had to call the post officethe mailman only takes part of my outgoing mail, and leaves the rest. she said the box is too low

Got home awhile ago from my MRI (on left knee) - 1 1/4 hours from door to door lol I left home at 6:15 to be there for 6:30, filled out paperwork, x-ray by 6:40, then changed into hospital pants & top, then 20 min worth of MRI and I was done. Home by 7:30! Dr will have results in 1 week.
btw - it's cuz I fell 2 years ago, in the snow (april 2, 2011). My previous Dr just had it x-rayed and it isn't broken......

I hope your MRI turns out OK. My friend fell out of her trailer and never went to doctor until the pain was so bad and by that time needed a knee replacement. She is doing just fine now, but when we are younger we never think a fall is going to cause some damage somewhere down the line.

My daughter just sent me an early Mother's Day email.... with a video
and she told me how much she loves me - now I'm all weepy and crying....

I couldn't do anything special for my mother as she died too soon.

Pegi, I had never broke any bones when younger. Broke my foot in my old age, and seven years later I'm still having 'issues' with it.

My grandad was an avid photographer. He'd gather neighbourhood kids and 'staged' scenes.
I'm the tallest with the umbrella. The girl next to me was my childhood 'foe' at that time. But grandad didn't care and insisted she be in the picture.
I showed him that I won't share the umbrella with her. Think I was about 6 years old.
No siblings in the first picture.

I haven't even tried to scan any of my old pictures. I better get it done before it is too late. I have lots of pics in a suitcase. I think my sister took all the pictures my mom had, but we've made copies of a lot for each other.

Pegi, those pictures will deteriorate in that suitcase. It took me about a month to scan all the old photo's I got from my Mom when she passed away. I have them on CD's and on the external hard drive.

I bought an external hard drive to put pictures on and always think I'll mess something up if I try. My son and I were going to learn how to scan, etc. and he passed before we could get going, 8 years ago.........do I procrastinate too long.

No, but there is no time like the present to learn new things, and get them done! You can do it!

I'm back sistahs!! It's a bloomin' hot day and I'm glad the a/c is working.
Was in the garden for a short while, and normally, I'd have four to five cats trailing me. But today, it's just Marley, who waits for me under the shade while I snap a pic of a clematis closeby. Smart fella.

Can't complain when it comes to the oldies. Most of them are truly ageless.
I can listen to Billie, Sarah, Ella and then spin some George Jones...

The graduation ceremony that I throw at work is tomorrow so today's been a busy one. Picked up centerpieces, had the rental tables and chairs delivered, started steaming out the backdrop drapes, picked up faculty regalia (caps & gowns) and laid out programs, gifts, and diplomas. Much, much more to do starting early tomorrow, but by 3pm all will be cleaned up and I'll be on the road back home.

Put a couple of new books on my Kindle, took some peremptory Advil, and headed for bed with the furbabies to get a full night worth of zzzzzzzzz's before all of the hubbub starts.

I beat both of you to bed! I was in bed loaded with pain killers by 8:00 pm. My diverticulitis is flaring up, and my tummy hurts so bad, that is why I am back up at 3:30 am!

You might have to be on a strict diverticulitis diet for a while to avoid flare ups.

Bob & I "enjoyed" the overnight in our camper. Only thing is.........someone siphoned all the gas out of it. About $75 worth, so Bob wasn't able to turn it over. We have locking gas caps, but they're not working anymore, so we're going to get new ones today....... That was 2 gas tanks worth of gas.
It'll cost over $100 to fill 'em again.
Good thing we found this out now, and not when we were heading out on the 24th. At least now we can plan for the cost.
Also, we couldn't figure out how to use the battery on the motorhome, so didn't have heat. Had our coats for before bed, and plenty of coverings for bedtime!
