Morning everyone. Still getting light rain here. It is a nice cool 75 degrees here.

Pouring rain here, get ready Betty .. headed your way I guess ..

Going to be a L O N G day as I slept like a crummy bear last night .. is there a SWITCH somewhere on the body that shuts OFF the brain for at least 6 hours ?

Thoughts and prayers for all needing them .. most especially Alex and Addy and Noah and Nathan and families.

Off to do exercises, toff up the house, and get on the road to go to the local market for sweet corn with the folks ..

Son got to have dinner and spend the evening with his DGD, after not being allowed to see her in many months. Bless his heart, he had her call me too, sat and cried.

Morning,

had a half decent night's rest and all the better for it, not as teary eyed (so far)..

Talked to both Melanie and Greg, they are doing a satelite assessment with Noah this morning..only hospital that seems to have room is for the mentally challenged and I don't think either Greg or Mel will go for that..we'll see how the day progresses.If they suggest this location and Greg and Mel don't go for it then likely home he will go..Melanie says she is aware he needs help big time BUT they don't have the services at the hospital that is willing to have him in..likely just a lock up facility..not good.

Noah's at the point where he is talking, wants to try and deal with the problem, big change from last few weeks, could be a ploy I know but you always hope.

Nathan is now with a friend's family, prayers needed there as well.

going back to read what you are all up to, missing you all, need my fix..

got to say with this all going on I"m accomplishing much in finishing proojects..had a throw I did with christmas tree / snowflakes and red cardinals, sitting here hand sewing binding and finishing
the movie Kyle put on for me..quite an eye opener on fast foods..in 30 days a man who was in A-1 health is now starting to have organs shutting down simply by eating all at McDonalds..yikes

Kyle is coming this afternoon and I'm taking him out to Chinese Buffet, then he's back to class then work

Morning everyone! It is still raining here. Not heavy, but enough to keep the yard wet and mud for Luna to track in!

Just after 9a.m. weather looks heavy, think that it's about to rain!

Did some housecleaning,mthanks to Barb I went on a mission to find something and lo and behold managed to clean the junk drawer out. "M" we talked about oddest thing we could find while doing the drawers, for me it was a cow bell. Lol

Not much on my agenda, few projects I can finish up while being quiet, no news today as yet!
Greg did call me last night, what a state he was in, actually screaming and fed up..Noah while having his meeting was calm, agreed with all, changing his life, the works

The session no sooner finished that his attitude changed. Greg wasn't sure if he was (Noah) getting to go home but Greg is beside himself as to not kowing how to deal with everything on a daily basis..told him to screemam on anytime, just call and vent.

Karen, do you think that little one is milking it? Lol

Big sigh, was to meet up n Buffalo with dg'er, I managed to get the day off, Sharon booked her dogs for Monday in a kennel and now due to life she will not be in Niagara Falls Tuesday. Will not change my p,ans, lots to do there, might have gone this weekend just to get away from it all but because of Sharon being disappointed I'd best stick to my plan.

DS Murray went FISHING in it .. caught some beautiful Salmon which he is sharing with us .. YAY .. Saturdays supper is figured out !! Have attached a pic ..

How is Luna doing now LindaKay, healthy as can be I bet. You haven't mentioned in a bit how your dad is dong..imagine, about a year since Joyce, you, Judy,Karen and I met up in Frankenmuth..would have been nice to do so again..

Timbrr mart just called, my granite washroom countertop is in, they will deliver tomorrow or Monday, now to book the young man to do nstallation...might even get to look for new shower curtains,towels while stateside.

Could go pick up roll of linoleum to do a mat to match as well

Be nice to see that project done then I will have to see what king of a mess it would be to put in a new tub/enclosure unity

M, when will dinner be ready? I love salmon but no one in my household will eat it. I can remember going on a business trip with my late hubby. He had to go to Corvalis,OR for a week and as we had some very good friends there, I joined him. He said I was going to start flopping around if I didn't stop eating so much salmon. Enjoy a bite for me, please.

Roger loved fish, not I..perhaps one or two times I will have fish and chips but only if they offer fish that doesn't taste fishy. That being said I took the gang at the Sistah's reunion for fish fry and then when Joyce and the girls where here where did I take them? Tobermory for fish..

I always get fish and chips when I go visit my niece....which is way over due. The 2 weeks Kim was in the Dominican Republic I ate fish every other day.....enjoyed every minute of it too.

Betty I'm with you on the eating fish...just as soon not. Don't ya just know nearly the whole family loves it. Walt goes down for a while every day, fortunately most of mine do catch and release.

Miss Sammi is indeed loving all the attention, she is a princess after all. They also gave her a black boot to wear over the cast and it was totally blinged up, bright paint, sequins, beads and glitter.

Twas middle of Oct. we met in Frankenmuth, a grey dismal day but golly we had a good time. I'd be up for that again in a New York minute. Really looking forward to April get together. Should be such pretty flowers blooming, Mountain Laurel, Azaleas and Rhododendren.

Murray just dropped off the salmon .. HOLY FLAPPIN FISH FINS !! It's a biggie, and YES it will be Saturday's supper , the last meal with Lorna's parents, and they are OVER the moon happy about having it .. can take my thinking cap off now and just do it up as I always do, and, enjoy ^_^

DGD first Field cheerleading day today, feel bad we can't go, but conflicts with Chinese Food supper .. there will be lots of other days to go .. $5. to get into EACH football game !!!

Best get moving here, going on an excursion with the folks to another Conservation area, maybe see more deer/bear/moose .. as long as it's IN the woods and not on the grill of the SUV I'll be happy !!!

Luna is doing really good, as is Dad! My Sister was in the hospital last week for weight loss surgery, that went really good, but now she is admitted to rehab, as she has bulging disc's in her lower back, and it is so painful, she can't walk! I also got a text last night that my Sisters youngest son Steve was rushed to the er again due to pain in his chest. He had to go into emergency surgery to drain fluids fro the sac that surrounds the heart. They drained 1 liter of fluid and blood. She said the Dr, was concerned there was blood in the fluid, so they put him in ICU for the night. I have not heard anything this morning!
Sending lots of prayers for Noah and family!
I wish we could meet up again too, that was so much fun, even if Cookie dropped and broke her bottle of chocolate wine!
That is a nice salmon, but like Betty, you can keep it. I like small pan fried fish, but not salmon!

Update on Steve...
Steven is sitting up in a chair eating his breakfast. He is really sore but he is alive. I am so grateful. We should be moving to a regular room sometime today. We are currently waiting on the lab results to see what caused this. I will post later. Keep the prayers coming.

Oh man M I would love some of the salmon. Santa Warren loved to fish - you have no idea how many hours I have spent in a boat or canoe fishing. But the meal of fish afterwards and the time alone with my guy was worth it. I'd would love a meal of pickerel/walleye right about now.

Betty, Noah's compliance is not unusual. It is all a show and hopefully the interviewers were skilled enough to notice. You usually can't pull the wook over their eyes - they have literally seen it all. Sending prayers of comfort, hope and strength.

Prayers for Steve LK. He is doing so well.

Duke is turning out to be a real sweetie but a bit of a stinker. I love it! He figured out how to turn the bedroom light on and takes great joy at doing so repeatedly at 4 am. I have a ceilingfan/light in the BR. In order to reach the chain for the light I need a stool so I added some cord to the chain. Great fun for Duke. Diesel and Duke are getting along really well thank heavens as that was a concern of mine. I still see a king sized bed in my future.

Time to get moving as other than sowering and walking the dogs a couple of times I have done nothing. The house looks like a puppy romper room so I best get going.

Omg Dianne, turning on the light, let's hope you can train him the turn it off and on when you ask him to, save you some steps..seems like its a perfect blend with doggies and kitties.just make sure you are not on the couch and them in your bed! Lol

For a bit I thought the sun was coming out but not, overcast again. Was waiting for tmbrr as they said they would come today, if I'm downstairs I don't always hear when someone is at the door. Might just put a note on the door telling them to come in and yell..know them all so not a worry

Got an email from Mel, Noah is home, not sure what the next plan of attack is?? Know Greg is not a happy camper..sometimes you wonder if even a good marriage can survive the pressure?

Oh no Betty, was hoping, "experts" would recognize a snow job when they see it. They should be going on the past few days behavior not a short interview. Hugs to all your family, they're going to need them.

Oh Betty I am deeply saddened by the news Noah is home although I did expect this outcome. Greg really needs his momma right now and I am so glad you are there to listen to him scream.Praying that the day will be peaceful with no outbursts.

Dianne, a king sized beds will make the DOGS quite happy LoL.. don't know how many mornings i have woken up clinginf to the side of the mattress while Lilly and Piper and Smokey snooze away LoL

Storm moving in. Don't need the Weather Liars to tell me, my joints are doing a great job.

My house looks like a Puppy Romper Room. What a mess! Both Diesel and Duke looove to shred paper. I'll need the big shop vac in the morning to clean this all up. Not sure what I am going to do with Duke when I vacuum, I just might have to put him in the Escape while I do it. Poor little guy is freaked by most noises - even the timer on the stove. He certainly has been on the hurting end of a leash - I have to be careful how I put the leash on him or he just flattens himself on the floor and shakes.

Sweet dreams Betty. I hope you get some sleep you get some sleep tonight.

Raining, guess its another inside day!

Mary must be an exiting but scary time for you. Lance just got his papers and to now set the job aside, thankfully this new venture will prosper and before long you will be handing in your notice as well.

Dianne, Sailor was abused prior to coming to me, cowered when a man would be near, terrified of noises, hid when caucus was out but chased and tried to stop me from using lawnmower..as she received love she became less frightful..I'd make sure any male coming to the house would throw her a few balls, that was sure to make them her friend. You must sit,watch and laugh at their antics

LindaKay, sorry somehow in my self wallowing I missed about Steve..glad he is on the mend, soon he will be home..how frightful for your sister. Yes, don't you remember Joyce going to look for that special bottle of wine to drink in the room then breaks it. Any plans you going up to see your dad?

Was in a sound sleep last night, phone rings, Kyle wanting to chat, after an hour I said night/night. Told me Noah asked if he could go to work today, guess he is!

Goal of the day: see what quilt I can put on the frame, think ive one more batting sitting there. Time to stock up in till Buffalo Tuesday.

Well back to collecting dust bunnies under my bed and dusting..if the rain lessens a bit I will take a trip to back shed and see if I can find fall totes and decorate.
