Well I am home already. I arrived at the shack just as a family argument erupted. This is a very vocal family so I made my exit quickly. No way I was getting in the middle of some other family's dispute.I was looking forward to spending some time with the horses - yes they still use the horses to haul sap out of the bush. Have a feeling there will be no family Easter dinner for these people, or at least not a happy one.

LK, anxious to hear the kids' reactions to the jelly beans growing into lollipops.

Ahhh drats and more drats, I too was looking forward to hearing all about your adventure..so much stress in family theses days that it becomes too easy to find a topic to argue (differences of opinion) about!

What movie shall you watch..

Kind of disappointed that there Re no movies re Christ on Easter Sunday..looked yesterday as well ..did see part of Moses though..I'm hoping to go to Walmart tomorrow and pick up the newly released 'Bible' movie/series I've been watching..

I'm doing laundry and washing dishes and cooking for the dogs and generally getting ready to leave tomorrow. It's warm here today - good for my solar dryer.

I've ordered patterns for pot holders, children's quilts, fabric flowers and some other things. The crisis about ownership of my land is not resolved but I'm over being freaked out about the situation and ready to get back to trying to get some kind of craft group going. I've talked a lot with Tony and am proceeding slowly. I want to hlep but do not want to be in charge and to get into power struggles (or legal problems).

I still have to chop up the liver for the dogs (and me). Taking it easy. It is so great to have Tony here helping me. And he's as happy with me as I as I am with him. He sure helps to keep me grounded. I think his brother is in a treatment program just north of here. I don't know if he's an alchoholic but it's a safe place for him so the family does not have to worry so much.

The washing machine is calling my name.

Betty - they have the Bible series for sale? I missed the 1st 2......
Watched the balance of "Bible - In the beginning" with George C Scott as Abraham. Had watched all but 1/2 hour, and needed to get to bed because it was our Sunrise Service this am at 7. We bought the movie at WalMart.

Did something terrible, terrible but unintentional..hurt Julie's feelings..drats I just don't think...

We were all having a lovely visit, talking about everything and anything..I asked Jeff how work was going, how the new employee was working out, said great, taking a lot of work and stress off of him..great..Jeff goes on to say he has to let a woman go, she just isn't grasping the job, needs someone to sit with her..the position could be seen as redundant Neil new series of programs come out so he has to let her go tomorrow...silly me I ask how old is she, Jeff says about 45-50 jokingly I say, now here is the kicker, why don't I use my head if not my brain
"Jeffery Russell Pauze, how can you let a grandma go, how will she ever find another job, shame on you!". Well Julie (whom I wouldn't hurt for the world) is having a birthday Thursday and is turning 48 (4 years older than Jeff) , she says
'Jeff your mom is calling me a grandma'. Lordy you should have seen the expression on her face and I could see a difference in her after that comment..I just wanted to cry..if nothing else, I know this about ME, regardless of any situation I would not deliberately hurt anyone's feelings..I FEEL TERRIBLE!

It's inopportune, but ...... it happens.
Heck, at 59 I've have my "age" feelings hurt, but as an adult, I just try to get over it...... life happens!
