The heater's still in use last night but today it will be in the high 60s. Hope you're back to normal Texas weather LK.

Thoughts and Prayers for you FIL, Cookie. it's a cold and cloudy day today :(.......so guess I'll stay indoors. Started sanding on the Bachelor Chair, but the stains won't come out. So looks like I may paint it black. I decided to go with a different print, than the Butterflies (will save that for doo rag). This print has needles and thread.

It's funny you say that house looks like a fairy house...two gay men live in it, lol. but it reminds me of a gnome house.............

Having computer troubles Jaye. Problem will be solved as we are holding a memorial service for it tonight at Best Buy. If a transplant will revive it...great, if not, then a new one will come home with us. Just waiting for Kim to get home from work.

Charles (son) took me for my pre-op yesterday. Afterwards we picked up Catie-Beth from school and what a fun time we did have!!!! Abbigail had chorus practice so we have a special time with her later.

Yes, it's very frustrating. Bill is "on call" all the time. 4 times to the hospital and once to the Dr. office in the last week. He's picking them up from the hospital right now.

cooking easter dinner today, because Michael has to leave to go back to work in the morning.

my daughter started moving today, all I will say is that I started crying when I saw where she was moving. I will look for any excuse tpo get custody of kaden and bring him back to a half way decent home. my step son was scared, he couldn't wait to get done helping her

Oh Sissy, I'm so sorry. What could she be thinking? Hope you're taking care of yourself and not working to hard with the moving business.

I just ordered 4 spider mums from a place in Indiana. They will be shipping them to me on 5/6, which is good because our last frost date is 5/15. They don't sell spider mums around here, and last year I decided I had to have some.

I think Sue is feeling better. She and the kids are coming down on Monday and I'm getting the grandgirls. The last time the 4 of them were together, we all had the best time. Planning on a movie this time out.

Well, must get back to the house work. :o( It's 60 out and I have to be inside cleaning cause my sister-in-law is coming to visit Bill's dad and she said she will come stay with us if he scares her. He has been pretty mean to my MIL lately. I'm scared for her!

My son Andy called a bit ago, and told me how his morning was going. He said he heard something scratching under the stove, so he unhooked the stove, and proceeded to pull it out to see what was under it, it was a small possum that ran under the dishwasher, so he pulled out the dishwasher, and it then ran under the sink, and down the hole around the drain pipes, so he then tried to pull up the boards, and broke the PVC pipe to the hot water, only to see the possum run outside. Now he has hot water spraying all over the place so he turned off the water valve, and got a bunch of towels to start mopping up the water all over the floor. When his foot hit the wall, it upset a nest of fire ants that were in the wall so then he had to spray bug spray to kill them! I sat listening to him, and just laughed so hard! I know he had a bad day, but it sure sounded funny when he was telling me what his morning was like!

Shaking my head in disbelief. Your daughter should know better, Sis. If paying a little more on rent elsewhere for some security, she should move for both their safety's sake.

Cookie, maybe your FIL needs some anti depressants. Sounds like he's taking out his anxieties on the one he loves.

Anyone tried the 3-2-1 cake?
For a quick one serving chocolatey snack.
Mix one box of Duncan Hines Devils cake mix with one box of Angels Food cake.
3 tbsps of that mixture in a coffee cup
2 tbsps water stirred into it.
1 minute microwave

I had that one serving with my coffee today.

You're brave LK!!! Andy should thank God that he didn't get burn with the hot water nor broke his foot!! At least the kitchen floor's clean now.

Forgot to click on "watch this thread" and got lost as usual. We are taking a long drive out to visit friends and have dinner tomorrow. DH seems to be feeling a little better so hope he keeps improving. He sees the oncologist on Monday and I hope he isn't upset about the PSA test rising. Has been on the new drug for 2 months now.

Went over to Walmart and DH finally decided to get his fishing license that his friend got him for Christmas. He got one of those moterized carts to ride in so he wasn't so upset by having to wait about an hour. No one seemed to know how to put it in the computer and print it out. Finally had to call one of the techs and ask him. I did my shopping then took my things out to the car, went back in to see what was taking so long and they were trying to figure it out. Patience is not one of his virtues either.

I think I figured out what is attacking my brugs. Went out the other night and there was a large snail attached to one of the flowers. Finally after knocking it off there was a large hole in the blossom. Such a pretty light orange color.

Andy and Heather came in with the kids, so I will be having a great Easter with them here.
I saw this post on Facebook, where the kids plant jelly beans in a pot of dirt, then in the morning it grows into lollipops! So we planted the jelly beans, and the kids will be so excited when they see what has grown in the morning.

It drizzled this morning... so I said my prayers and thanking Him in my pjs in the shelter of my kitchen.

Cookie that is very common in dementia patients. Yes they can get mean and physical too. i m looking forwardto our visit. hope the weather isn't to bad for us.

I went to the Sunrise Easter Service at 7am today, and hardly Any wind, and NO rain which was predicted..... quite lovely. and of course I took my Sistahs signature quilt with me - so love it!!

Poor Bob is sooooo sick with a cold - didn't go to either service today, and will stay home from work tomorrow.

Well, on to the next project - my Lone Star bed quilt.......

hope Bob starts to feel better soon.
