Oh no, sorry to hear someone took your gas!
Sweet Interruptions # 258
we're getting new gas caps today...... b4 we fill up again!
That's brazen of the thief to do that when you're both in the camper.
God wants us to count our blessings, and I'm glad, that's all he took Susan..
Awe, love that Muffin man!
Muffin, you be good to Mama now. Don't try to bite her, if not she'd use that water bottle on you!
then he'd eat the bottle, like he does the brush.
Not if you're faster in squirting him!
All I have been eating this past week, is fruits and veggies. Very little lean meat.
Poor you LK.
you're making me hungry
Michael is taking me to lunch today for mothers day
That's nice of Michael. Eat my share sis!!
oh, we weren't IN the camper - it was over the winter, when it was parked in the compound. It musta been his/her "free fuel depot" cuz they couldn't have taken 2 tanks of gas in one Jerry can.......
We bought some locking gas caps that thread on, rather than "pop" on, cuz the pop on ones pop "off" too easily........
We have the locking gas caps for all trucks. It's Kel that had to pump the gas, as I don't have the strength to unscrew the caps.
You're right, better these than the pop off ones.
Happy Mothers Day everyone!
Good morning..
Happy Mother's Day sistah's All.
Sue...Taynors, where are ya? You ok?
Ma a n, Susan, how aweful someone stealing your gas!! Hope the new locking gas cap works well.
Jaye, i'm with you, can never get the cap off...lol, Dh leaves a pair of pliers in my van, lol got to fight with those too.
Enjoy lunch with Michael, so sweet.
Whats everyone got planned??
We will have MIL for bbq, lol not her, but dogs, brats and burgers. that will be much later today, while she is here though, think I'll work in the yard.
yikes, cold and windy here.
Happy Mother's Day sistahs!!
Hope all get to enjoy a wonderful day today and your DHs and Kids would be very thoughtful to you.
You all are great mothers, and Sue..... extra hugs for you dear.
Lolol, I hope not Judy. Your MIL doesn't give you any grief, so I'm sure you'd be treating her like royalty.
Today, will be another day for me, no bbq here Sis Judy. Might just take a trip to the store to get a new microwave, and sew, sew, sew later!
I am very fortunate that I had experienced unconditional love from three mothers. My late mother, my godmother and my ex' late mum. You all know this is going somewhere.. I'm hurting for Kel that he doesn't know what a loving mother is.
God bless all my sistahs here who continued to be so nurturing to their kids, at whatever age!
Happy Mudders Day sistah's
Happy Mother's Day sistah's from me too!! Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Happy Mother's Day Ladies,
I'm in Carson City Nevada, my mom is bowling in a tournament. Today is last day and will head back home afterwards. Not much else going on, spent most of the time in the room, don't like wasting hard earned cash in slots machines.
Anxious to get back home beings the weather is warming up....Doug does not take good care of my flowers :( while I'm gone and a lot of Lilies are getting ready to bloom ^_^
Dropping in with a Happy Mothers' Day to all..
Imagine, snowing here, sure hope it was a sunshine day for you all.
Special hugs coming your way Sue.
Happy Mother's Day everyone!
We got carnation corsages at church today...... very lovely.
The previous gas caps were locking ones...... but a locksmith said that they're all garbage - can be popped off easily. Bob went all over the place yesterday & today looking for the right size cap for our MotorHome..... guess they're not standard for nowadays - ours is a 1975 vehicle......
Last night we went to an Irish Dancers performance - kids from age 3 to 18..... very good (but very loud - hard shoe is what they call some of it, like River Dance.... my head is still pounding)
They actually did a "nod" to River Dance style.
It was called "a History of Irish Dance). Some of it was a kind of "soft shoe"
Morning sistahs!
I have coffee ready, dark French roast, and croissants!
Cody!!!! Welcome back sweet one!!! Yayyy! You're reconnected to us now! HUGGGGSSSSSSS.. that's for Alex too!
Good to be able to see you here on DG! We need pictures of Alex if you could.. been missing you.
Cindy, most men aren't keen in taking care of a flower garden. Had this man whenever I asked him to deep water the plants, he'd just do a 1 second douse over them!!
Poor you Susan, having to sit through some thunderous feet stomping!! Over here there's 'clogging' which is a dance that originated from European settlers in the Appalachians. Instead of wooden clogs, tap shoes are used. But, having an extra tap riveted to the single tap! Bad thing about this dance, when one is out of sync, you can 'hear' it!!
Lanakila, it touches me to learn that you adopt rescues. Great of you and your DH.
Hope everyone had a great mother's day yesterday.
The weather is cool today, good thing for more garden work outside. Mosquitoes were bad yesterday. I must remember to arm myself before stepping out.
Have a good day sistahs.
Morning everyone!
Cody, so glad you came back! We are all glad to see you posting again!
Jaye, make sure you put a dryer sheet in your pocket, or spray yourself real good!
Thanks for the coffee....grabbed a cup as I ran out the door to the yard. Trying to get some things done before it warms up today.
Jaye - don't get me wrong - I LOVED the dancing.... they were so adorable - from age 3 to 18!
One 12 yo lad had been in this since he was 4, and just 8 days earlier he was at his mom's funeral... how very sad....
re: loud - just saying that Irish dancing is loud, and these kids were very energetic lol
We were at the very back of the theatre (auditorium) and still it was loud. I can't imagine what it would have been at the front LOL
Good morining y'all. Thanks Jaye and Linda Kay.Its great to be back with my friends.I missed y'all.Hugs back too ya. Sorry everyone, but i had to edit one because it won't let me post.Linda Kay the only flower i have is my son. Thanks Jaye!!! Hi Susan!!! Hi everyone i hope your day is going good.

Susan, sorry to hear the young boy lost his Mom!
Cody, do you have anything blooming? what have you been up too?
yeah, it's far, far, far too young to lose a parent - at age 12.....
NO mosquitoes!!!! Got one area of weeding done. All at 10 minutes at a time!
Soon I'll be off to Lowe's.. itching to find some clematis. Wanna come, LK?
Sending this nice weather to you and Marion. So spring like!
Susan, if you were at the front, you won't be here with us today. You'd be nursing a gigantic headache!
Ain't it wonderful to see our niece Cody again?
f'sure, Jaye - or my hearing would be goners!
lol it's 66F right now and only 9:30 am - our hottest part of the day is 4:30pm...... it's going to get hotter than the 72F they're predicting.
Calgary is known for under calculating the projected weather. For sure it's going to get to 80'ish...... yesterday it was 32c, 90F.....
Everyone was outside for Mother's Day - stores were "crazy busy"!!
Jaye, hold on I will be right there! ^_^
It is nice to have Cody back!
