
best of all worlds

Love the Bear Creek soup mixes. I cut up smoked sausage into the potato, makes for a hearty but oh so easy supper. I'm always able to buy Bear Creek at my local grocery.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

I think the potato soup is what you had for us, Betty. I know Sherry bought some because she loved what you made so much. I make my potato soup from scratch, so I probably won't get that, although, that boil water and whisk certainly takes all the work out of it!!

We were really windy yesterday, but today not as much. So it makes perfect sense, doncha think that I worked out in it yesterday and sat inside today???? Pffft.

Lotsa chit chat today, make me smile.

Good to hear from you Katie, take care of yourself .. you have wonderful words of wisdom ..

Debbie, I do so hop you do tell a 'lil whte lie' (but it's not) and stay home .. your health, most importantly your back, is paramount above everyone else.

So many folks up this way do the Motor Coach (Home) thing. Sell their homes and off they go .. 6 months south, 6 months back here .. only drawback is the price of gas. My one friend told me they get 10 miles per gallon!!! PLUS, you really should tow a small vehicle behind to provide transportation in tight places. The cost of'em is approx $90,000. plus .. I could never drive one .. it wouldn't be bad for DH as he drives a fire truck! .. the thought of ME behind the wheel of one of them is laughable LoL

Betty, we have sun here now at 4pm, came out around 2pm .. got to dry the sheets on the line, but, I think they may smell kind of 'smokey' from the woodstove .. never even thought about that, but, it was a bit windy, so perhaps not.
Sounds as though your day was chuck full !
Gord made a cabbage soup in the crockpot, an old firehall recipe, smells good, but, i have chicken on for supper, and, the last of our acorn squash :-(

Off to Remembrance Day ceremonies tomorrow at a local arena .. so much thanks to the veterans who have allowed us to live the lives we do.

I'm just not meant to sleep

Decided after my bath I'd get my book, keep in mind it was only 6:30
No sooner made myself comfy that I dozed off

Heard a rap at the door and there was Melanie..had fur in her hand all excited about doing Christmas stockings for Kyle and Noah's girlfriend..not tonight I said, she started to laugh.you likely will remember her early Sunday morning where she got excited about doing cushions for her outdoor settee and we worked non stop to get them done, so would not have surprised me has she said yes right now..

She said she thought I'd just be reading as it was much to early to be in bed

Wanted to say I was sound asleep but didn't

So a few hours later she is gone home and I lay wide awake

Big sigh

We looked at patterns

Hello To All;
Dianne Duke sounds like a kind gentleman who does not want to impose.... Hoping you can get him straight and take in the great dane as well..
Hubs LOVES liver and I like it as well so we will take a plate if you don't mind....
Debbie please get some payment for what you have done for her before you commit to more... (HUGS)
M!
Time line is we have an inspection Tuesday that we may not pass because (LOVE OUR VETERANS) everyone is closed Monday for Veterans day.

So we may get electricity Tuesday only in time to *not* pass inspection....since we can't get everything up and working by then.
I worked in quickbooks till 11am then drove up to shop and started cleaning. I cleaned till 6pm and had a lady drop in to help.

We hired a young man (40) to be an assistant manager. And we have made offers and hired a few newbies....

DSD1 has been accepted into the Disney College Program. She will begin in January.

DSD2 I went to her confirmation and she was so appreciative.

DS will go work with Hubs tomorrow and I will go into "work".

Love you all (HUGS)

M I too was thinking about the Edmund Fitzgerald today. Even dragged my Gordon Lightfoot album out to listen to his song about it. I had an uncle who worked the boats in the Great Lakes so we were all worried he was on the Fitzgerald. Uncle Dick was very much a loner and we never knew what boats he was working on and of course my Grandma was very worried.

Susan sending positive thoughts for your interview tomorrow. Given it is Remembrance Day will you even be able to find out any particulars ?

Oh Betty I am sitting up with you.... I dozed off around 10 pm and Duke got me up around 11:15 to let him outside. I was so excited he remembered to tell me he needed to go out that I am wide awake. Watched an episode of China Beach on the Book Channel so now I am really awake.

So Mary are you going back to your day job for a rest? Just kidding as I know you work hard at that job too. How does your DS like working at the shop?

Katie it is so good to hear from you. We have all been worried about you.

Debbie I sure hope you will heed all of your sisters' input. You do not need to set yourself back months because of this woman. She made her own bed and you don't need to be dragged into it.

Joyce did you end up deciding to have soup?

I too will be going to the cenotaph here in the village tomorrow. The whole PS walks down for the service. We have several vets in the area from Korea, Nam and Afghanistan so they will be at the service. I will take the time to also remember 2 very good friends of mine who lost their lives in Vietnam. I so appreciate and want to thank all of our vets for their efforts so that we can live the life we live today.

I'd would love to have a hot chocolate right now but I didn't go out to get milk today.Drats!

Sweet dreams everyone

Andy and family left about 6 last night, and we had such a great time. Andy made pork Marsala from scratch, with fresh cooked baby spinach. Oh my that was so good. Then we had Todd's favorite carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for his Birthday cake. Heather decorated the top in a hot rod theme, and he really like that! I helped MaryAnne with a homework project. She needed some fabric to decorate a paper turkey for school. So I let her go through my fabric and pick out what she wanted. Then I cut the fabric and sewed it to the turkey.
