Morning everyone,

Moved us over

http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1319050/

Saw that Deb was in the hospital, out and did some travelling and now home .. Glad she felt well enough to do the travelling.

hooe Barb is soon well enough to drop us a line..miss her..

Mary, Suzanne, Linda and Rita will be with me and talk about busy we shall be, they've got almost every minute accounted for on this trip. We meet up on July 4th for supper to discuss Tavel itenary. Rita did call yesterday morning, said she 'was thinking' sure hooe nothing is preventing her from coming.

Not a fan of flamingo's other than live ones, what beauties they are.

Marion, pardon me from not remembering, Kim leaves when?

Debbie, as for blue mountain pottery, would be nice to get a piece or so but think there are about 30 pieces

Who got to view the super moon? I stayed up until late just to see, not sure if because it was overcast I didn't get the view, was a bit larger but not by much..woke up during the night, seemed much brighter but no awwww.

Looks as though it might be a sunshine day, can you believe it I've nothing planned. Maybe run over to Greg's and see all the work he has been doing to his place. Am sure I shall find something to keep me out of mischief.

Jean - that was fascinating! Thank you. Now I know two people to send flamingos to!!! LOL

Good morning all. Up for just a little while but wanted to drop in and say thanks for the well wishes. I really appreciate them. I'm finding I can stay up for a little while longer each day so I'm hoping it won't be too much longer before this nerve settles down for good. I've been reading along as much as I can and send love and well wishes right back to all of you.

Judy, Norm told me you called. I'll try to call back when I can stay up a while longer...

Good morning, thank you for sharing that "interesting pink history" with me., But please....don't let the flocks leave the south, oh they would
freeze so so badly!!! lol I remember as a very small child going to a park to see Christmas decorations....and there were so many pink flamingos
for Christmas. And when I was down this past December in Siesta Key, there was a Santa sleigh being pulled by 8 pink birds!!!

((((Barb)))) So happy to see you, I hope you feel better soon. All the medical advances in the world you would think sciatica would be one
to work on!!!

Love the flowers!

Betty, I didn't see ANY moon. It was too overcast. Rumor has it.....it is best to view at the evening or dusk horizon....rising or setting....it is when
it looks largest, not when above us. So, maybe if you can go down to the lake and watch??? Take someone with you if you do.

Having my coffee, going to be a hot one today!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Hello everyone!! I hope Susan didn't get flooded out, I saw how Calgary is flooded!

Ooohhhh barb I hope you feel better real fast!

I have an update on myself! I sold my house and am moving to Spring dale, AR (northest corner) on Thursday, June 27th!!! Betty you have to let me know when you will be in Brandon so I can visit with ya, I'all be living about an hour away! I'm posting from my cell phone and it doesn't lways type right so please excuse my misspelled stuff. Lol. I'll post again real soon, I don't have a job up there yet so I might have time! Lol!!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Crissy what a surprise, bet you are thrilled the house has sold!

You get to turn a new page in your life, may the best be ahead of you.

Could you not get a transfer from either jobs??

Lady of leisure you will be

Hugs

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hey Crissy, so nice to see you pop in! Congrats on the sale of the house, and good luck in the new chapter in your life!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I went on line and looked up the area where Susan lives. It seems to be high and dry. If you look at the map in the link, the downtown and flooded areas are marked in red. Looking at the top right side of the flood area, you will see RENFREW and WINSTON HEIGHTS Susan lives just a short distance from that major intersection.cloverleaf. It looks like all the flooding was south of her.

Maybe if they were camping outside that area....they can't get back in to their home with the flooding.

Edited to add....she hasn't posted anything on FB since May 29 either.

I'm just wondering if not with all she and bob have gone through that she may have had to let her Internet service lapse or as I mentioned before, a trip needed to visit her ailing mom.

This past year has been very difficult for her, perhaps she is opting to taking a break away from Internet.

Would be nice if she let someone know she is ok..I like you worry.

Did have her number in my blue book and somewhere it is placed for safe keeping , maybe in my reorganizing efforts I shall find it!

Lyndonville, NY

I know you had it and called when we were there to Skype.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Just sent her an email..looking for my book now

Maybe info on my work computer

Lyndonville, NY

I sent her a "where are you" on FB also.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Been on the couch all afternoon, so humid, decided to have a nap, trying to talk myself into getting up and doing something!

Lyndonville, NY

Paul had been working outside all day and just now put the AC in the window for us. It is 84 in the house...and I am swollen so
bad.

Got trees all trimmed up, lawn mowed and pulled a few weeds. Then he came in all sweaty and did the AC.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Well the thunder gods are roaring but so far...no rain. I wish they would stop teasing us and just let the wet stuff go. :-) Bad me, I went back to the nursery and purchased the Delta Jazz crepe myrtle that is suppose to grow in semi shade. We shall see.

Crissy, so very good to see you post and better the news you have sold the house. Sending a big hug and all the best with this upcoming new move.

Betty, Kim leaves the 29th of this month to go to Atlanta, then flies to the Dominican Republic on the 30th. Should be returning home sometime around the 15th of July. She is getting excited now but scared also. Their Spanish is a different dialect and will be a challenge for her. I have learned she does quite well when challenged though. My son has just returned home from diving for the National Park Service in the Dry Tortugas for a week. The youngest GD told me when we were going to the movies on Friday...."Grandma, daddy didn't get eaten so he is coming home" She is always concerned he is going to be eaten by a shark.....poor child.

Victoria Harbour, ON

88 here, the feels like is 92 with 52% humidity.

Glad that Paul finally got around to hooking up the A/C
You will feel much better once it cools thing down for you.

Kim will miss July 4 th celebrations with you and your family but what a time she will have..all new to her?

That poor child, whatever got that into her mind?? Glad as well he is not all eaten up. Lol

This time I really am going to get my butt off the couch

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Personally I am hoping the job came through and she is just swamped and working long hours.....that would truly be a good thing for her.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Yes, she will be gone the 4th of July and that part does bother her as it would be her Dad's birthday. We always go put pinwheels on his grave (family thing) but alas I will be doing it this year. She was in Europe last year on the 4th so I am used to her not being here. My son will also be out of town on the 4th as that is his family's annual camping trip to the beach. I just plan myself a small celebration dinner and relax!

Betty, she watches the Nature channel quite a bit and knows there are sharks and big fish in the water. I understand they did see a rather large barricuda but as they go down in groups that always has a marine biologist whose job it is to keep watch for dangerous situations.......mostly Lion fish as they can damage the dive suits and gear.

Victoria Harbour, ON

You must worry terribly Marion while they are gone..

Going to take a run to Greg's for a sec
Maybe get some fruit for supper while I am at it!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Like any mother, I worry about all of them but they are grown and I do have to trust their judgment.

Funny you should mention fruit for supper. Kim and I made a huge bowl of fruit yesterday and oh my it is so good today....nice and chilled!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Picked up fruit for salad, dropped into Greg's, Lordy he has redone the entire top stairs, 3 bedrooms, painted, new flooring/furniture..he was outside doing pool and hot tub, looks exhausted.
Mel and the boys are in Meaford and will be heading home later tonight.
as I was leaving Greg asked if I'd like to go to dairy queen for an ice cream Sunday in an hour, ok, said he would bring me a helmet and we would go riding on the spider...game for anything!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Susan's e-mail came back as undeliverable!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Does anyone have her phone number?
Betty, sounds like your son has been doing a lot of remodeling? Looks like he gets the energy from you!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Found one book, her name is not in it, going to look at d-mails from her, likely it's in one.

Storm just rolled in, thunder/lightning and heavy downpour, unless it blows over no cycle ride for me tonight.

LindaKay, both my boys never stop, not in us. Lol

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

LK, Jaye might have her phone number. I know they have talked a lots in the past.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Just going to check her subscription renewal date, could be the reason if so It will get fix it up

Victoria Harbour, ON

Not the reason, subscribed until 2014
Got to 2010 in dmails and no help there, off to search in a few areas for my secondary tel. Book

Victoria Harbour, ON

Sunshine, well at least I'll not have to water the gardens and planters..headind Dianne and Debbie's way.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I scrolled back, and last post she made was 3 June, when you all were talking about the voltaren cream.

Victoria Harbour, ON

just got back from Dairy Queen, best I start saving pennies, loved the spider ride, was so cool by the lake, almost made me forget how humid/hot it actually was.

Still didn't find the number..drats, I'm thinking she has no internet

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Debbie, any word from Dianne? Last she posted was 14 June.

Time for roll call ladies, please let us know your OK!

Lyndonville, NY

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sending well wishes for her too.
