Foggy day here .. taking the SUV in for its routine check up, sometimes I think vehicles get better care than people !!

Feeling kinda bad, had an email from a nursing classmate, asked me why I wasn't at our yearly dinner last Wednesday .. I thought it was on the 28th !!
I HAVE to start using my appt book again, just can't trust the 'old bean' anymore :-(

I'm still in Chula Vistsa. Endless van problems. Endless and expensive. No fun. I have formulated a plan for dealing with the retirement assocaition; I just need the energy and clarity of mind to execute it. Right now I'm just handling minor medical stuff and getting ready to head for home.

Got a message from Tony's "other woman" that all is well at home. No tropical storms in site for the moment.

sorry to have been out of touch for so long., Wish I had better news. Also wish Betty had better news. Did they really buy that suicidal kid a dirt bike? How about a foot pedled bicycle? Dang.

I am back!!! Had a wonderful visit with Betty and her sister Sharon. I laughed so hard
with those two!!! So needed this time with her, and meeting Sharon.

Part of me is going back to Canada, left my coat in her car! LOL

I don't know how they can fit anything else in her car....and they were going to another store
after I left them. lol

I think we all need to have days like you have just had Debbie. I miss getting together with my friends in Gainesville but am not up to traveling just yet. 2 years of driving I-10 and I-75 has left me exhausted. So happy you enjoyed yourself.

Marion, that is the first time I have gone out with friends.....since the last time I met Betty. I think
that was end of April early May...and snow was still flying.

Then good for you!!! When I get a little more recovered, I plan to go to Gainesville to spend the day with my friends. We will mostly likely do more sitting and talking but oh, how much fun that will be.

YAHOO, good to hear you got together with Betty and Sharon Debbie .. envious!

WELL .. I bought a NEW car today.. took my Rav in for a check up at the Toyota dealer, saw a beautiful 2014 Corolla LE, test drove it, and, BAM.. coming home with it on Friday.. still in shock !!
Have attached a pic, but will have a better one later on ^_^

Just got in..drats, Kyle said when he left here today there were 5 women downstairs, doors were locked and no key..luckily Mel had one.

Asked her how Noah was doing, she said principle was giving him a hard time but otherwise doing ok

I asked he he got the dirt bike, was told he gets it Friday..he has been at work, half decent mood, not drugs, guess we shall see!

On a high from meeting up with Debbie, she got to stay with us for several hours which was nice, so. Missed seeing her

BUT, always a BUT before we got to Sharon's Debbie had befriended her on Facebook..now I'm in trouble..that Debbie just glows, looks so angelic but is so full of mischief, don't let her fool you

I so wanted to buy a bug witch, Lordy she was adorable, about 4' high and they wouldn't key me buy her.

LindaKay, got my Jammie box, LOVE my nighties, infact can't wait to get into one of them and if I ate all those Halloween candies you sent I won't be fitting in them for very long

Katie, sorry to hear about your vehicle problems, nothin g like having car trouble when you are travelling..not the best re expenses..now what plan have you hatched re retirement board? Lol

Greg and Noah just left, Noah had to work overtime tonight so Greg waited in town for him.
Noah with all the todo lost a lot of weight but looked great.

Seems he is getting the dirtbime Friday..Melanie's bio dad /mom gave $1,000
Greg/Mel $2,500 and Noah/Kyle work at Factory Rec so his is putting $1,500 on an account and A payment comes off each of Noah's checks..I will not contribute until I know he is really trying his best then I will help with equipment etc.

We had some laughs, enjoyed that..got big hugs and kisses need that!

Sharon sent 2 big boxes of clothing for someone in Midland, too heavy for me to lift, lady is on her way to get them which now means I have to stay up, oh well, here I sit with the pretties nightie LindaKay sent me in the pj swap box, drinking hot chocolate and marshmallows which also was in the box and I got the loveliest glass pumpkin and candies to fill..drats Greg and Oah filled their pockets with chocolate bars..know I should have waited to take them out of the box
