SWEET INTERRUPTIONS # 261

I really do need to get on with my chores. I made a list of things I wanted done while Kim is away. I think the trip to see mom and then the rush to finish getting Kim ready to leave has just left me exhausted. A couple of lazy days (well I do a few things daily) and I will be up and at 'em again.

Looking forward to a salad tonight..to hot to cook.

sara's aunt died last nite. I haven't told her, am waiting until after the fourth, because Michael is buying her a new bike and fireworks for the fourth.

Alrighty folks, something to humor us with while we be lazeeeeee.
True story.. and yes.. Kel's lovely mother is the source of this.

She begged BIL to get her a new security system. The old one, with her paranoia, and ran by local company, she didn't trust.
BIL did so.
First time the installers came, she told them it's still too early in the a.m (around 8) and they left.
Second time, they called first and said they'd be coming at 9... she got regally pissed and called HQ and lodged complaints about waking up 'ill' residents (referring to FIL).
Now, these installers had to travel a great distance to install the security system, so she's actually the ONLY client in this county. So, it should be to their convenient right?
Today is the 3rd time. Said installers will be here for 11 a.m.
She agreed and wanted Kel to be there when they arrive.
At aound 10.45 this morning, she called Kel up and told him not to come.
She saw two black men getting out of the company's vehicles, she hurried and bolted the door and gave a rousing earful to the company!!!
Yes, she hates blacks, and Kel said she had forgotten how she got rich from poor blacks.
So you all know where I stand with her.

It's not actually funny... but now another company has MIL blacklisted!!

Kel says it will be easy once his father is gone.. but I don't think so. She will be a hateful one till the devil take her away.. (sorry Lord)

Moving isn't an option sis. Jobs are scarce, and I don't want to return to having to pay a huge mortgage.
Just being here and sometimes the occasional shopping therapy helps!! Lol!!

That is so sad Jaye but funny too. So who now does she expect to install the system. BTW, I am thinking the world revolves on her whims rather than the normal way. Sorry.....bad of me.

Oh Jaye, if sewing your blocks in the wrong way is the worst you have done...you are a mere beginner. When I was pregnant with Kim I decided to make Ross a shirt matching a smock I had made. The material was plaid and I very carefully laid everything out and cut the pieces. Set the sleeves on to realize I had grabbed a sleeve and cut the cuff out of the center......duh!! I had to buy another full yard to be able to match the plaids again.....he wore it until it was a rag!!! :-)

Glasses on me head all the time....maybe pushed up but on me head.

BIL now's trying to appease the company. BIL lives in Charlotte and don't want to drive 4 hours just to face her idiocy!!
In the meantime, that great white patient man Kel is watching his dad while MIL's off to town to calm her nerves (Her words). Yep.. her whims Marion. No regard to the fact that Kel's trying to rest before work tonight.

Trust me there will not be time for a bedtime story....or atleast not to the center I went for mine. I checked in at 9 pm and by the time I was "wired" I was sleepy!! But if you wants me to, I duz it jest for you.

It is so hot, but not as hot as it has been at Cindy's. I so want to go out in back and work, but not until it cools down.

Darwin's black eye is looking better. It won't be so scary when he sees the eye doctor tomorrow. Glad the appointment is early so weather won't be so bad. He is doing good, now is wanting strawberry Ensure floats. He said strawberry is really good. When I bought Ensure at Costo last month all they had was chocolate. Don't know why they can't put different flavors in one box.
